"Thank you, Shyla. Thank you, Kanene." Abidemi said as she hugged her maids. Then she goes back to twirling around. Kanene and Shyla only laughed. Watching their lady so happy as Abidemi hummed to herself.

They picked a light blue short sleeve button-down shirt. She had a big red bow in the middle of it. She wore a pleated red dress with blue flowered decorations and dark brown shoes. She had a red rose at the side of her head and her braids were decorated with small red beads.

"Your welcome, my lady. We always love to see you happy." Kanene said as Abidemi looked over to smile at the two. She walked over to Kanene and Shyla and took their hands.

" No, seriously. Thank you. Both of you are the best." Abidemi said with a big smile.

Shyla only frowned deeply. "Please, what maid doesn't want to see their mistress happy."

"Well, you could have a much better mistress." Abidemi said with a laugh. "What kind of Lady am I? I'm going off to spend the whole afternoon to see some man that I have met a few times."

Kanene smiled warmly at Abidemi as she touched her head. "You're a good one, my lady."

Shyla nodded her head in understanding. "A far better one than most."

Abidemi giggled and smiled warmly at the two maids. "How would you know, I'm the only one you served?"

"Oh. We know." Shyla said with a smile. Abidemi arched an eyebrow at Shyla. " Trust us. You're a great mistress."

Abidemi blinked and smiled at the two. "I don't deserve you two."

There was a sudden knock on the door as Abidemi, Shyla and Kanene looked over to the servant that was by the door. Abidemi blinked before asking. "Is Burning Sol here?" Abidemi asked as she tried to keep the excitement from her voice.

"No, my lady. Logan of Blacklake is here." the servant said, which made Abidemi instantly frown.

Abidemi crossed her arms as she let out a sigh. I told him that I didn't want to see him and that I was going to be busy. Why is he here?" she said to herself. She sighed. She closed her eyes and crossed her arms. "No matter. Tell him that I am busy and I don't want to see him."

The servant nodded his head as he quickly left the room.

"Seriously, what could he possibly want now? Wasn't yesterday's visit enough." Shyla said as Abidemi walked out into the balcony. Shyla looked at Abidemi blankly. Abidemi looked as if she was calculating something. Shyla walked over to her lady. "My lady, what are you thinking?"

"I was just wondering how far I could jump from here to that nearby tree." Abidemi said, which made Shyla's eye twitch and Kanene sighed. Shyla quickly grabbed Abidemi by the arm and pulled her inside. "What?"

" No way. Not after we got you all dressed up and cleaned up for that mongrel."Shyla said to Abidemi. Kanene placed a hand on Abidemi's shoulder.

"Plus, you haven't jumped on trees since you were a little girl. I don't even think that you could jump that far." Kanene explained to Abidemi. Abidemi frowned deeply.

"Then what am I supposed to do?" Abidemi said while crossing her arms. She looked at the balcony with a deep frown. "I don't want to see him at all. I also don't want there to be any misunderstandings if Burning Sol happens to see him here."

'I don't think Burning Sol will care. But Lord Logan could be a problem.' Shyla tried to think as she crossed her arms. She looked at Kanene. "Does this place have any secret passageways?"

" I heard from some old maids and butlers that they were but they probably led to the forest." Kanene said. Shyla made a face as Kanene just shrugged her shoulders. "It wouldn't be a good idea to use it if we want our lady to be all nice and clean for her outing."

"How about the servant exit?" Abidemi asked, which made Shyla nod her head. Kanene frowned and shook her head. "Why not?"

"The walk around will be quite long and there is a gate blocking the way. No one has a key for it, remember." Kanene said while crossing her arms.

"Oh yeah. That blasted gate." Abidemi said. She looked up at the ceiling.

"What about a gate?" A young man's voice called out into the room. Abidemi stiffed as she quickly turned around to see a man leaning against the door.

Dressed in a dark button-down short sleeve shirt with dark brown baggy pants. He had a black sash over his left shoulder. He wore a dark reddish brown fitted mask over his warm brown eyes. His glistening tanned brown skin was light with sweat and his long black hair ran down her back.

It took everything in Abidemi to not run over to him and give him a big hug. Telling herself that she wasn't in Elov and she needed to be a proper lady.

"How did you get in here, Lord Sol?" Kanene asked the man. She had a pleasant smile on her face but her voice was strained a bit.

"Oh. I broke a gate." Burning Sol said with a big grin. He pushed off the door and walked into the room.

Shyla face palmed herself while Kanene chews her lips. Abidemi shook her head and crossed her arms in front of her chest. She walked over to Burning Sol with a stern look on her face.

Sol gave her an amused smile. "What's wrong, Demi? Not happy to see me."

"Oh. I'm very happy to see you but you shouldn't come into a lady's room unannounced. Or break into her property. Or break her property." Abidemi said while she scolded him. She tried to ignore the lovesick smile on his face. Feeling her face burning, she cleared her throat. " Also you should wait until I come down."

" Awww, Demi. It didn't even sound like you wanted to come downstairs." he said while looking at her. Abidemi looked at him. "And I certainly didn't want to talk to that angry-looking friend of yours."

"That man isn't my friend. He and I are just strangers. Have been for years." Abidemi said while looking at him. "If anything, he shouldn't even be here since I told him I have plans."

"Correct me if I'm wrong since I don't know Valtis customs that well. Isn't that rude?" Burning Sol asked her.

Abidemi smiled a bit. "Yes. Very rude. All I did was send him a letter about me leaving Valtis and staying in Elov indefinitely. I don't know why he would react that way."

Burning Sol smiled at her. "So you're finally moving to Elov, Demi." he asked. Abidemi noticed his smile and nodded her head. He laughed as he suddenly pulled her into a hug. Shyla and Kanene stiffen as they moved to stop them but relaxed when Abidemi hugged him back. "This is wonderful news, Demi."

Abidemi giggled and nodded her head. "That's good that you think so. I wanted to tell you as soon as possible but I don't know how to contact you." she pulled away from him and looked up at him. "After all, you're the one that usually contacts me."

"I have a reason for that, Demi. Hopefully, if things go well on my end. You and I will have no problem sending each other letters." he said with a warm smile.

Abidemi blinked at him and smiled. "I would like that very much, Sol."

Burning Sol looked like he wanted to say something until the sound of yelling could be heard from down the hall. "Lord Logan, Lady Abidemi said that she didn't want to see you. That she was very busy."

"I don't care." Logan's voice could be heard from the hallway as Abidemi frowned deeply. She looked very uncomfortable as she clenched onto Sol's shirt.

Sol noticed this before picking her up. He carried her like a princess as Abidemi gasped and wrapped her arms around his neck. He walked over to the balcony. Shyla and Kanene blocked his path as they glared at him. "Come on ladies. I am not dealing with that fellow."

"You're not jumping off this balcony with our lady in your arms." Shyla barked. Yet Burning Sol only looked at her.

"Well, there is no other way. Besides, I don't think Demi wants to deal with him right now." Burning Sol said while Shyla just glared at him. "Come on. You know I'll never let her get hurt."

Shyla was going to fight back but Abidemi spoke up. "Please Shyla. I really really don't wanna face Logan right now." Abidemi pleaded to her maid.

Shyla faltered a bit. She looked like she was going to say something but Kanene touched her shoulder. "Kanene."

"Abidemi! Come out. We need to talk."Logan yelled loudly.

Shyla and Kanene sighed as they moved out of the way. Abidemi smiled at her two maids and grinned. "Thank you."

"Yeah. Yeah." Shyla said with a wave of her hand.

"Oh. Burning Sol." Kanene called out, causing Burning Sol to look at the maid. "Our lady better return in one piece. I don't care who you are if she's hurt in any way. I'll end you."

Burning Sol gulped as he nodded his head quickly. Then he quickly headed to the balcony with Shyla and Kanene close behind them. Burning Sol climbed over the ledge and looked at Abidemi before asking. "Ready to go. Demi."

Abidemi nodded her head quickly before saying. "Of course." she said to him. Burning Sol smiled at her again.

Just then Logan burst into the room with many maids and servants behind him. He stopped short when he saw Burning Sol holding Abidemi.

Burning Sol turned to smirk at him before jumping off the balcony. Logan cursed as he ran over to the balcony to see that Burning Sol had jumped onto a tree with Abidemi in his arms. Burning Sol gave him a small salute before hopping off to another tree with Abidemi in tow.

There is a reason for Logan's behavior, he's just not aware of it.
