The new teachers

(A.N: skip to ch7 if you want to read the synopsis and after that. The first few chapters are prologues. Enjoy!)

On the third floor of the prestigious school, there was a room labeled 'Staff only'. Inside that room, there were three people. One was a beautiful woman with lustrous silver hair and deep blue eyes that seemed to pierce the souls of whoever dared to stare at it. The second person was a young male in his 20s with dirty blonde hair glistering green eyes and a charismatic face that could make any girl from any age swoon over him. The third and the final person seems to be the exact opposite of the other two.

Compared to them, who can be considered the pinnacle of beauty by some people, he seems barbaric with a buzz cut, faint scars, and tattoos all over his body and has this dangerous aura about him. None of them spoke, as they were listening to a holographic image of a middle-aged man in a military uniform which was decorated in medals with a very serious expression.

"It is time, the elves of the eastside have fallen. We can not delay it anymore, what is the status of the barrier?" said the holographic image.

"It is about 97% completed, sir. We just need a few more awakened to fuel it and we will be ready for the convergence"

"Then get to it. Dismissed"

As the holographic image disappeared, the charismatic young man sighed and said "97% done… it is doable, we just need to be lucky with who we pick. We only have 3 crystals remaining so let's take one each. Do you have anyone in mind?"

"I do and I'm surprised why I didn't pick him sooner." said the scary man. "His name is Blake Emberson. You should have heard of him already with him being the football team captain and stuff. Great kid, he has the determination needed to succeed in this worl- I mean in our world. What kind of teacher would I be if I didn't give someone like that a chance for greatness?"

"I pity that kid now that you have chosen him. No scratch that, I pity every kid who has to go through your ridiculous training regime. They are only level 0's for god's sake! They are not even awakened yet"

"Shut your mouth, you useless goofball. At least my training will help their starting attributes be higher. What does your good-for-nothing class do huh? And who did you choose to judge my disciple!"

"Hey don't underestimate music you dumb brute! Seriously, even an orc can be more intelligent than you sometimes. Anyway, I chose the class president of the class 10A. She has this air of superiority around her that makes kids shut up. Kinda reminds me of Miss Silver here to be honest. I bet she has a knack for mana. Who did you choose, Silv?" asked the young man.

"I… still haven't chosen one yet Alex," replied Silver.

"Well, you better hurry up then. We have a week tops and we will go home. Now then you ugly brute, let me show you the beauty of music."

"Unlike you, I am a responsible adult and a teacher. I have a class I have to teach."

As the two men are bickering with each other, Silver looks at a pile of files on her desk. With a sigh, she takes one and starts to read. The name on the file read-

"Oi Aster, wake the hell up! Recess is about to be over" someone yelled, awakening a young man from his short yet sweet slumber. The young boy groggily got up from his desk and stretched his arms while yawning. "Damn, so fricking sleepy". After getting up, Aster looked around trying to see who woke him up. Aster had short, messy black hair and icy blue eyes. He was around 174 cm so not too short and not too tall either. He had porcelain skin and he had a somewhat handsome face. He wore a black suit with golden trimmings which shows that he is a sophomore at the highly prestigious "Stellar High School". After identifying who awoke him, he walked over to his desk and said "Sup Bryan" and shook hands with a boy.

"Sup. Been busy have you? I never saw you looking this tired before." a chocolate-skinned boy replied. "But seriously, when and where did you get the balls to sleep before Ms. Silver's Class?

Aster who was still a bit sleepy until now was shocked awake due to this statement. "Seriously thank you, I owe you now. It would suck if she came in and saw me sleeping. That would have been detrimental to me and my stress-free lifestyle."

The reason why Aster is so afraid of Ms. Silver is because she is one of the infamous trio and she is known for being ruthless. Last year, Stellar High fell out of the top 100 schools in terms of academic grade in the Avian city. It was a devastating blow to the school's reputation and many parents were blaming the teachers for their children's poor grades so the school fired a bunch of teachers and hired new ones.

The school raised the pay of these new teachers in hopes that they work their hardest to restore the school back to its former glory. Among those teachers, three stood out the most. The "Siren" Alex Alabaster, the "Spartan" Ares, and the "Demoness" Silver. It is unknown which eight-graders came up with these titles but they fit so they stuck.

Alex is known as the siren because his music is said to be able to enchant people. Not in a literal sense of course but it is almost real. Aster can back up that claim because he experienced it before.

Ares is named the "Spartan" because of his absolutely hellish training and because of his name. Take Ken, a typical weeb and otaku, and Billy, a rich dude who has never taken more than 10 steps in his life, and make them do a certain bald man that one punches everything's training. That's how cruel he was. But his regime works and Aster can vouch for it. Aster was a skinny kid with barely any muscles and after Ares took the position of P.E teacher, he gained significant muscle mass and became somewhat athletic too.

Out of the 3 teachers, the only one Aster can't vouch for is Silver because he has done his absolute best to never get on her bad side. There is a rumor that she gave some kids triple homework for sleeping, being late, not finishing their homework, etc. And she has weirdly good hearing. She can hear a whisper that is barely audible from the end of the room.

However, the most fearful rumor is something else entirely. According to it, she has offended a rich kid one time. Maybe she didn't get bribed and give him an insta full marks or she didn't agree to become his girlfriend and the kid got a grudge against her so he hired some hooligans to beat her up and 'do some things' in an alleyway. And so, the hooligans and the brat went to confront her… and she absolutely beat the hell out of them. If the rumor is to be believed then each and every one of them had to be hospitalized and they are still there to this day. It sounds unbelievable but it sounded like something like she would do.

Nevertheless, the day passed just fine and Aster was about to leave for the next class when Miss Silver said

"Meet me after class"
