The Awaited Dual 

Everyone is sleeping right now, after eating and drinking a lot yesterday everyone is sleeping without any worries.

They have to get ready to attend the dual today, and after that they will prepare themselves for the conference.

When everyone was sleeping Itami was meditating in the garden, he was trying to relax his nerves so that he could use magic smoothly.

Meditating increases one's focus so it's crucial for magicians to do meditation but unfortunately, most of the magicians don't care about it and just practices like a fool to sharpen their skills.

Chris wakes up after hearing the sound of slashes; it was Harold practicing in the backyard.

Seeing him Chris goes to the backyard to see him. Chris and Quinella are staying in the room facing the backyard.

Going to the backyard he shouts his name and asks him "What are you doing here so early?"

Hearing his question Harold looks at him and says "It's already 11 am and you are telling me that it's early".

Saying that he focuses back on his training. Seeing a worried look on his face he goes near him and asks "Is there a matter that's troubling you?"

Hearing his question he glanced at him and replied "Even if there is, what can you do?"

Hearing his words Chris takes the sword from his hand and replies "Maybe I can't help you but tiring yourself won't help you either so just take a moment and think about it in cool head".

Saying that he looked at the way he came and said "Ok then I will go now, think about it well".

Just when he was about to go Harold holds his hand and he feels some water on his hand so he looked at the sky and said "The sky is gloomy today maybe it will rain torrential later" saying that he placed his butt on the bench and didn't say anything.

When Chris sat on the bench Harold wiped his tears and said "It's hard to face him cause of my sufferings, after a long time when I was almost on the verge of forgetting it" saying that he wipes his snot with his hand.

Hearing his words Chris passed him his handkerchief and said "It's unhygienic to wipe your snot with your hand so use it instead" saying that he crossed his arms and said, "I don't know how you are feeling, you might be scared, sad or angry right now but I won't be able to console you without going through what you have undergone but I understand that it is hard and a scary situation for you so I just want to tell you one thing don't just get scared gather up some courage and build your confidence to face him so that you can spit on him when you guys meet, getting scared is okay but never gathering up courage is wrong remember that always".

Saying that he rubbed Harold's back and left from there.

After some time Itami finished his meditation and went to take a shower. After taking a shower he goes to the dining hall to take his breakfast and sees that everyone is there.

Seeing them he smiles and takes a bowl and pours milk in it. Seeing him Gilbert stood up and asked "Are you nervous?"

Taking the jar of cereal from the shelf he replies "Yeah kinda, I know I shouldn't but I can't help it" saying that he smiled and put the spoon of cereal in his mouth. 

Hearing his words Gilbert took a strong gesture like a hero and said "No you are wrong it's normal to feel nervous, well I am surprised to see that you aren't scared that much we are talking about the famous captivator and you are going to fight him and to make it worst it is your first official match in our kingdom".

Hearing his words Itami said in his mind "He must be thinking that I have fought before in other Kingdoms but he doesn't know that it's my first ever fight with anyone and on top of that I have to show my power in a flashy way or I wouldn't get a chance to participate in the special quest".

Just when he was thinking about it Gilbert was shaking him and noticing that he had come back to reality seeing a worried look on Gilbert's face he placed his hand on his shoulder and said "Don't worry guys I will win" saying that he left the place with a bowl of cereal in his hand.

When he left from there everyone else also stood up and went to their room to get ready. 

It's 2 pm right now and the match will start at sharp 3. Everyone is ready to go to the arena except Itami.

He is still thinking about something and after thinking for some time he pulled out his dark mirror from his bag and looked at his mom's face.

She was sleeping peacefully but still, there were some tears in his eyes and her pillow was also soaked in her tears.

Seeing that Itami placed the mirror close to his heart and said "Don't worry Mom it's not too long that you will smile sitting beside me".

Saying that he went to the dressing room to get ready. He will wear a light chain armor inside and will put a white-colored cloak with sewed words saying 'A new breeze is coming'.

On the other side Eugeious is also getting ready he will wear his Royal Rose Knight uniform but before putting his helmet on he looks at the arena and says "I will free you from the prison". 

Saying that he puts his helmet on and goes to the waiting room. The dressing room is in the arena. 

Hugo is drinking wine while standing near the window but just when he is about to give his last sip, Grant enters the room and says "The guests are here my majesty".

Hearing his words Hugo smirks and drops the glass on the floor and gets out of there.

Going out of the room he meets with most of the guests and welcomes them and on the other side Eugeious and Itami are ready for the dual.

Last night a letter came to the room of Itami and opening it he looks at the bet and the seal of the Rose King and there was a blank space for him to sign if he agrees to the bet.

He signs there without thinking twice cause he knows that he will win.

Now entering the arena Itami and Eugeious both looks at Harold with a serious face and shakes hand before the dual as a courtesy. 

Chris and the others are sitting on the front seats of the west wing. They are all praying for Itami's win.

Hugo is sitting on his throne and after taking a look at the stadium he raises his hand and gives the signal to start the match, seeing that Eugeious covers his sword in flame and Itami illuminates himself with Holy Light and when Eugeious uses his 2nd form 'Quick and Silent' Itami moves away from there with his skill 'Light Step'.

It allows him to move at light speed but due to the speed, it puts pressure on his body.

After using the 'Light Step' he uses his 'Holy Creation' and creates a Dragon consisting of mana and attacks him with it.

Just when the Dragon was about to attack him he jumped on his left and used his sword to stab it in its stomach and when his blade pierced through its skin he flowed his mana through the blade and ignited it.

Due to that the Dragon gets destroyed. Seeing his attack Itami said "Not bad captain" with a smirk on his face and seeing it Eugeious replied "It's my line, Elf".

Saying that he uses his Air element and tries to blow Itami out of the arena but Itami uses his 'Holy Slash' and interrupts his spell and rushes toward him with his sword and tries to use the 1st form of the Hage stand which he learned from Harold.

But his attack was stopped by the blade of Eugeious and seeing him trying to use 'Fallen Knight' he laughs and says "Your half-baked form won't be able to cut a strand of my hair saying that he roared in rage and used his 5th form Atomic Slash.

This attack made an explosion in the middle of the arena. After the attack, there was just smoke everywhere.

Seeing it Chris tries to spot Itami but he can't locate him with his eyes. (To be continued)

Extra:

Carter was going to give a list of suspects to Willy but when he was about to enter he heard the word 'Dattebayo'. Hearing the word he slams the door and enters quickly. Seeing him Willy pushes a button on the keyboard and asks him "What are you doing here?"

Carter: I was here to give you the list of the suspects but leave that for now, what are you watching on PC?

Willy: What are you talking about Carter? I was just watching some news that's all.

Carter: Is that so?

Willy: Yeah I was just watching some normal news.

Hearing his words Carter pointed at the window and screamed Dattebayo, hearing it Willy looked at the window, and using that chance Carter looked at his PC and founds out that he was watching Naruto.

Looking out the window when Willy turned back he saw Carter's face and he was angry so he said I was just taking a break you know.

Carter: The problem isn't that you were taking a break and watching Naruto the real problem is you didn't invite me.

Saying that he pulled a chair and sat beside Willy and pressed the resume button and said "Let's watch together".
