My Wife from the Hell (My Strange Wife)

My wife had been acting strange lately. Every night she always stood still in the garden behind the house. When I asked her. She always replied that she was fertilizing the plants. However, one night I saw a hand sticking out of the ground in my garden. Is that real? Or is it just my hallucination?

2. Letter of resignation

That morning Alex came out of the room right after breakfast was served by his mother. He looked at the dining table from the front door of his room. Then he felt something strange.

"Tamara hasn't seen you yet, Mom?" Alex asked his mother, who was now sitting at the dining table.

"Not yet. Just leave it. She's an adult. She will come home if she wants."

Alex took a deep breath. He sat and looked at his mother, who was actually worried about her daughter, who left the house three days ago.

Tamara left the house after she fought with her mother. Just because of a trivial matter. Because her mother did not approve of the man of her choice.

"It's best to just leave her with her choice. After all, Tamara also likes her boyfriend."

"No. Can't you see that guy doesn't have a steady job? While your younger sister… she works as a teacher, and you know her income is not what I expected."

Alex didn't respond to his mother's words. He already knew his mother's character like this. Always insisting. If something doesn't go the way she expected. Then she will always bring up the same problem every day.

"Is there nothing between the two of you that can please this your mother? At least if you continue your studies maybe you won't be an ordinary office worker."

Alex put down the spoon. The rice in his mouth he swallowed hard.

"Enough, Mom. I'm just asking about Tamara. Why do you have to drag me like this? I managed to get a job alone is more than enough."

Alex left the table. He rushed to the bathroom and got ready to go to work.

However, before that, he wanted to contact Tamara's friends. Maybe they know where Tamara is right now.

"Tamara? She also hasn't come to work since three days ago," answered one of Tamara's co-teachers.

Alex hung up the phone. He tries to find out with Tamara's other friends.

But the result is still the same. Tamara is not in their place. Until he decides to meet Tamara's lover, who lives in a house left by his parents.

Alex looked at his watch. There was still half an hour before he got to work.

He saw the shabby and unkempt house in front of him. Feeling really bad right now. Now he begins to understand why his mother forbade Tamara to marry her lover. It turns out that a man like Edwin doesn't deserve his beautiful and smart sister at all.

Alex stood at Edwin's door home for a moment. He then rang the bell several times until a man with messy hair and only wearing short pants appeared standing in front of him.

He looked at Alex in surprise. It was as if he had never met him before.

"Who are you?" asked Edwin.

"I am Alex, Tamara's older brother. Do you forget?" Alex narrowed his eyes in disbelief. Besides being stupid, he is also forgetful.

"Oh. What happened?"

"Has Tamara been staying at your house these few days?"

Edwin looked at Alex in disbelief.

"Good grief! You don't know that Tamara and I have broken up? She dumped me one week ago. She didn't contact me either."

Alex lengthen his neck and saw the shadow of a woman who covered her body with her blanket.

Obviously, she wasn't Tamara. That red hair doesn't belong to Tamara.

"In that case, okay."

Alex left with nothing. However, seeing Edwin sleeping with another woman after just a week he broke up with Tamara upsets him.

"So take good care of your sister. If she was still with me, she must be here." Edwin's words really annoyed Alex.

He turned around and smiled at Edwin before finally, a hard smack landed on his nose.

"I think this is a suitable farewell gift for you."

Alex then left with satisfaction in his heart.

Tamara's phone is also not active. Alex checked again. The last sent text message was three days ago. Then the next day, his text message was not sent as if Tamara's phone had been turned off.

"Where did she go?" mumbled Alex.

He was getting worried, especially after contacting Tamara's friends, and no one knew about Tamara's whereabouts.

At least if Alex knew where his sister was, he could persuade her to come back home.

Alex's eyes suddenly widened. There was something he was forgetting at this point.

"Tamara is impossible to skip her work," whispered Alex.

The wind that blew on the roof of his company building brushed against his curly hair.

Tamara won't be truant from her job. Because Alex knows his sister really likes her current job. Even though she was sick, she always tried to go to school.

Especially just for running away from home. She couldn't just leave her job.

Alex finally plans to go to his sister's school tomorrow morning. He wants to meet some of Tamara's teachers and students

Alex's phone suddenly rings. Alex immediately picked it up when he found out that the call was from one of the teachers at Tamara's school.

"Sorry to interrupt your time. However, I would like to inform you that Tamara left her resignation letter yesterday morning. I just found the letter this morning."

"Resign? Tamara? But why? Does Tamara have problems at school?" urge Alex. He grew impatient with news of Tamara's sudden resignation letter.

"Can you come to school this afternoon? I was at school until five."

Alex massaged his forehead. He comes home from work at five in the afternoon. If he had to go to his sister's school, he'd probably get there around six o'clock.

"But I might get there at six in the afternoon. How? Can you wait for me?"

"Alright."

Resignation letter. Suddenly disappear. Is this a form of rebellion from Tamara against her mother?
