Chapter 81: Itachi and Kabuto Training

While Ken continued to sit in the lava, he thought about how to increase the power of the lava and make it comparable to Akainu's magma fist.

His lava was slightly less hotter than Magma.

'Hmm, there is not much difference between lava and magma as far as I know. Magma stands for molten rock that is underground and lava for molten rock that breaks through the Earth's surface. Since I could increase the temperature of flames when I use Karyu Endan and make them white, I should be able to do the same with lava release.' Ken hypothesized.

'It would be tough to do so. I don't want my lava to turn white. I only want it to be just more hotter, it would take a lot of chakra control to achieve this. I will have to put more chakra in fire release and a lot less chakra in earth release to form magma.' As Ken thought about that, his eyes widened.

"Did I just discover another form of Lava release? Magma. I am a genius." Ken smirked in triumph.

-----Scene Change-----

While Ken continued his training to get access to another Lava release form, Itachi and Kabuto were not sitting still and were doing their own training.

Itachi after getting inspired by Ken asked his father to teach him their own version of Fire style: Dragon flame bomb jutsu.

While Fugaku did not show any outward expression, he was ecstatic to teach his son. He had kept track of Itachi's progression and he knew that his son was a genius even better than the legendary Madara Uchiha. He wanted his son to become strong enough to lead the Uchiha clan in the future.

Unlike in the anime where Danzo had spread rumors about Uchiha's involvement in the nine tails incident which had led to public hatred towards the Uchiha clan which made them feel isolated.

Even the Hokage and the other elders of the village made them live on the outskirts of the village further which led them to have hatred towards the village and plan a rebellion.

Fugaku also knew that only a Uchiha could control a tailed beast. He was glad that the village did not blame the Uchiha clan for the incident.

This changed Fugaku from his anime counterpart. Yes, he still expected a lot from both of his sons. Yes, He was still a power-hungry person and was still a little mad about losing the spot to become the fourth Hokage to Minato. But now he wanted his sons to leave their mark in this world or maybe even become Hokage at some point of time in their lives instead of becoming Hokage himself.

[A/N: Fun Fact: I called him power hungry for a fact as he let his friend die in the third great ninja war to awaken the mankekyoū sharingan.]

But that did not mean there were not any Uchiha who were arrogant and stupid enough to seek rebellion.

"Itachi, there has been something that I have been waiting to tell you," Fukagu said in a solemn tone.

"What is it, father?"

"Some of the clan elders are not happy with the fewer opportunities that a shinobi from the Uchiha clan receives. They also don't like the current council of elders and want one of the Uchiha elders to be a part of it. They are planning to propose this plan to the entire Konoha council but they would likely be rejected and in that case, they are planning a rebellion." Fugaku said with a sigh.

"What about you father? Do you feel the same?" Itachi asked

"I believe that the Uchiha police force is where the Uchiha belong. It helps us use our sharingan to the best of our ability and solve various crimes that not many can solve easily. We protect the safety of the civilians and it also makes us unique. Besides, fighting the whole leaf village with just our clan is bullshit. The elders have gotten arrogant and too ambitious for their own good."

"No matter how strong our Sharingan is against the might of the rest of the leaf, we would be slaughtered easily. Not to mention, there are a lot of powerhouses in the leaf."

"The Third Hokage and his students, the three Sanins are monsters in battle. And even though Lady Tsunade does not visit the village, I am pretty sure that she would come back in case of a rebellion and support the leaf."

"Then there are the three elders of the village, the Anbu, Root, Ino-Shiko-Cho, Hiashi Hyuga, Shibi Aburame, and Shikuro Aburame. The leaf is strong, Itachi with or without the Uchiha clan. I am worried Itachi, about the future of our clan. I hope that you might be able to change the Uchiha clan someday and till then I will hold back the elders," Fugaku said with a genuine smile.

Itachi just nodded 'I would do anything to protect our family, father and I would not let Sasuke get caught in this web of politics no matter what.'

----Scene Change---

Kabuto was studying about human anatomy extensively because he wanted to make his own taijutsu style.

He was planning to use chakra scalpels outside their intended surgical use, either to cut through defenses or augment his physical strikes, severing muscles on contact in order to disable opponents.

"I am going to make this my own taijutsu. I can't wait to have a taijutsu battle with Ken after I manage to perfect it. It would be my time to kick his ass. I can't wait to see his face when I cut his tendons. Hehehe" Kabuto said as his sadistic personality took hold of him.
