Welcome to the Devildom

The portal opened and you fell down through it.

"Ouch." you yelped as your butt hit the marble floor.

As you opened your eyes after the yelping, you saw your surroundings were arranged to look like the courtroom. It was very similar to the room on the 7th floor of the administration building of Phantom City though.

"Welcome to Devildom, MC!" the man in the seat of the chief judge greeted you.

As you saw many pairs of eyes looking at you, you began to act like you had practiced.

"The Devildom?" you feigned ignorance, surprise, and shock.

"Yes, exactly. I see that you catch on quickly. Oh, I should start by introducing myself. I'm Diavolo."

"Diavolo...the Devil?" you continued your act of ignorance and shock.

"You're correct. I am the ruler of all demons. And soon, I'll be crown the king of Devildom."

You nodded, indicating you understand each word Diavolo spoke.

Diavolo then began introduce the Royal Academy of Diavolo, or RAD, the assembly hall, and the student council to you.

"Uh...demons go to school?" you asked.

"As strange as it seems, it's the truth. Demons go to school." Diavolo answered.

"So...why am I here?" you knew it all from the stack of documents the higher-ups gave you, but your act like an innocent lamp in a den of wolves.

"I will explain everything to you."

You turned to the black-haired demon who had just spoken.

"MC, this is Lucifer Morningstar. He's the Avatar of Pride. He's also my right hand man." Diavolo introduced the demon to you.

"Diavolo believes in peace and harmony between demons, human, and Celestial Realm. As the first step towards this goal, an exchange program was instituted. And you're one of the two exchange students from the human realm. Your period of stay is one year."

"School! I don't like school!" you said.

"That's too bad. Because you will study hard here with a lot of tasks here at RAD for one year. By the end of the year, you will also have to write an essay on your stay here in Devildom and your study at RAD. The essay must be 50 pages long." Lucifer said.

"You...you...you demon!"

"Haha!" Lucifer just laughed.

"50 pages...long..." you mumbled.

Lucifer then took a phone out of his pocket.

"Take this device, It's a D.D.D. It's similar to cell phones in your world. This will be yours to use as long as you're here."

"The phone's password, please!" You asked as you opened the phone and saw it asking for the password.

"1234567, please change it in the settings once you have settled down so my brothers can't mess with your phone."

"Alright, got it."

"Good. Alright, let's me introduce my brothers to you. As Diavolo have told you, I'm Lucifer, the Avatar of Pride, and I'm the eldest of 7 of us brothers."

However, you was fidgeting with your new phone...your D.D.D. and did not look at Lucifer anymore. It should be understandable because you just got new phone, so you should spend your time trying to figure out its functions. But Lucifer wouldn't tolerate that.

"Although I said the D.D.D. was your to use, you should know that I have the authority to confiscate it if I deem necessary."

"Sorry. The new phone...I mean, the D.D.D. looks just so cool and all."

"Hahaha, they basically said that the D.D.D. is more attractive than you, Lucifer."

You turned to the seats of the judges, and you saw a blonde demon laughing. You could also hear Lucifer's growl at the blonde demon.

"This is Satan, the Avatar of Wrath. He's the fourth eldest of us brothers." Lucifer introduced you to the blonde demon. "He may look and act like a gentleman, but he's actually not. You better be careful with him."

"Don't say that, or you'll scare them away." Satan told to Lucifer while looking at you, smiling.

Lucifer did not reply to Satan's comment but moved on to introduce another brother.

"This is Asmodeus, the Avatar of Lust. He's the fifth eldest."

"Hello, cutie. I believe I haven't met someone as gorgeous as you before, not as gorgeous as me, of course."

"Lucifer, I'm hungry." an orange-haired demon said out loud, as his stomach rumbling.

"This is Beelzebub, the Avatar of Gluttony. He's the sixth eldest." Lucifer introduced him to you before turning to Beelzebub and said "Beel, stay still. After this, I'll treat you to a meal at Hell's Kitchen."

"This is Mammon, the Avatar of Greed. He's the second eldest of us. He's also your caretaker." Lucifer then introduced you to the last demon in the room.

"Tsk...why do I have to be a puny human's babysitter?" Mammon mumbled.

"Anything against the arrangement, Mammon?" Lucifer glared at the white-haired demon.

"No, of course not."

"1...2...3...4...5..." you counted using your fingers. "Aren't there two more?"

"My two other brothers...you will have the chance to meet them...later. Mammon, go take MC back to the House of Lamentation."

"Alright, give me all things valuable you have right now. Or I'll hang you on a tree." Mammon said to you the moment you stepped out of RAD's campus.

"Uh...um..."

"What, hurry up!? Or do you want to be hung on a tree?"

"I don't have anything valuable on me. I was taken here so suddenly so I didn't prepare anything." you said, trying to be as innocent as possible.

"Uh, alright...don't misunderstand! I'm not sparing you, you will have to pay me once you get money. Consider it babysitting fee."

"But where could I get money from in this foreign realm."

Mammon could swear that he saw tears flowing from your eyes. It must have been much much to bear since you were taken here without prior notice and had to stay with evil, sadistic, gluttonous demons who desired to possess and devour your soul for 1 year, 1 whole year.

"...D...don't cry. I'll show you how to make money later. Now let's get back to the House of Lamentation."
