My Darling of the Dark

Amelia Bennett’s life changed the night she caught her fiancé cheating on her in their own home. Betrayed and distraught, she was met with what should’ve been a fatal accident, only to survive and awaken in a house filled with dangerous creatures. Love had always been a bitter word for Aziel Sanford. However, that cold heart of his started beating again the night his roommates returned home with a beautiful human woman. But how could a vampire and a human coexist together in a world where they were fated to be predator and prey? Amelia believed the three men were her saviors, not knowing that they sought after her blood. On the other hand, as the days pressed on, the vampires grew to enjoy her presence, quickly forgetting the reason why they brought her back in the first place. What happens when two broken souls are brought together by the hands of destiny? And when evil seeks to land its hands on Amelia — a human that has more entanglements with the creatures of the night than she originally thought — will their love be enough to save her from it? — “A human?” Not only his face, but his voice too was dangerously appealing to her poor heart, running a shiver down her spine. His heavy, masculine voice rang in her ears like a melody and she was too stunned to speak. She could only gawk at him like a bewitched maiden. Witnessing her numb reaction and stunning eyes locked on him, he teased her, “May I know, why are you looking at me like that, darling?" An intimidating sensation elevated her heart rate hearing such a cheesy abbreviation from a handsome stranger. With the utmost difficulty, she pressed her lips before murmuring out, “A-Are y-you… Mr. A-Azure?” “Azure?” He repeated after her. “How could you barge into a stranger’s room without even learning their name properly? Such an innocent fawn…” He smirked with a sly grin.

Did Something Happen?

While twirling a glass of red wine, Silas had a stiff expression while sitting on the couch in the living room. His cold onyx eyes glanced at the wall clock and noticed it was already 7 pm, past evening.

“Seems like both of them are together outside.”

The low, hoarse voice made Silas wince and glimpse behind. Wearing nothing more than a blue bathrobe, Cassius walked toward him while rubbing his wet brown hair with a small towel.

As Cassius got close, Silas stared at him. Paler than usual and with unusually crimson red lips, Cassius had dark circles beneath his large eyes.

But at that moment, Silas observed a strange sight. He noticed Cassius’s reflection didn’t fall on the wall mirror at the center of the hall room, which made him more concerned.

“Hey,” Silas mumbled in a cold yet stiff tone before he put the wine glass on the table. “Are you okay, Cassius? Didn’t you notice your reflection is missing from the mirror?”
