Noble Emblem

A young Brave walked out of his village, gathered companions to his side, defeated the Great Demon King, became famous, then came back with beauties in hand! This was a legend that appears in the world of Seyrol every 200 years! Our protagonist, however, isn’t a Brave. Even so, for over a thousand years his figure has loomed throughout its history. Unwittingly, the name of the Red Priest began to resound throughout the world. Red Priest’s legend included extraordinary sword techniques and magic, erudite knowledge, and an almost prophetic ability to lead young Braves toward the proper path. People of the world think of him as a descendent of the ancient Golden Race which led to his omnipotence. In essence, however, this was just the characteristics of the profession known as ‘Noble’. A word from the fabulousest translator/editor on Earth which is me I took upon this translation/editing project for the same reason I started translating my first Chinese novel. There are just too many big ass gems buried in a deep cesspool. I've long guessed that Qidian stopped introducing good Chinese novels on this platform in order to give some breathing room for English (and other) originals, but I don't agree with such approach. From a reader's standpoint, it is such a shame that we don't even know how many brilliant works we are missing because of the language barrier. To be honest, I'm mainly copypasting from the site called Novelhi. It is a really good resource and their machine translation is the best I've seen so far, and they also translate up to the latest available chapter. Still, they have several issues. For some reason they always miss the last paragraph which make you can missout on a potentially very important information related to a story, and they also have parts where just a couple of words gets repeated for a whole paragraph and it actually replaces the original text. They also translate an ad together with a chapter which is immersion breaking. I'll be correcting the inherent sins of such MTL with manual editing and translation and I will also polish some rough edges so that the readers will have as much seemless reading experience as possible. You will definitely have a better time reading this than me for sure

Violent demolition

Grinton's castle was located at the highest point of the entire Bronze Drum City. Grinton was staying up late to give instructions on the affairs of the city. Suddenly, he felt touched and walked to the window and opened it. Under the moonlight, there was a thick fog that no one could see through drifting out from the slums. At a speed that was neither fast nor slow, it pressed towards the direction of the Shrine of Brilliance.

"He's still the same. He can't take any losses."

Closing the window gently, Grinton smiled. He was not interested in the hostile relationship between the Brilliance Shrine and the Woking Shrine. He was just paying attention to his friend out of habit. Although they had only been together for a few years in the dream, Grinton was really grateful to Beta. Without Beta's guidance in the dream, he would not have become a Legendary Master who was not only strong but also strong in mind.

The young Grinton was just a piece of trash who was sensitive, paranoid, and timid.

Apart from Grinton, only Alice noticed the thick fog. After all, Alice and Beta had been on the move for a while, and she was very familiar with the Fog Manipulation spell.

After seeing the thick fog, Alice really wanted to go up and help, but she gave up after thinking about it, because she knew that Beta was very strong. Whether it was temperament, strength, or stratagem, as long as he took action, he would have his own plan, and there was no need for outsiders to intervene.

In the past, Alice always thought that her father was the strongest man in the world. Every time her father intentionally or unintentionally praised how strong Beta was, she never believed him. However, after a period of time, she finally realized that Beta was indeed stronger than her father. If he was not strong enough, he could use the Round Table Knight System to train himself. However, Beta had the reassuring aura of a strong man and a trustworthy leader. Most importantly, Beta did not have too many "justice complex."

Whether it was Kail, her father, Grinton, or herself. When they encountered a situation where they had to fight, they would always hesitate, for fear of accidentally killing enemies who did not deserve to die.

However, Beta did not have such concerns. This wasn't to say that Betta was cold and merciless. On the contrary, Beta was usually very gentle and kind, but once he decided to make a move, he was shockingly decisive in killing. He was like an emotionless puppet that directly crushed all his enemies into pieces without mercy.

Alice could already guess what would happen to those people in the Brilliance Shrine.

She smiled back and closed her window.

The Fog Manipulation spell had an effective radius of 605 meters. If it was spread out, its coverage would be very frightening.

At this moment, the shrine was less than three hundred meters away from Beta and the others, and it was naturally covered in thick fog.

Looking at the Brilliance Shrine, Beta clicked his tongue and said, "They are ready to be attacked. The entire shrine is protected by a powerful magic barrier of light. If we try to break in head-on, they will definitely launch a fierce counterattack."

"Then what should we do?" Katie felt that she had no way to vent the anger in her heart. "Are we going back just like this?"

Beta, however, chuckled and did not answer. He took out magic materials from his storage space and began to draw a magic array on the ground. About half an hour later, a magic array with a radius of more than two meters appeared on the ground.

Katie looked at the bright fiery patterns on the magic array. Even though she did not know magic, she could feel the powerful magic power contained in it.

Beta walked to the center of the magic array and pointed at the Brilliance Shrine in the distance.

The magic array began to hum. After a brief pause, the magic array glowed red. Then, the red light followed the patterns of the magic array and gathered at Beta's feet. Then, it climbed up along his ankles and finally turned into a bright spot on Beta's fingertip.

All the magic elements had been compressed to that point, so the red spot was so bright that it was dazzling.

Then, after a huge explosion, the red spot turned into an enormous fireball more than one meter in radius and flew at the Brilliance Shrine at a high speed.

When it was fired, the hot wind it produced directly blew some of the members of the Order's guards who were standing unsteadily to the side.

About half a second later, the fireball hit the wall of the Brilliance Shrine, only to be blocked by an ivory magic wall. Then, there was an intense explosion. The fireball in the night sky turned into an enormous flower of fire that illuminated half of Bronze Drum City. Then, an unbelievable explosion and intense wind came over at the same time.

Half of the thick fog was blown away, but it soon condensed again, and the guards of the Church were pushed back by the hot wind.

At this moment, almost everybody looked at Beta in surprise and fear.

The fame of the Red Priest was only known in Winterwind and those who were involved in the battle for the throne. In Bronze Drum City, most people thought that Beta was a toy boy who rose to power by relying on women. Although the toy boy was indeed capable, a toy boy was a toy boy after all.

Such a belief was quite popular among the guards of the Church.

But after seeing what happened, none of the guards of the Church dared to underestimate Beta anymore.

Such a magic array was called a Spell Enhancement Magic Array. It was a major reason why Mages were known as remote cannons in their later years. By gathering abundant magic power in the magic array and enhancing the caster's body and mental strength, the caster would be able to launch an appallingly powerful spell.

In the process, the caster would be the barrel of the cannon. The larger the caliber of the cannon, the larger the cannonball that could be launched would be.

On the other hand, the spellcaster's physique and Mind Power determined the caliber of the cannon.

At this moment, Beta was only a Master. If he were a Legend, the fireball that he launched could blow up half of the enormous Temple of Light, even though it was protected by the magic barrier of light.

Beta breathed heavily on the spot, his sweat pouring like rainwater. Although he was a compound class with a good physical quality, he was still exhausted from such a powerful magic power outburst.

After half a minute of rest, Beta's breath slowed down and became even. He raised his hand again and pointed at the Temple of Light.

About ten seconds later, another enormous, orange fireball hit the wall of the Temple of Light. This time, the magic barrier didn't work anymore. It was broken into pieces by the terrifying flames and explosion of the fireball and disappeared into spots of magic light.

Then, the aftermath of the explosion blew away the spire of the Temple of Light.

The magic array under Beta's feet disappeared and turned back into magic elements. Magic arrays to strengthen spells usually had a limited usage time and cost a lot of magic materials and money. To build this magic array, Beta had spent at least a hundred and thirty magic materials.

"Okay, we can attack now." Beta wiped the sweat on his forehead and said, "Let's stick to the plan. Shirley and I will lead the vanguard, and Kati will surround and search the Temple of Light. Don't hold back if you run into any priests."

Shirley walked to Beta's side and gently hugged his arm, but in fact, she was supporting him.

Because of the huge consumption of mental power, Beta's hands and feet were temporarily weak.

Shirley secretly put an obsidian ring on Beta's finger. The ring was a magic gem that the descendant of Phoenix left when he killed Parker and burned his evil soul. Wearing it could slowly recover the wearer's mental power.

Beta took one step at a time and didn't seem to be out of the ordinary. His Constitution was 10.5, and so was his willpower. His physical fitness was excellent, and his mental power recovered quickly. Now, with the help of the obsidian ring, Beta had recovered more than half of his mental power by the time they reached the front gate of the Temple of Light.

Then, Beta gave the ring back to Shirley.

Before them was the gate of the Temple of Light. Except for Beta, everybody else looked at it with strange expressions.

It was because the gate of the Temple of Light had been completely broken.

A dozen Priests of the Temple of Light, both male and female, were standing at the gate. They were glaring at Beta and the others angrily.

No matter who encountered such a thing, they wouldn't have any good expressions towards the invaders.

"Guards of the Order, divide into two teams and surround the Temple of Light." Although Katie didn't know much about politics, his ability to lead troops was quite good. "Kill anyone who comes out of there."

Beta said to Shirley, "Let's go in, but I'll leave the enemies at the gate to you."

Shirley let go of Betta's hands and smiled sweetly. She then turned her head and flicked her finger at the priests at the door above her.

Then, the Priests immediately covered their heads and fell to the ground, shaking their heads hard, as if they were trying to get rid of something in their heads.

Those who fell to the ground, on the other hand, writhed in pain.

Shirley was good at mental attacks. Since the Priests weren't high-level, they couldn't withstand her mental blasts at all.

"The people of the Temple of Light are much weaker than I thought."

Saying that, Beta walked into the Temple of Light first.

After he passed the gate, the first thing he saw was the enormous statue of the Goddess of Light.

The Goddess of Light had a sexy figure. She held a spear in her right hand and a fireball in her left hand!

"Goddess of Light is useless!"

Beta grumbled about the game and continued forward.

The Temple of Light covered a large area, so it was naturally spacious inside. Beta walked on. Occasionally, a Priest charged out and tried to fight Beta, but they couldn't get past Shirley. She could turn them into lunatics who could only roll on the ground with a mental blast.

Beta wondered at first why the defense of the Temple of Light was so weak, but after a while, he saw four priests bleeding to death in an aisle, and finally understood what was going on.
