The Xianbei Confederation (4)

"For the last time Lingqi! Ji! You are not coming with us! That is an order!" Lu Bu shouted out at his daughters as he had no desire to let them join us on our march.

"Father! While we are young we have the power to fight and protect ourselves! We are no longer children!" Lingqi shouted back at Lu Bu in argument.

"No matter what you say Father we are definitely coming with you and your forces!" Lu Ji said as well stamping her Star Piecer, the daughter spear of Sky Piecer, into the ground and making it crack from the force, just like father just like daughter I suppose.

"Master Lu Bu, this is going nowhere, I think it's best that we allow for them to join us, if they are anything like you then I see no problem with the two of them joining us on the battlefield, with your prowess alone along with Master Wu Kong and Master Zhang Liao will make it easy for them to join this battle without worry of putting either of them in Danger." Chen Gong said, hoping to end this argument and begin their march.

"Master Lu Bu, I shall watch over them with my life if that will make you feel more at ease as we make our ways across Anding and towards Shofang in these coming days." Zhang Liao promised him, which in turn calmed him down a bit.

"…. Fine, you two want to prove your worth to me in battle? Then so be it, but if you can't keep up with us as we fight then you will have no right to argue if I send you back to the main army!" He said after he gave in and allowed them to join on the condition they wouldn't hold our army back.

"Be careful." Cai Yan said to me as I got on Kali.

"I will, You guys watch over her alright?" I asked my three comrades as they nodded with Lin Biao slamming her fists together.

"Just leave this to me! Jingling will fall before you know it! And you guys better not take to long to make it to Heyin!" She said with a cheeky grin as I smiled back and nodded.

Cai Yan, Lin Biao, Ma Shun, Tai Yang, Gao Shun and Diaochan would be with the main army and leading 45,000 men to take the capitals while Me, Lu Bu, Chen Gong, Zhang Liao, Lu Lingqi and Lu Ji would be with a smaller elite army made of Spear Calvary and Archer Calvary of 5,000 strong to make our way quickly across all of the provinces before meeting with the main army once more.

"While we have only a few Red and Black Horses, our army has full sets of red and black armor, this should be enough to put fear into those smaller groups we shall face, now let us head for our first objective and reclaim Andings Rice fields and red supply before moving on, if we are fast enough we should be on the outskirts of Anding's Craftsman village by nightfall, barring any unexpected issues." Chen Gong said as all of us were on horseback along with the five thousand warriors that have decided to join us on horseback as well.

"Fine, let's show these Savages the true might of Chinas greatest Warrior!" Lu Bu shouted out with his spear raised while everyone else raised their spears and cheered with him.

"Let's go! Hyaa!" Lu Bu said before sending Lu Bu's Red Hare into a gallop before we did the same and joined him while the Spear/Archer Calvary began to follow after us, being the official start to this war.

"Master Lu Bu, while our speed is fine as the distance is only 5 Li (2.5KM) away from our camp, we should take our time with our approach when it comes to the Toolmaker village as it's 100 Li (50KM) away from that location." Chen Gong went to say but Lu Bu just scoffed at that.

"Don't get so full of yourself Chen Gong! You maybe a strategist but this is My Army! And I will lead it how I see fit!" Which irritated Chen Gong, making obvious the difference in their personalities apparent.

"Ah I see, Lu Bu Chinas greatest Warrior, and Chinas greatest idiot as well!" I said coming up to his side making him turn angrily at me.

"Watch your mouth brat! Maybe I should cut out that tongue of yours!" He said but I didn't back down as I stared this dragon down with no fear in my eyes.

"I'd like to see you try old man! You should listen to good advice when given to you! You think every horse in our army is full of thoroughbreds and elite horses? Don't get full of yourself! The six of us have the necessary horses to keep going nonstop but they don't, and your not stupid enough that you can fight an entire army of ten to twenty thousand strong just by yourself do you?!" I shot back at him as he grit his teeth, but he wasn't completely stupid to completely ignore what I said, he is the strongest of our era but he can't take army's that large on his own, sure two thousand men he could cut down with ease but anymore than that he wouldn't be able to deal with completely on his own.

"Grrr, fine then kid, since you gave me a good fight yesterday I will take what you said and heed it, I only respect strong individuals and that you have earn my acknowledgement in that regard, and I want to see how strong a kid like you can become!" He said before he made Red Hare go faster and take the lead.

Chen Gong and Zhang Liao soon came up to my sides with Lu Lingqi and Lu Ji were behind us.

"Master Wu Kong! You have my thanks for getting Master Lu Bu to heed my words, if we went nonstop to the Tool Maker Village, most of our army's horses would have collapsed from exhaustion and hindered our speed until we reached Shofang to retake the territories of the Horse Pastures and the Legendary Horse Tamer territory to possibly get enough horses to keep going to the rest of the villages before arriving in Heyin." Chen Gong went onto explain the problem if we just kept running when our army wouldn't be able to keep up the pace.

"Master Chen Gong, how do you fair our enemies will be when facing against us?" Zhang Liao asked him to which he grinned.

"The rice fields will be no issue to take, but I cannot see how we will fair in the other regions until we get close enough to approach and gain proper intel to get us into dealing with them properly, but from what I can tell these barbarians wear light leather armor, quite easy for our weapons to cunt through, not only that but only thier elites use anything such as shields, so as I have said the Rice Fields will be no issue in taking, so let us be off and start this war properly!" Chen Gong said with clear confidence as we all nodded before catching up with Lu Bu.

In the distance we could see the Rice Fields, and not wanting to waste anytime we began our charge towards them.

The first official battle with the Xianbei Confederation begins now!
