Ch 137 : Konoha sides

Time flew and a few months had passed from the time when Sanada leave Konoha.

In these past few months, not much happened inside of Konoha.

Everything was still peaceful but for some reason the atmosphere in Konoha today was pretty different.

The reason was none other than the Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, finally woke up from his coma. And after he woke up from his coma, the first thing he did was to come to Tsunade.

- Inside the Hokage's office -

Inside the Hokage's office, Tsunade, accompanied by Jiraiya on his side, now had a few familiar figures sitting in her opposite direction.

Namely: Her teacher, Sarutobi Hiruzen, Danzo, Homura, and Koharu.

The F4 that has corrupted Konoha for so long now was sitting right in front of Tsunade, and they seemed to have something to discuss with her.

" So, what's the important matter for you all to come to my office?"

Tsunade asked with a frown on her face. For some reason, even though the person in front of her was her own teacher, she didn't really have a good feeling about this.

Instead, she had a bad premonition, which was also why she called back Jiraiya who was still wandering around with Naruto.

Looking at the frown on Tsunade's face, Hiruzen tried to calm down the tense atmosphere a bit.

" Umm.. Well, Tsunade it's been-"

But before he could even finish his words, Danzo had cut him first.

" Tsunade, explain. What do you mean by this!"

Said Danzo as he threw a scroll at Tsunade.

It was the same everyday scroll that Shinobi used to record information. But for some reason, because it was given by Danzo, Tsunade felt there was something wrong with this.

She glanced at both Hiruzen and Jiraiya before she slowly opened the scroll.

Tsunade then read the information recorded in the scroll carefully, but the more she read about it, the more she couldn't believe what she had seen in the scroll.

The scroll actually didn't contain that much content. It was just a paragraph describing Sanada's unclear relationship with Temari.

It was just a guess and might be a false alarm, but for a Kage-level ninja in the village to have an unclear relationship with someone from another village, this could already be a major topic of discussion between the higher-ups. Especially when the person is the daughter of another Village Kazekage.

Now Tsunade could see why these guys wanted to come here and have a discussion with her as soon as possible. They really didn't want her to get in contact with Sanada to clarify things and wanted to use this content as one-sided blackmail.

Tsunade could only smile wryly about this.

One thing is that she had been caught by these old bastards, and the other was because her heart somehow felt a bit pained when she read that Sanada had an unclear relationship with another girl.

Nonetheless, she knew it was not the right time to grieve. For that matter, she could just discuss it with Sanada personally later, and now she needs to deal with the matter on hand first.

Tsunade quickly erased any trace of melancholy or sadness in her face as she turned into her Hokage mode.

" So? Just this, and you want to slander a trustee Jonin of mine? Do you think I am a pushover?"

BOOM!!!!

A Kage-level aura burst out from Tsunade's body.

At this time, the two counselors who were just regular ninja, couldn't help but gulp their saliva and hid behind Hiruzen and Danzo, who still acted like there was no pressure.

" Well, calm down Tsunade... We are not here to-"

This time, it was no longer only Danzo. The two counselors also jumped in, seeming like they wanted Tsunade to take responsibility for this.

Not that they could be faulted, though. Sanada wandering around was a direct decision of Tsunade, and if something were to happen during this time, then Tsunade could really hold accountable.

The situation gets more and more unfavorable for Tsunade that even some little jokes from Jiraiya on the side could not help the situation even one bit.

" If you ever find the old geezer troubling you, then try bringing up this topic. Danzo, what happened to your arm and eyes, and maybe it could save you some time!"

It was kind of a bet, but Tsunade didn't have any other choice at this time. Therefore, she gritted her teeth and opened her mouth.

" Danzo, do you mind telling me what happened to your bandaged eye and arm?"

" ???? "
