The next day, Yato woke up very early. The weekend was over, and he couldn't spend all day in the forest like before.

For instance, right now, although he was clearly in a daze, the teacher couldn't tell and believed he was listening attentively. For the moment, he appeared to be a well-behaved student who was a role model for the other mischievous kids.

Little did the teacher know that behind those sunglasses, Shino's eyes were scanning back and forth between Yato and Uchiha Sasuke.

"Those two are so popular with everyone. It's frustrating... I'm not as talkative as them.

As for Yato, all he wanted was to learn.

On one hand, he wasn't naturally talented at learning, neither in his previous life nor in this one, and had to make up for it with hard work.

On the other hand, he missed the days when he was still studying and wanted to experience campus life again. If you have yet to step into society, you won't understand how wonderful school life can be.

Just like the students in the ninja school, who didn't understand the dangers and perils of the ninja world, Yato had endless curiosity and yearning to learn new things that weren't mentioned in the manga.

Seeing the state of his students, Iruka sighed.

The ninja school was bustling as usual. Parents from all over Konoha had left work early to gather at the school gates, eagerly waiting to take their children home.

Hanabi, who had been daydreaming, suddenly felt an urge to go home with Yato after seeing him leave. She wanted to use this opportunity to get closer to him.

"Come on, Hanabi, you can do it!"

Patting her cheeks, she mustered the courage to approach him.

She knew Yato's character well enough to realize that if she didn't make a move, nothing would happen. Even if she did, it might still be a long shot.

However, before she could step forward, the Hyuga clan's servants arrived to escort her back home.

As the future heir of the Hyuga clan, her status was far above that of ordinary people, but it often felt like a burden.

Delayed by this, she turned around, only to find that Yato had already disappeared from the school gate.

"The Konoha Security Department is just doing their job, maintaining the village's security and stability. People shouldn't take their frustrations out on the clan."

Riku titled his head, looking confused. "That's a little bit harsh, don't you think? The store owner said he wouldn't pursue the matter."

Yato replied indifferently, "Everyone is equal before the law. Emotions can't ensure long-term societal stability."

"Then who's to blame, the family of mother and child?"

"Everyone has the right to make their own choices. The family stole food because they just wanted to live. That's not wrong."

"So what's wrong then?"

Riku was new to human society, so he didn't understand Yato's words.

Yato suddenly stopped and looked at the Hokage Rock in front of the Hokage Building, where the faces of Konoha's Hokages were carved.

"Maybe the existence of this world is a mistake in itself."

After saying this, he walked away, lost in thought.

This time, he didn't take a detour but crossed through the Uchiha clan's territory to quickly return home and start his training.

"Who are you, and what are you doing here?"

As Yato approached, two ninjas suddenly appeared in front of him. Their eyes were bright red, meaning they were from the Uchiha clan.

"I live in the forest behind the mountain, and this road leads to it."

The two ninjas were stunned.

As members of the Uchiha clan, they were usually arrogant and very proud. They never expected to meet someone in Konoha who was even more arrogant.

What do you mean, "I live in the forest behind the mountain, and this road leads to it"? Just walk because you can, like Konoha belongs to you?

They wouldn't allow anyone in Konoha to act more arrogant than them.

Just as they were about to fight, someone came from around the corner.

"Itachi..."

Wearing casual clothes, Itachi walked from the corner and approached them.

"Let him go. He's Sasuke's classmate. He's here to play with Sasuke today."

Despite their anger, the two ninjas let Yato go, unable to argue.

Although the Uchiha clan wasn't as strict as the Hyuga clan regarding rules and the distinction between main and branch families, Uchiha Itachi, the son of the patriarch, held a noble and untouchable status.

More importantly, Itachi was incredibly powerful, and they couldn't beat him.

He graduated at 7, activated his Sharingan at 8, became a Chunin at 10, and was already an Anbu captain at 13. His resume was like the reincarnation of Uchiha Madara.

So, they could only swallow their anger and leave.

"You can leave now..."

After the others left, Itachi turned around to speak but saw Yato was already moving away, which left him speechless.

Walking along the main road, Riku noticed the unusually tense vibe of the clan. 

It made sense that the Uchiha clan would be wary of a stranger entering their territory, but their behavior was more than just wary or curious.

They seemed on edge, ready to attack if Yato made any sudden moves.

And he was just a 7-year-old child. Clearly, the Uchiha clan was preparing for something against Konoha.

"Yato, is there really no way to change the fate of the Uchiha clan?" Riku asked, looking around.

"The founding of Konoha was based on cooperation between the Senju and Uchiha clans. Now that the Senju clan is gone, the Uchiha clan is next."

Yato believed the Uchiha clan's destruction was inevitable.

Since Uchiha Madara and Senju Hashirama died in the final battle at the Valley of the End, the relationship between the Uchiha clan and Konoha has been deteriorating.

Although the Uchiha clan, worn down by war, longed for peace and were willing to forget revenge for their leader, Uchiha Madara, and had no thoughts of rebellion, 

The Second Hokage, Senju Tobirama, who succeeded Hashirama, always feared another Uchiha Madara would rise.

During the wars, Tobirama led the Senju clan members into battles, resulting in many casualties and injuries, nearly pushing them off the stage of ninja history.

Conversely, he prevented the Uchiha clan from gaining too much military glory and power.

The Uchiha clan's overall strength remained among the best preserved in Konoha through the First, Second, and Third Ninja Wars.

Senju Tobirama, having fought the Uchiha clan since childhood and witnessed Madara's growth, feared their power and held biases against them, viewing their power, which required sacrifices, as evil.

Whether Senju Tobirama's views on the Uchiha clan were objective or not is debatable.

But by exploiting the Uchiha clan's desire for power and pushing them to oppose Konoha without bloodshed, the Second Hokage showed a keen understanding of their mindset.

"Compared to the first, third, fourth, and fifth Hokage, Senju Tobirama was undoubtedly the most outstanding in terms of leadership. The other Hokage were either naive, weak, or overly kind. Only he had the iron will to do what's necessary to keep the village together."

"So, you're saying the demise of the Uchiha clan was due to the Second Hokage?"

"Not entirely. The Uchiha clan had their own issues too," Yato replied.

"If Senju Tobirama's prejudice against the Uchiha clan was wrong, and they just wanted to live in peace, there wouldn't be any problems."

But Senju Tobirama's view of the Uchiha clan wasn't entirely wrong. There were individuals in the Uchiha clan, like Uchiha Obito, who would go to extreme lengths for personal reasons. Obito, for instance, was willing to become an enemy of the world and destroy it all for the sake of Nohara Rin. Such extreme thoughts were dangerous, validating Tobirama's vigilance.

"The demise of the Uchiha clan was both man-made and their own fault," Yato said, unconcerned about their fate. "What I need to consider now is how I can benefit from this situation."

Riku blinked and asked, "What do you plan to do?"

"Uchiha Itachi graduated from the Ninja Academy at 7, activated the Sharingan at 8, became a Chunin at 10, and led the Anbu at 13. That same year, he was ordered to annihilate the Uchiha clan for their plans of rebellion."

"It's recorded that Sasuke was born in mid-July. Itachi was 21 when he died, and Sasuke was 16 when he killed him. This means Itachi was about 5 years older than Sasuke."

"According to the information, Sasuke was 7 when the Uchiha clan was wiped out. There's a scene in the anime where people congratulate him on his birthday. So, Sasuke should have been 8 at the time of the massacre. Now it's March."

This gives Yato at least four months to prepare if he wants to benefit from the beginning of Uchiha clan's downfall.

The most valuable items from the Uchiha massacre are undoubtedly the Mangekyō Sharingan of Uchiha Itachi and Uchiha Shisui.

Especially Shisui's Mangekyō Sharingan, which holds the terrifying technique "Kotoamatsukami," known as the strongest illusion in ninja history that can change a person's will.

Even if Shisui's eyes were placed in an "Talent exchange system," they would be extremely valuable.

Imagine using "Kotoamatsukami" to make an enemy surrender or even become an ally during a battle. Not only could you defeat the enemy, but you could also gain a powerful follower. This technique truly deserves its reputation as the strongest illusion.

Itachi's Mangekyō Sharingan also possesses formidable powers, including "Amaterasu," which can burn any target until it's completely destroyed, and the potent illusion "Tsukuyomi."

These two pairs of Mangekyō Sharingan are incredibly valuable and could greatly aid Yato in advancing his goals.

Speculations about Uchiha Fugaku having the Mangekyō Sharingan remain unconfirmed, so taking that risk is not advisable.

"But how can I get the Mangekyō Sharingan from them?"

The Mangekyō Sharingan of Uchiha Itachi and Uchiha Shisui are immensely valuable but also extremely difficult to obtain.

Yato had no intention of fighting Itachi. He still had plans and didn't want to die this early.

At least until he developed his observation haki to the point where he could counter the Mangekyō Sharingan, fighting Itachi was not an option.

Taking Shisui's eyes would also be difficult.

Not only was he after Shisui's Mangekyō Sharingan, but so was Shimura Danzo, the man known for carrying Konoha's darkest secrets.

Yato couldn't avoid Danzo, as his current strength was no match for Shisui.

He needed to bide his time, waiting and lurking until the right moment when both sides were weakened from fighting. Only then would he have a chance to seize the Mangekyō Sharingan.
