Chapter 65

The Vampires were gathered beneath them as they stood on a podium,they were oblivious to the fact that there King was dead.

Brutally murded.

By a man everyone believed was a myth.

The Devil.

"Ethan, greater than the King...why do you call for us all and where is our King...he is to join us here"

"That's why I summoned you all here,to give you the news" Ethan says with authority.

"What news?" An elderly Vampire asks.

Silence envelopes the whole arena as everyone waits patiently for what he was about to say.

"This is our Queen...we just found out that as the prophecy says we had crowned her sister Queen instead" Ethan says referring to Silavana and Vanessa.

They look confused at a minute and the next they are bowing to Vanessa and apologizing to her.

Just like that Silavana had seized to be the Queen in their eyes and Vanessa had taken her place

"Send for the King so we can appease the priest and conduct another coronation" The same Elderly Vampire says.

Vanessa moves making Ethan shrink back at her show of power.

"Our King,my mate had gone to save me from the clutches of our arc enemy the Devil but couldn't make it" Vanessa says boldly.

Gasps are heard as the words begin to sink into them.

"The Devil tortured him slowly so that I could feel the pain as well and then killed him" Vanessa adds.

Silence reigns.

Sadness and pain begin to cloud all their minds,it became obvious on their faces,some began to cry while some said their condolences to Vanessa.

"I want to appease my pain does anyone want to?" Vanessa yells.

They all stop to look at her confusedly before they echo.

"Yes"

"We know who killed our King,we will come together as one and take revenge for our King's death"

"Yess"

"We will destroy the Devil"

"Yess"

Ethan turns to Silavana who looks at him speechless as well.

"I think the Vampires has found their new leader" Ethan whispers.

"You think?"

"Who is in charge of turning? I would like to become a vampire for you all...so that my strength could increase and we could take down the Devil" Vanessa says

"We'll send for the Priest...he did it some time back" Someone says.

"Very well".

The priest doesn't take long to arrive at the palace,he smiles slightly seeing Vanessa and Silavana.

"Why am I here?" The priest asks.

"Take a seat priest,I presume you knew the King would die,you didn't pre-inform us or even try to stop it why?" Vanessa asks.

"Who said I didn't inform anyone?" the priest asks.

"Did you?"

"I told the Vampire King that he had the wrong girl,that is not m fault if her chose to not heed my advices" He says.

"Do you know why I called you here?" Vanessa asks.

"Am I an ancestor? I only know what they want me to know so no"

"Did you know I would return?" Vanessa asks.

"I did"
