"You sons of bitches are disgusting!"

Not a single person there wasn't surprised at Haruto's unexpected reaction.

Ken was surprised and confused at first, but the moment he realized what had just happened to him, he shouted in anger.

"Argh! What the hell are you all doing?! Kill him!"

The group looked at each other before forming fists and rushing at Haruto all at the same time

Shit! I have to-!

Before I could intervene, the sound of flesh being pierced was heard. Two of the people had their stomachs pierced by something long.

Haruto, with the long item in hand, took it out of the two stomachs and now the long item was in full view.

It was a spear. It was an actual spear with a white blade covered in blood.

"Ahhh!! It hurts!!"

"Somebody help me!!"

"What the?!"

"He has a weapon!!"

All of them took a couple of steps back, feeling intimidated that Haruto now had a weapon.

"Dammit! Everyone, take out your knives and use your skills to kill this fucker!"

They then all took out a pocket knife and used a skill.

I didn't know what skill they used, but seeing as how they were weaker than that guy, it couldn't be anything special.

Once again, they all rushed to Haruto at a slightly faster speed. I couldn't take it anymore and so I dug my fist into one of the people rushing in.

"Ackk!!"

The attack was so powerful that the person I hit vomited blood, and was sent flying 20 meters.

"W-Who is he?!"

"How is he that strong?!!"

They once again back away even more than before.

I asked Haruto a question.

"Hey, how did you get that?"

I pointed at the spear Haruto had in hand.

He answered immediately.

"I bought from the shop."

Shop?

"Ah, ah, what the hell!!"

"Ken, what should we do-"

The one that shouted Ken's name was cut off by a decapitation of his own head.

Everyone looked at the culprit wielding a machete.

"Ken, what are you doing?!"

"Haha!! All of you are too weak! I don't need any of you anymore! But before I kill all of you. I have to take care of our heroic guests here."

"Grraauuu!!"

[Ken Acker is using Roar!]

[Mental Control is neutralizing the effects of Roar!]

It looked like my skill [Mental Control] protected me from his [Roar]. Although it only protected me.

As I looked at the students, they all had the same face of terror. Even Haruto was petrified by the skill.

"Haha! That should stop you from moving for a while... Huh?

He looked at me with confused eyes and smiled.

"Hehe, we have an interesting one here."

I stared at the machete he was spinning around.

He still isn't making a move. He must be cautious of me. I have to be quick.

Open up the shop.

So there really is a shop.

The moment after the message, pixels started to manifest in the air as it also started to create the thing I bought. And there it was.

It had a long blade with a white and red color scheme, with a purple aura coming out of the blade. It shone brightly in the air.

I grabbed the hilt of the sword that auto-generated a sheath on my waist.

I looked up at Ken, who was watching everything, and only scoffed.

"I don't know what you did, nor do I care!"

[Ken Acker is using Enhanced Strength!]

After activating his skill, he started to rush me with the machete.

Of course, I'd never held a sword before, so naturally, I didn't know how to use it. Thankfully, there were some skills that helped me in this situation.

[Blade Competence is in use!]

When Ken was about two meters away from me, ready to swing his weapon at me.

[Ken Acker is using Death Slash!]

The blade of the machete emitted an ominous, red aura.

Ken swung down the machete, and just as it met the halfway mark, blood spurted out of his non-attached fingers.

"Huh?"

The four fingers flew into the air until they fell onto the ground, along with the clanging of a metal object, which was the machete in those very fingers.

"Ah....! Ahhhhh!!"

Ken fell onto his knees as he screams out.

"What did you-!!"

Before he could finish, I used my 1000 strength to kick at his face.

"Urk...!! P-Please... stop... Urk!!"

I continued to give him a series of powerful kicks, although I didn't want him to lose consciousness yet, so I held back my strength on the kick after the first one.

"Urk...!! Urk...!! Urk....!!"

His face was covered in his own blood after five kicks from me.

"P-P-Please... I-I'll stop my ways!"

[Detection is in use!]

[Ken Acker has spoken a lie.]

"I promise!!"

[Lie!]

"I-I'll never do this again!

[Lie!]

"I'll let them go!"

[Lie!]

He kept on spouting lies and lies again.

I grabbed his face and spoke to him.

"Were you the one that killed those people!?"

I pointed at the eight dead bodies with my sword.

Ken took a moment before responding back.

"N-No! I didn't!"

[Lie!]

I knew he was going to lie, yet I still asked him that. Perhaps I said that, so I didn't feel bad about slashing him into two parts the next moment.

"W... Why...?"

Ken fell to the ground with lifeless eyes.

[Acquired 10 points!]

I looked back at the people behind me. No longer under the effects of [Roar]. All the students of To Middle School, that were standing now, didn't have eyes that contained fear, but instead eyes that look as if they were seeing their savior.

"H-He saved us!"

"Ken is dead!"

"We're free now!"

They were all exclaiming voices of relief and joy.

I then remembered something and looked in a different direction, and saw the rest of Ken's group running off into the streets.

Then a hand was placed on my shoulder.

"Don't worry about them. They'll probably die eventually."

It was Haruto.

I wanted to say something back, but the sound of a system message interrupted me.
