Picking up the pieces of diamond jewellery, Carlotta checked and scrutinized each of them very carefully.

Judging from how engrossed she looked, the others around felt that she was not looking for her lost necklace but instead trying to distinguish the authenticity of Layla's jewelleries. With her glinting eyes, she seemed to love them very much.

"Mum, have you found your necklace?" Fred asked impatiently after waiting for a long while.

Hearing this, Carlotta put down the pearl necklace in her hand and replied with a sour face, "No. However, it doesn't mean that she did not steal it. No thief would keep the things they stole in such obvious places."

At this moment, the corner of Taylor's mouth curled into a disdainful smile. "Mrs. Herbert, how much is your diamond necklace worth?"

"It's worth up to 100 thousand dollars."
