Vanessa stared at the priest like he had gone insane.

"you knew the King got the wrong girl and you did nothing about it?" She asks raising her eyebrows.

"was I to force the King?" Sanchez asks her

Silence reigns,he was right about it,no one could tell the King what to do besides he knew he was wrong but decided to walk into his grave.

"The king didn't need me" Vanessa says sadly.

"you didn't need him either but now the people need you"

"I want to become a vampire" She says

"I trust you thought very well before making that decision" Sanchez asks.

"if you see the this decision would not be good for me and my people you speak because unlike the King I am willing to listen to you"

Sanchez stayed still and quiet it was obvious he was making communication with the ancestors.

"It won't change your destiny Queen, The Devil's mistress needs you now more than ever if she wants to free herself as well as every soul that has reincarnated before her"

"The Devil cannot be killed priest,what are you talking about?"

"I never asked you to kill the Devil,I only said she'd need your help to break loose of the Devil's hold"

"when do we start the process of turning?"

"Now if you wish but she has to be here"

Ethan who had been quiet for a long time turned to stare at the priest.

"why is her presence needed priest?" He asks.

"they are sisters by blood and destiny,their lives go hand in hand"

"I don't understand"

Vanessa didn't understand the priest either,was there something they had no idea about?

"If Vanessa turns am afraid Silvana will too" The priest shrugs.

"what is going on here?" Ethan asks.

"If Vanessa dies, Silavana will die to,am certain that is why the Devil did not harm you when he kidnapped you earlier,he wanted to inflict pain on you but he knew if he inflicted and physical injures on you his mate would feel it too"

Ethan shook his head in shock,it couldn't be what he was thinking. Besides the prophecy didn't speak about them sharing one life unless....

"Grand ma,but if the prophecy isn't true what's going to happen?" Little Ethan asks.

"Nothing dear,It would only mean there's nothing like the Devil and the Vampires wouldn't have a Queen either" She shrugs.

Little Ethan shook his head,all these while he had been friends with the current King and Queen he saw the way they loved each other, could it be?

"Grandma"

"Yes child?"

"Aren't our King and Queen mates?"

"They are dear, Vampires have mate remember?"

"But the King's mate is supposed to be sister to the Devil's cursed mistress"

"wise boy, the Queen is the only child of her parents,she has no sibling"

"no hidden one ma?"

"none my boy"

"So she isn't the said Vampire Queen?"

The elderly woman shook her head,she couldn't possibly explain it to her little grandchild things even immortals didn't understand.

"she is dear but her powers are dormant,like she doesn't even have them"

"because her sister was never born. Her mother aborted her sister before she was born to get rid of the prophecy"

"the prophecy isn't that bad ma"

"well no mother would want her child to be stuck with the Devil forever or to turn evil so yes the prophecy is bad that's why the Queen's mother thought it was better her daughter was never born than to have her suffer in life"

"if her daughter was born she would have been the death of her elder sister,the minute she is born her life and fate would be sealed with her sister's"

Silence reigns as little Ethan tried hard to understand what his Grandmother had just said.
