The First Adventure In Winter

The following day Scarlett and James began getting ready for today's adventure out. There was a chill in the air, floating through the house, making everything cold to the touch and shivers down spines. While Scarlett was in the bathroom getting ready James began opening the curtains in the house to reveal frosted windows. At the bedroom window, he gently placed his hand on the window and the frost began to melt away. He gently wiped the wet window to reveal a white outside.

"Woah," James gasped,

"It snowed, Isn't it a little early for snow?" James asked himself. 

James was admiring the white outside when what sounded like a scream was heard from the bathroom. His attention was quickly broken, and he rushed to the bathroom door and began banging on it.

"Scarlett! Scarlet are you okay?" James yelled,

"Scarlett!" James yelled once again.

James couldn't wait and burst into the bathroom to see Scarlett staring at her hands.
