Chapter 78

Fares opened his eyes slowly as he observed his surroundings. The world he is observing now was more than 20 times more clear than before.

He had almost died back then, trying to absorb so much energy at once. However, being an energy oriented body came with its perks. It saved his life from such a miserable situation. 

Fares sat there on the ground for a while more as the pain began fading away slowly. After an hour, the pain disappeared, and he could finally move again freely.

He got up and left the room, but found the place empty. Even with his energy sense, he could not find anyone inside the house.

'That is weird. Where did everyone go?' Fares thought.

He did think it would take long and the girls would probably be asleep by now, but he was confused on why they were absent. 

Fares left the house without a second thought. To him, it felt cold in there without his new family.
