MEETING HIM AGAIN
5 year later...
We have already graduated college and so far nothing has gone with our relationship. Earl really fulfilled his promise of always making me happy. Right now, Earl and I are making a business. We wanted to make this business so that when we someday pass away, this business will remind the future generations of our love.
a while ago, Earl told me that he need to go to Florida to buy some properties that his parents wanted and that he had to leave tomorrow.
The next day, when Earl left, I was all alone at home. I really felt lonely without him and he told me he'll be back in a few weeks. But, I decided I'd surprise him 6 days from now. I'll go to the hotel he's staying in Florida and surprise him since it's his birthday the next day. Of course he'd wanna spend his birthday with someone. So, I called Lea and Alex to help me book a flight.
6 days later...
Today is the day I will meet Earl! I'm so excited! I just arrived on the airport of Florida and I'm gonna get a taxi going to his hotel. When I arrived at the hotel, I went to his room which is room 503 and I knocked. But, when I was trying to open the door, I realized the door was open. So, I went in. When I got in i said " hey Earl advance happy birthday!" Until tears started falling from my eyes. I saw A girl in bed and Earl putting a blanket on her. Earl said " Everly what are you doing here? Don't misunderstand us! It's not what you think. Please let me explain." But before he even explained I ran out of the room crying. Then I called Lea telling her everything and asking her to help me book a flight tomorrow going to Toronto. Earl tried chasing after me but it was too late. I already took a cab going back to the airport again. My heart was in so much pain. I didn't expect that Earl actually lied to me. All those memories were just fake...
The next day, I arrived at Toronto. My friend name Leo came to pick me up at the airport. Leo, is my childhood friend, we've known each other for almost 17 years already.
Leo asked " So why'd you decide to come here?" I replied " it's nothing. I just feel like it. I can't take it anymore. My boyfriend and I broke up." Then, I told Leo everything that happened between Me and Earl. Then he said " Don't worry, I'll take care of you."
So, I decided to stay at Toronto until I was 30 years old. That's like about 6 years. But 2 months later, without any contact with Earl, Alex called me saying that Lea got into a car accident and is now unconscious. After I heard him say that, I quickly booked a flight and told Leo that I had to leave since Lea got into a car accident. But he told me that he'd go with me since it's really dangerous for a girl to be alone.
The next day, when I arrived at the hospital where Lea is, I asked the nurse is she okay? The nurse replied " What do you mean? there is no one named Lea staying in this hospital." Then I called Alex and said " Where's Lea? She's not at the hospital." He's replied " meet me in my house."
When Leo and I arrived at Alex's house, I knocked. When Alex opened the door, he said " Come in. But who is this young man?" I replied " He's my childhood friend."
When I got In, I saw Lea and Earl sitting in the couch. I ran to Lea, hugged her and said " How are you? Are you okay? Do you know that I rushed going here because I was so worried about you?" She answered " Everly, I'm sorry but that accident thing isn't true. The reason why we did that is for you to come back and for you and Earl to get back together." I said " There's no way I'm getting back with him! Do you even know what he did?" Earl butted in and said " Everly please let me explain and who is this guy with you?" I replied " Oh this guy? He's my boyfriend Leo. That's why don't think about getting back with me!" Then Leo and I left Alex's house.
While Leo and I were walking, he said " Everly, I can't take it anymore but i want to say that I really like you and I won't be like Earl. I will always make you happy and never betray you." I told him " Leo, this is too sudden for me. But give me 3 weeks to think about it.
