Chapter 34 The epidemic part-2

The commotion in the packhouse caught Triana by surprise. Everyone appeared to be in a state of panic. The men ran out in a hurry, while the women locked the kids in the room. It seemed as if the pack was under attack.

Triana looked for Moana but didn’t see her anywhere. Then she went to find Erica. She noticed her in the kitchen with several other ladies, making herbal pastes and concoctions. Moana was also there.

"Erica…" she called her out.

"Triana…" Erica dashed over to her. She grabbed her arms and said anxiously, "We are in great trouble. An infectious disease has spread all over the pack. The hospital is overflowing with patients. There is a shortage of doctors and nurses to treat patients. Dario gave the order to lock the packhouse. Don’t go out anywhere, alright?"

"What type of disease is it?" Triana asked. "It had all been okay since the day before."
