MY MASKED HUSBAND: I fell in love with the most wanted man

Hazel Green silently stood at her bed room window thinking about the events that had happened the last two days. This was an unfamiliar place for her but it could be considered her new dwelling place for the next ten months. She suddenly recalled the rules of the house. Rule number one Party B is not allowed to fall in love with the Young Master, rule number two Party B is forbidden to see the Young Master's face, rule number three Party B's contract will become invalid after giving birth an heir and is not allowed to come close to the baby, if Party B breaks any of the rules the contract will be come void and null hence terminated immediately," "Is that okay?" "Yeah, but I have one more question," "Before you ask that, the Master wears a mask unless he isn't wearing one you will be required to have your blindfold on," Zen replied. Yes, she had gotten married. For others, marriage was a result of love between each other but for her it was due to mutual benefit. And in a blink of time, Hazel had gotten married to someone she wasn't even allowed to see his face. Hazel begins to wonder if she made the right choice. As she struggles to try and not fall in love curiosity seems to be her biggest challenge as she wants to know the secret behind the mask. ........... PS the cover isn't mine it's from Pinterest. Chapter 12 Is it too late to back out of the contract?

"Is it too late to back out of the contract?" Hazel said as she took a step back.

Xander immediately noticed he couldn't help but smile beneath his mask. He walked towards them as he stared directly at Hazel who was using Zen as a cover.

"Bold enough to send me a gift but too scared to face me?" Xander smirked. So this is my wife. He thought. He surveyed her from head to toe and found her quite cute and timid.

After surveying her, he turned to Zen and then cleared his throat.

"Oooh, sorry Xander this is Hazel Rav Green your wife," Zen quickly caught up and then said.

"Hazel Rav Green, even the name itself is cute," He mumbled softly which was unheard.

"What did you say?" Zen asked.

"Nothing, Alexander Myers," he stretched his hand out toward Hazel.

Hazel took a step in front and then shook his hand in return.

"Thank you for the gift, I really liked it," Xander said with a smile. Hazel immediately coughed as she choked on her saliva. She was officially more than embarrassed.

"What did she get you tell me?" Zen asked excitedly.

"Ask her," he turned to Hazel.

"Uhm, the maids are calling me I'll go check on the food," Hazel said as she ran towards the kitchen. She had never embarrassed herself in her life like today. She didn't know how she could face the Master anymore.

"Hazel, wait up what did you get the Master? Did you get me a gift also," Zen ran after her.

"Shut up, stop following me I'm already as embarrassed as it is, give me peace," she replied feeling so frustrated.

Xander watched the two with a smile. He felt quite weird. It had been a long ever since he got to smile happily he instantly felt that having a wife wasn't so bad at all.

"Can you go bother someone else," Hazel said.

"I'll go if you tell me didn't you see the Master he was happy, what did you give him I want to know so that I can get him too, have you ever seen his attitude? He has a really foul mood and temper but he seems normal, you also so that right?" Zen bombarded her with questions.

"Ask him yourself," Hazel yelled in annoyance.

"He won't tell me that's why I came to you, don't keep it a secret share it with me, I'll also tell you the Master's secret," Zen said.

"Move aside can't you see I'm working," Hazel said as she set the food on the dining table.

"Then tell me first, and then

I'll help you," he said following her.

"Zenky," Xander called his name from the living room.

"Master," Zen instantly replied.

"Don't bother my wife," Xander said in a soft but commanding tone.

"Okay," he replied unconsciously. After a while, he realized something was wrong did Xander just acknowledge Hazel as his wife? Wait how did that happen? What were the two up to? He had a lot of unanswered questions.

"Did you just acknowledge Hazel as your wife?" Zen immediately changed his target as he rushed toward where Xander was.

"Yes, do you have a problem?" Xander asked proudly.

"No, no problem at all, I promise,"

"Good," he replied calmly his legs folded together.

"Wait, what happened? Why did you change your mind? Is that why you wanted to eat downstairs today? What are you hiding? Aaah! Come on tell me, you guys are hiding something just wait I'll definitely find out," Zen couldn't help but question on and on but he couldn't find anything fishy.

"True, I'll be eating downstairs from now on at 7 p.m. daily," Xander replied calmly after a while.

"What? Why?" He asked.

"Is there something wrong with me eating at my own house?" He turned to Zen suspiciously.

"No, I mean there is no problem it's your house so you make the decision," Zen replied nervously at his stare.

"Good, go help her," he said facing the kitchen.

Meanwhile, in the kitchen, the maids had already left work. Hazel stood in the kitchen slightly shocked at what she heard. She wasn't sure if she heard it correctly or if she had misheard the Master had called her his wife. But what did it mean? Was he in love with her? She thought.

From the news she had collected ever since she had arrived there, the Master was someone cold and arrogant but from what she had seen he was completely different from what she knew.

She paced around the kitchen trying to think but what she knew it couldn't be love. This was their first meeting or maybe he loved that thing? Yes, that must be it I clearly heard he said he loved the present. She concluded.

Zen walked into the kitchen only to see Hazel pacing around the kitchen in a daze.

"Hazel? Hazel?" He called but she didn't respond. He walked to her and then bent down in front of her face being a head taller and then said," What are you doing?"

"Aaah! Jeez Zen what are you doing in front of my face ?" Hazel leaped in fright.

"I should be asking you the same, what are you doing pacing around," Zen asked.

"None of your business, help me carry the plates to the table," and after saying that, Hazel disappeared.

"Tch! No wonder they get along birds of the same feathers really flock together," Zen cursed in the kitchen.

"Zen, hurry up are you cursing me?" Hazel yelled from the dining room.

"Me? Why no how could I?" He said awkwardly.

"How did she know that I was cursing her?" He said at no one in particular.

"Zen, hurry up," Hazel yelled again.

"Fine, I'm here, call the Master," Hazel signaled him.

"Why should I? Am I his wife do it yourself,"

"You bastard," Hazel gritted his teeth.

Hazel and Zen were almost age mates which was why they bickered with each other and got along despite meeting each other recently.

"Dinner is served Master," Hazel said politely.

"Call me Xander," he said.

"It's not appropriate Master," Hazel said her eyes staring down on the floor.

"Look at me," Xander said. Hazel immediately lifted her eyes and then stared at his face.

The mask on his face hid his features completely and only his blue eyes were visible. But Hazel could instantly tell he was a handsome man. His face was thin and pointed like those celebrity idols. She took this time to scan him completely. After analyzing his face, he moved toward his chest, shoulders, and arms. He was muscular and had a good body she agreed.

Hazel then stared at his waist downwards towards his legs she could approximate his height to be at least 1.9m. He was what she called perfect.

"Are you done?" Xander's voice brought her back.
