Greed and Envy

Mammon led you to a very big mansion in the very center of Devildom's capital.

"This is the House of Lamentation, where you'll be staying with us." Mammon said as he led you into the House of Lamentation.

"Wow, it's big and spacious." you exclaimed.

"This is actually a dorm of RAD. It's not just any dorm, ya know it's the dorm for student council officers of RAD. Only a mansion a grand as it is worthy of THE Great Mammon and his brothers."

"You guys are THAT important down here?" you asked.

"Of course we are! For ya information, we're the Seven Rulers of Devildom, so we're extremely big shots here, the top of the top of Devildom's social hierarchy."

"Hearing you say that, I feel extremely safe." you said with sparkling eyes looking at Mammon as if he was your idol.

"AHAHAHA, you don't have to worry about your safety, because THE Great Mammon has taken you under his mighty wings."

Before you could feed Mammon with more of your sweet but deceptive words, you heard a SLAM.

"SHUT UP AND DIE, MAMMON!"

"LEVI!"

"I can't focus watching Kamen Rider Revice if you make so much noise."

"Kamen Rider Revice", hearing the name made your face darken. A few weeks ago, you just bumped into the newly revived Giff, or Gifu, in the Hall of Phantom City, and it was not a pleasant experience.

"Hey human, are you alright?" you heard Mammon calling you.

"Sorry, Mammon, still a bit dazed after moving here."

"A...alright. By the way, this is Leviathan, the Avatar of Envy. He's the third eldest of us brothers." Mammon introduced you to the blue-haired demon.

(Focus, MC! Or you might blow your cover.) You told yourself.

"Hello, Leviathan. I'm MC." you held out your hand.

"Don't touch me, normie! Only Ruri-chan and other 2D characters allowed to touch me."

"Levi's an otaku." Mammon told you. "And just call him Levi, you don't need to go with the full name."

"Are you a fan of Ruri-chan too?" your next words surprised both Mammon and Levi.

Then you went on to describe the adventure of Ruri-chan and Azuki-tan, along with some of their fights against the evil forces.

You not only knew how Levi idolized Ruri-chan from his file, but actually clashed with her in real life on one occasion, right before the finale of season 1 of "The Magical Ruri Hana: Demon Girl". Let's just say you're on par with her in terms of strength since it was a draw.

"Great, another otaku." Mammon commented.

Soon, Mammon realized this was his chance to slip away before Levi remembered the debt. You would be fine under Levi's protection anyway.

"You...you really understand." Levi cried. "No...no one really understood me until you appeared."

"Don't cry. As otakus, we have to stick together." you said.

"Th...thank you!...Wait a minute, where's Mammon?"

You looked around but did not see Mammon anywhere in sight.

"Onore, Mammon you scumbag! How could you sacrifice an otaku for your own escape."

"I...I guess he does not want to stay with a yucky otaku like me." you told Levi and looked down with a sad face.

"D...don't say that. Y...you're my best friend and I...I will make him pay for making you upset, and also for the amount of money he owed me from 200 years ago."

"H...how? He's your elder brother."

"Yeah, he's stronger than me...Ah, that's right. I have a plan, but you must take part in it."

"O...ok."

"Since you're human, you could make a pact with Mammon. Like in those movies where people make pacts with demons in exchange for their souls."

"B...but I don't want to lose my soul." you said.

In the Phantom City, it was extremely prohibited to sell your soul to a demon in Devildom, because when you die, you soul belong to said demon, and all info of the organization would be leaked to the demon if that demon turned you into their servant instead of eating you. If a member of Phantom City was discovered to have sold their soul, they would be banished to the Void, where demons couldn't reach. And there's literally nothing existed in the Void. In short, a fate worse than death.

"It's not necessary. It depends on what's stated in the pact." Levi said.

You heaved a sigh of relief.

"So my plan is..." Levi whispered to your ear.

That night, you settled into your room without a hitch.

After taking a bath, you opened you wardrobe to see if there was anything to wear for the night.

(The shower gel and the shampoo were wonderful. I really have to praise who chose them for me.) you thought as you looked at the wardrobe.

Inside the closet you saw a set of pajamas with a horned teddy bear's face on it, along with 7 sets of RAD uniform.

After you finished putting on the pajama, you took out your D.D.D. and began adding Diavolo and the brothers to your friend list. You immediately got messages from each of them.

Asmodeus: [Hey, MC! I figure that you will need a lot of clothes during your stay here. Want to go shopping with me tomorrow after school?]

Asmodeus: [We can also get to know each other better *heart emoji*]

[That would be great] :MC

"Nice pajama they got you there."

The voice sent a chill down your spine. You turned to look at the drawer beside your bed. There was a purple daruma on top of the drawer. You could swear that you didn't see it at all a moment ago.

"Lord Pride." you bowed to the daruma.

"Don't be scared. Through this device, I can communicate with you, should anything happens, I will react accordingly." Lord Pride said.

"Thank you for looking out for me, my Lord!" you said.

You gritted your teeth. This is the worst. They actually dared supervising you in your own room, where you are most likely to hold your secrets. Lord Pride also said "I will react accordingly" not "I will protect you", which meant if you were discovered to be a mole, you would be on your own, meanwhile he would make preparations to deal with the Devildom.

"By the way, you will meet your direct supervisor tomorrow, at the school."

"They are a teacher?"

"Yes."

You heaved a sigh of relief when Lord Pride said he would talk later. You sat down, took a break before beginning the process of modifying your D.D.D..

Early morning the next day, you walked out of your room, stunning in your RAD uniform, and went to the dining room.

But before you reached there, you notice something...someone hanging on the ceiling.

"What the f*ck!!!???"
