Renjiro stood rooted to the ground in disbelief. He soon recollected himself as he was in public. After forming the seal of confrontation, Renjiro did not see the need to hang around the training ground and immediately headed home.
They were allowed to leave at their own pleasure as long as they partook in any activity. Normally, Renjiro would have stuck around as he was interested in any activity that would help him grow stronger but he decided to prioritize the notification from the system that he just received.
After he reached his abode, Renjiro found himself standing at the crossroads of confusion, his understanding of the system's intricacies still shrouded in uncertainty despite nearly two years of immersion.
'Why the level up? Was I supposed to meet some special conditions?' Renjiro mused.
He had tried everything possible to evoke the level up from constant exercise and even killing Insects. After all, these were the different ways he had read about level-up systems in various web novels.
'Or was it the high stakes involved? But I was limiting myself and could have easily ended the spar the moment it started. Although it did give me insights on developing my own style. That must be it! The more I 'learn', the more I get exp since it is basically experience.'
Satisfied with his conclusion, Renjiro went ahead and looked at his current stats.

Renjiro was very content with his current sats and rate of progress, particularly with his chakra reserves, which were in constant growth. From what he had sensed from within the clan and the Academy, his reserves were similar to early to mid genin.
'The Job is not done!' Renjiro remarked as he began his evening workout.
He continued with his basic routine until the end of his two-month break and he was starting his second year of Academy.

Only strategy and history remained as the sole lessons of theoretical knowledge, weaving tales of the past and guiding the formation of future tactics and strategies.
In addition to the shift in focus, students were presented with an enticing array of practical lessons, each catering to diverse aspects of shinobi expertise.
The first option beckoned those drawn to the intricacies of sensory techniques. In this class, students delved into the art of chakra sensing, honing their ability to detect and analyze the subtle energies that permeated the world.
The Academy Instructors, among them who were basic sensors, would guide them through exercises to expand their perceptual range and heighten their awareness on the battlefield.
The second was tracking. Led by seasoned trackers from the Inuzuka and Aburame clans who had navigated the vast landscapes of the ninja world, this class equipped students with the skills to follow trails, decipher footprints and read the signs left by their quarry. The immersive outdoor training sessions allowed them to hone their instincts and develop the keen observational prowess required for successful tracking.
For those with a thirst for information and a penchant for espionage, the information-gathering specialization provided a clandestine education. Students explored techniques of discreet observation, code-breaking, and the strategic acquisition of vital intelligence. This class, cloaked in secrecy, sought to mould the next generation of ninja operatives skilled in extracting information from the shadows.
The final specialization, delving into the realm of illusions and mental manipulation, was Genjutsu. Taught by a seasoned genjutsu shinobi, from the Uchiha clan, this class challenged students to unravel the mysteries of the mind and master techniques that could create illusions, distort perceptions, and control the mental landscape of their adversaries.
The immersive exercises aimed to foster a deep understanding of the psychological aspects of warfare.
The second year promised not only a deepening of practical skills but also the crystallization of individual identities within the diverse world of shinobi specializations.

The allure of becoming a silent observer in the shadows, extracting vital intelligence for the benefit of the village, carried a weighty allure. His knowledge of future events would help him prosper in this field. Yet, the shadows held their secrets, and Renjiro hesitated at the thought of navigating their depths.
Genjutsu, the art of illusions and mental manipulation, cast a spell of fascination upon Renjiro's mind. The prospect of weaving illusions, disrupting enemy perceptions, and delving into the realm of psychological warfare appealed to his strategic sensibilities.
However, the intricate dance of the mind presented a labyrinthine challenge, and Renjiro questioned whether he was ready to navigate the complexities of genjutsu. Of course, becoming a genjutsu expert was Renjiro's dream but he would like to do that without leaving any trail of sorts, to make his arsenal versatile and unredictable to enemy shinobi. So the sensory specialization was his best choice as there were people who knew of his training with Yamanaka Sato.
Amidst the deliberation, the call of the sensory specialization resonated with a certain clarity. Renjiro recalled his experiences in the Sensory Corps facility, the teachings of Sato Yamanaka, and the profound connection to the chakra currents that permeated the ninja world. Sensory techniques, with their potential to heighten awareness on the battlefield, resonated with his Uchiha lineage and the pursuit of mastering the unseen.
Plus the added fact that he already had a headstart on it was enticing. This would give him time to focus on other areas he needed improvement on without compromising his rate of growth. Renjiro was very keen on his growth as he knew that the third shinobi war would be close and it was a make or break for him.
The decision felt like a harmonious blend of his innate Uchiha abilities and the strategic acumen he aimed to cultivate. With determination in his eyes, Renjiro Uchiha chose the sensory specialization.
