Chapter 35 Alma’s cunning plan

Blaze was getting ready for an important meeting for the upcoming attack on the rogue gang. The ink in his pen had run out. He pulled out the drawer and rummaged through it, looking for a pen. He found the blue gemstone pendant instead of a pen. It was only then that he remembered taking it from Triana to repair the chain. But he got so busy dealing with rogue issues that he forgot about it completely.

Blaze took the chain and peered at the pendant, his mind racing to Triana. He missed her.

"Why did you leave me?" He muttered as he brushed his thumb across the gemstone.

He hoped he could put everything aside and rush to see her. Then he wondered whether Moana had managed to persuade her.

"Humph… How is she going to persuade her?" he muttered dejectedly.

Blaze began to regret sending Moana, believing that such a foolish woman couldn’t do anything.

Knock-Knock…

He called, "Come in," shoving the pendant back into the drawer.
