Chapter 53 Regaining sanity

"Triana, wake up," Blaze continued to call her, tapping her cheeks. "Open your eyes, please."

Gayle, who was guarding outside, barged into the room when he heard Blaze’s shrill cry. A shiver ran down his spine as he saw Triana droop lethargically in Blaze's arms. He assumed Blaze killed her in a fit of rage.

"What happened to her?" he asked, his voice shaking.

"She passed out," Blaze murmured, looking at him. "Why is she so pale?"

Gayle exhaled a sigh of relief and muttered to himself, 'Oh, moon goddess.'

"How do you feel?" He inquired cautiously.

"I’m fine. But Triana…" Blaze stared at her with concern.

"Glad to see that you have regained your sanity. All thanks to Luna. She ultimately healed you." Gayle cracked a grin.

"She healed me!" Blaze regarded him with a squint, skeptical. He had a faint recollection of Triana doing something with him. He looked down at himself with interest, shocked to see that his wounds were healed.
