He has no right

"How can you let your mistress run off with someone like that?" Logan growled at the maids that were blankly looking at him. They watched Logan start to pace on the balcony as if he owned it. His face was red with anger as he cursed and hissed.

Shyla bit the inside of her cheek trying to keep calm as Kanene just watched him.

"Lord Logan, forgive my rudeness, but she did tell you that she had plans today."Kanene said to the pacing man. Logan stopped pacing. He looked as if he was going to hit her but was stopped by the coldness in her eyes."If you weren't here then Mr. Sol and My Lady won't have to take the balcony."

"Mr.Sol?" Logan asked in disbelief.

"Lady Abidemi's close friend." Shyla said to him. Logan bit his lips as she cocked her head. " Honestly Lord Logan. It really isn't any of your business. Maybe if you just go home."

"Why should I?" Logan growled.

"Because you haven't spoken to my sister in fifteen years in favor of Mila." Eden called out as he walked into the room. Logan, Shyla, and Kanene looked over to see Eden glaring at Logan. He was still dressed in his training outfit and his sword was still by his hip. His usual off-blue eyes were now glowing as he walked in the room. " You have some nerves bursting in here and yelling at her personal maids like that. Turning up uninvited even."

Logan glared at Eden as he walked towards him. "You are not saying anything about her personal maids letting her be taken away by some maniac."

"Mr.Sol is a bit of a free spirit but at least he announced through a letter that he's coming by. Unlike you. Also, Kanene and Shyla have no reason to stop him if my sister trusts him," Eden pointed out.

Logan let out a small laugh. "You know that scoundrel?"

" I have met him a few times when he visits Abidemi, yes." Eden said to him. Logan frowned deeply. Eden closed his eyes as he let out a long sigh. "Daisy is also aware of him as well."

Eden looked at one of the servants by the door. "Walk Lord Logan out please." he said to one of the servants. They nodded their heads as they walked over to the angry man.

Logan swatted them away and glared at Eden. "I could walk myself out." Logan said quietly as he quickly left the room.

Eden sighed as he looked over to Kanene and Shyla watching him from their spots on the balcony. "I'm sorry I couldn't get here sooner."

"It's alright, Lord Eden. We understand that you are very busy." Kanene said with a small bow. Shyla bowed as well as he sighed before walking over to them.

" Honestly, what got into him? He never cared for Abidemi up til now." Eden said out loud.

"Lady Abidemi just sent him a letter and told him that she was leaving." Shyla said as she crossed her arms. Kanene nodded her head in agreement. "Even yesterday he came here unannounced after he received it."

Eden sighed as he rubbed the bridge of his nose. "I'm going to have to tell my father about this matter. Maybe not about Mr.Sol. He isn't aware of him." Kanene and Shyla nodded their heads in understanding as Eden bowed to them. " Sorry for the intrusions."

"It's fine, Lord Eden."Kanene said to him. Eden stood up and smiled warmly at them. "Are you staying long?" Eden shook his head before placing his hand on his sword. Eden smiled.

" No. I don't want to trouble all of you." Eden said to them. "Thank you for having me."

Kanene and Shyla nodded their heads as Eden left the room. They all sighed. "Well, that was exhausting." Shyla said while she went to clean up. Kanene followed after her.

"To think. Lord Logan will act this way because our Lady wants to leave." Kanene said with a long sigh. She goes to fix up the vanity table as Shyla fixes up the bed. "I swear I don't know what is wrong with him."

"I don't think we ever would." Shyla said while she shrugged her shoulders. Kanene and Shyla left the room. Kanene locked the door as they walked down the hall. "You know our Lady shut out from idle gossip and rumors after the ones started of her being a vicious woman."

"The one time she lost her temper and it tainted her reputation." Kanene said with a sigh.

"I have never been so grateful for Lady Daisy and Lord Eden. If it wasn't for them then I think our lady would be quite lonely." Shyla said with a smile. Her eyes twitched. "And Lord Logan thinks he has the right to burst in here as he did."

"If the circumstances were different, he probably would have been carried out of the room." Kanene said as they walked. Shyla sighed.

"I'll believe it." Shyla said. Kanene hummed. She looked over to Kanene who was thinking. "Thinking about something?"

"Just hoping that our Lady will have a good time. She needs a lot of good memories on her last days here. Why not spend it with people who care about her?" Kanene said with a warm smile. Shyla laughed as she shook her head.

"Well, here's to hoping nothing else comes up." Shyla said while she crossed her arms.

"Here's to hoping."Kanene repeated.

Logan burst into the main estate as the servants flinched from his sudden entrance. They steer clear of him as he walks up the stairs and travels down the halls. His dark blue eyes were burning as he made his way to the Duke's study. He turned the corner. Then he collided with someone. Logan was going to yell once he saw that it was just Mila. His anger quickly melted as he quickly kneel down to help. "Princess Mila. I'm very sorry. I didn't see you there."

Mila only gave him a pleasant smile as she took Logan's hand. "It's alright. I was the one that didn't look where I was going." she said. She held on to his hand. She looked at Logan with a warm smile as she touched her lips. "I hope I didn't hurt you."

"You could never hurt me, Princess." Logan said while he looked at her warmly.

"Where are you going in such a hurry?" Mila asked him as she placed her hand on his arm.

Logan frowned deeply as he closed his eyes. "I was going to see your father about something important." Mila looked up at him as she smiled.

"What's the important matter?" Mila asked him. Logan only sighed as he rubbed the back of his head. Mila cocked her head as she looked at him with light gold eyes. They shined as Logan sighed.

"Nothing you should trouble yourself with." Logan said. Mila pouted at him as she pulled his arm closer to her. He looked at Mila before looking at her warmly. "Why aren't you at your princess lessons?"

"Oh. I decided to take a break today." Mila said with a small frown. She rested her head on Logan's shoulder. "There is so much work and I'm not really good at that stuff."

Logan laughed a bit. "I know it's hard work Mila but it's something that you have to learn." he said to her warmly. Mila sighed.

"Isn't basic etiquette enough? I was able to do that at the ball the other night." Mila said with a frown. Logan sighed and pat her head.

" Yes, you were." he said as he frowned slightly. He closed his eyes. He could hear the small whispers that the guests were making about her flaws, the many mistakes, and sometimes the unintelligent way that she spoke. He wasn't even sure if Mila heard those gossip since she was so into Theodore at the time.

"See. Why would I need to learn etiquette when I could do it perfectly?" Mila said to him as she pulled away from his arm. Logan was going to correct her but Mila dragged him along. "I have an idea. Let's have some tea. Mother brought a lovely blend that was all the rage in the Sulux Empire."

Logan sighed as he watched Mila. She looked so happy. Maybe he could hold off correcting her and indulge her. Just a little bit.
