Noble Emblem

A young Brave walked out of his village, gathered companions to his side, defeated the Great Demon King, became famous, then came back with beauties in hand! This was a legend that appears in the world of Seyrol every 200 years! Our protagonist, however, isn’t a Brave. Even so, for over a thousand years his figure has loomed throughout its history. Unwittingly, the name of the Red Priest began to resound throughout the world. Red Priest’s legend included extraordinary sword techniques and magic, erudite knowledge, and an almost prophetic ability to lead young Braves toward the proper path. People of the world think of him as a descendent of the ancient Golden Race which led to his omnipotence. In essence, however, this was just the characteristics of the profession known as ‘Noble’. A word from the fabulousest translator/editor on Earth which is me I took upon this translation/editing project for the same reason I started translating my first Chinese novel. There are just too many big ass gems buried in a deep cesspool. I've long guessed that Qidian stopped introducing good Chinese novels on this platform in order to give some breathing room for English (and other) originals, but I don't agree with such approach. From a reader's standpoint, it is such a shame that we don't even know how many brilliant works we are missing because of the language barrier. To be honest, I'm mainly copypasting from the site called Novelhi. It is a really good resource and their machine translation is the best I've seen so far, and they also translate up to the latest available chapter. Still, they have several issues. For some reason they always miss the last paragraph which make you can missout on a potentially very important information related to a story, and they also have parts where just a couple of words gets repeated for a whole paragraph and it actually replaces the original text. They also translate an ad together with a chapter which is immersion breaking. I'll be correcting the inherent sins of such MTL with manual editing and translation and I will also polish some rough edges so that the readers will have as much seemless reading experience as possible. You will definitely have a better time reading this than me for sure

Helpless Beta

Beta had two wives, twins to be exact.

They looked exactly the same, and the only difference was their hair color. The blonde one was Blondie and the silver one was Whitey.

Beta had been with them for a long time … and had unlocked almost all the positions. Among them, his favorite was hugging Whitey from behind, kissing her long silver hair and smooth back.

And now, Beta's will was starting to blur. He looked at the butterfly lady beneath him. Her long silver hair kept swaying in front of his eyes, and her smooth waist kept twisting, teasing his mind. In his daze, he seemed to see his wife, Whitey!

"Whitey! I missed you so much. "

Beta watched as the illusions in his vision and mind began to overlap. He kissed the silver in front of him, and then kissed his way down. Then, he let go of the woman's hands. He no longer locked her up. Instead, he began to hold her chest and slowly caress it.

The woman beneath him suddenly stopped struggling, or rather, she no longer had any strength to struggle.

In a daze, Beta habitually did what he did in the past. He murmured Whitey and Blondie's names, and then pressed his body down heavily.

To Beta, the happiest thing in the world was to find Whitey and Blondie. The scariest thing was to treat someone as Whitey … and do something he shouldn't have.

When Beta woke up, he found himself lying on the butterfly lady's body. The position was very indecent, and what was even more indecent was that his lower body was also naked.

Even an idiot knew what a naked woman and a naked man would do.

Beta felt an unprecedented burden on his conscience. He retreated from some warm place, and just as he was about to speak, he saw the butterfly lady flip her upper body over.

He instinctively jumped back, thinking that the woman was going to attack him, but he saw her sit up unhurriedly. She looked at her private parts, and then kept staring at Beta.

Beta felt that he was a very thick-skinned person, but under her gaze, he felt a rare sense of shame.

The butterfly lady stood up. "I don't want the spring water anymore."

She left such an unimportant sentence, then flapped her wings and flew away.

It was already night time, and the butterfly lady's body was emitting a faint fluorescent glow. She was holy and noble, as though she was a goddess.

Beta stared at her in a daze. He didn't know if he should ask the butterfly lady to stay … After standing in a daze for a while, Beta let out a long sigh.

"What's there to sigh about? I took advantage of you for no reason."

Shirley squatted on the edge of the pit.

Looking at Beta in the pit, he said sourly, "Could it be that Master regrets not coming here again?"

Beta was shocked. "Shirley, you're still here?"

"Of course I'm here," Shirley said with a confused look, "Of course I can't just abandon you, Master. However, because of this, I was able to watch a good show. I didn't expect Master's endurance to be so good … You don't know, that butterfly lady's voice was almost … "

"Stop it." Beta interrupted her without hesitation. "Shirley, since you were here, why didn't you stop me?"

"Why should I stop you, Master?" Shirley said with a puzzled expression, "Although I'm not the one serving you, I can't possibly interrupt your enjoyment. Moreover, before I came down, the goddess said that it's my duty to make you feel comfortable and happy. As long as I can make you happy, it doesn't matter if it's me or not. Of course … if Master can use my scabbard more often, I'll be even happier. "

It had to be said that Beta felt that Shirley really didn't have any common sense … If Emma, Kail, and the others were here, they would definitely stop him, Beta thought confidently.

Fortunately, this was only seen by Shirley. If anyone else had seen this, Beta felt that he wouldn't be able to live anymore.

He crawled out of the pit on all fours and said, "Don't say anything about this, understand?"

"If Master allows me to serve you in bed at night, I won't say anything."

Beta looked at Shirley coldly and said, "I think you're asking for a beating!"

"Actually, I'm asking for that!" Shirley covered her blushing face and twisted her waist, looking at Beta bashfully.

Although Shirley often said sexy things, for some reason, Beta felt that Shirley was easier to get along with than Emma and the others.

Naturally, Beta wouldn't allow Shirley to climb into his bed. After reminding Shirley not to say anything, he returned to the inn in Bronze Drum City.

Although it was already late when he returned to the inn, none of the six students had dinner and were waiting for Beta.

In Hollevin, it was an unshakable tradition to wait for the teacher to eat first.

While he was eating, Beta found that the students had been staring at him. Finding it odd, he examined his clothes and asked, "What's wrong with you?"

"Master, what's that on you? It smells so good."

One of the students couldn't help but ask. Beta found it odd and sniffed himself. "I don't smell anything."

The other five students quickly said, "Yes, yes, yes. We all smell it."

Beta looked at Shirley, and Shirley shook her head. She didn't smell it, either.

Beta was slightly confused. He didn't think that his students would lie, but neither he nor Shirley smelled anything, so something must be wrong.

He immediately went to the hotel and asked the waiter to prepare a hot bath. Then, he found that the waiter who talked to him would sniff and take deep breaths now and then, as if he were very comfortable. He knew that the waiter had smelled the fragrance on him too.

Very soon, the bath water was delivered. After washing himself carefully, Beta asked a few students to confirm it, but the fragrance was still lingering on him without any sign of diminishing.

He turned on the system and checked his status one by one. Finally, he found a very informative clue.

In his talent column, he found an additional skill: Radiant Butterfly Queen's Spouse.

Radiant Butterfly Queen's Spouse: You're very lucky to be the Radiant Butterfly Queen's spouse. To declare her sovereignty, the Radiant Butterfly Queen has placed a special fragrance on you that will never dissipate. Any intelligent creature that smells this fragrance will have a natural ten points more favorable impression of you.

Seeing this, Beta's thoughts were stuck.

The Radiant Butterfly Queen and the woman who kept asking him to return the spring water. It would be strange if he couldn't figure out the reason behind such obvious clues.

Beta really didn't expect the butterfly lady to be the long lost Radiant Butterfly Queen. Also, he didn't expect that he would do something to an insect …

What happened between him and the mayor's wife was just a soul and not a real relationship.

But it was different this time. He had done something to a woman other than Whitey and Blondie, and this woman was a female insect.

For the next few days, Beta was in a listless state. What had happened to him was simply too exaggerated. He couldn't understand why he would do such a thing.

This situation lasted until Kati arrived.

Some time ago, after Kati received the funds from Beta, she went out to set up the foundation of the Inquisition. Now, after so long, she finally had some achievements. After learning from Belin that Beta had arrived at Bronze Drum City, she rushed over with a few people.

Katie was still as beautiful as ever … Looking at her face that resembled Fan Bingbing, Beta almost remembered what happened in the game. But he quickly stopped his wild thoughts and said with a smile, "Seven team members, all of them pretty strong. Thank you for your hard work."

Katie smiled and accepted Beta's praise.

But some people were very dissatisfied with his behavior. Among the seven members, there was a man wearing a black hooded cloak and holding a black spear. He snorted coldly and said in a low voice, "Pretentious noble sissy. He actually put on perfume all over his body."

Beta was in a bad mood because of the Radiant Butterfly Queen. Hearing this, he tilted his head and said, "Why don't we spar?"

"Let's spar, I'm not afraid of you!" The man in the black hooded cloak stabbed his spear into the ground and said, "It's boring if we just fight. Let's have a bet. What if we win? What if we lose?"

"I don't have much of anything except money. I'm a noble after all! " After a sarcastic remark, Beta said, "If I lose, I'll give you a hundred gold coins. If I win, you'll have to lower your head when you see me in the past, understand?"

"Yes, as you wish." Hearing that there was money to be won, the cloaked man seemed very excited.

Katie introduced, "This person is somewhat famous in the mercenary world. His nickname is Death Prayer. It's said that he has never failed any mission."

"It doesn't matter. Let's get some exercise."

The outcome was obvious. The person nicknamed Death Prayer lost three rounds in a row and was beaten swollen by Beta.

Katie covered her mouth and laughed. She really hoped that Beta could help her teach these team members. After all, these team members were quite strong, but they were somewhat arrogant.

Katie was an assassin and wasn't good at fighting head-on. She didn't have much of a chance of winning against these team members.

But Beta was different.

The harder Beta beat up these people's pride, the easier it would be for Katie to take them in and teach them in the future.

Katie looked at Death Prayer being carried away. Even with the help of healing magic, this kind of injury would probably take thirty-six hours to fully recover.

Katie looked at Beta with a strange expression on her face: "Why have you started using perfume recently? No, it doesn't match your personality at all. And you are still a man, using this thing will not have a good effect on our temple."
