Itami’s Past

I am now laying in my bed after coming back from the Guild hall. I was thinking about the abnormalities of the Azaria Dungeon but that's when Itami called me in the dark mirror.

I picked up the call. He was crying in his bed so I get scared a little bit. I asked him "What happened Itami? Why are you crying?"

He snorted and replied that "A lot of things happened when you went to the dungeon".

I said Okay, and asked him "Can you tell me in detail?"

He replied, "Ok, I am going to explain you everything in detail now but prepare yourself cause it's gonna shock you".

Truly speaking actually I got a little bit scared before even he told me that but I gathered some courage and asked him to continue his explanation.

First, he told me that Mr. Yohan is dead. I was quite shocked after hearing it but I controlled my emotions and asked him "How did he die?"

Itami showed me a sorrowful smile and asked me to guess it. I thought for some time and replied "He must have gotten murdered by someone I guess he was stabbed or got shot by a gun".

Itami heard my guess with a sad look in his eyes and replied "You are right, now can you guess who killed him?"

I replied "There is no need for me to guess, a criminal must have killed him"

This time Itami couldn't maintain his sorrowful smile and cried loudly.

I don't know why is he crying but I guess he is just sad about his father's death so I expressed my condolences to him and told him to stay strong.

He laughed after hearing my words and asked me "Would you say that to my father's killer".

I really don't know what is going on so I asked him to clear everything to me.

He showed his hands to me and said "Do you see these bloody hands?"

I replied in a low voice "Well you are holding your hands before the dark mirror so yes I am seeing your bloody hands".

He looked at me with his green eyes filled with sorrow and hate and said "I killed my dad with these hands".

It felt like the sky fell in my head after hearing his words. I can't believe it but I have to cause Itami wouldn't joke about something serious like this.

There was a pin-drop silence between us for a minute after that.

I opened my mouth and asked him "I know Itami you wouldn't kill anyone until it's really necessary, so I guess you have killed him to hide something from the world".

He nodded his head and replied, "Dad found out that I run over the truck over you so he was going to tell this to the world so I had no choice but to kill him".

I listened to his words attentively and applaud for him.

He was quite shocked when he saw me applauding for him and his heinous work.

He looked at me with his sorrowful eyes and asked "Why are you applauding this isn't an achievement".

I replied, "You may think that but you have actually fulfilled your duty as the leader of the dark Isekai project".

After hearing my words he looked a little bit happy but my words couldn't erase those sorrowful eyes of his.

He thanked me for my words and said that he needs some help. I asked him "Do you have to kill someone again?"

He looked at me with wonder in his eyes and asked "How did you know?"

I smiled and replied, "I know you; you will not allow anyone to interrupt our project".

He smiled and said, "Well you know me; I have to get rid of Airin Aizer".

It felt like I know that name so I searched in my memory cells for some seconds and I remembered that Airin Aizer is the CEO of Daily Brangel news company.

After remembering her face I asked him "Why do you want to kill that lady?"

He replied with a demonic smile "I am not going to kill her I am just going to transfer her to the Kalid universe".

Just by seeing his demonic smile, I understood that there is some connection between Airin and Chasm.

Chasm was the younger brother of Itami. He was murdered by some terrorists who attacked Itami's apartment due to his father's occupation.

7 years ago Itami's father arrested a dangerous terrorist leader Gareth Garo. To free him from Inspector Yohan Isaac his terrorist group Knight Killers raided Yohan's house.

Itami was in school at that time so his 5-year-old brother and his mother were the only people who were in the apartment.

The terrorist group raided his home at 12:45 pm. The group telecasted a video saying that if Yohan doesn't free their leader in 6 hours then they are going to kill his family.

After telecasting the video they were waiting for Yohan's response.

As I mentioned earlier Chasm was only 5 years old so he got scared by all that noise.

So he was crying non-stop. The terrorists threatened his mother to silence him.

His mother tried her best to calm him but he was crying and crying. Well, it's obvious that a 5-year-old child will cry loudly when he is scared.

But the terrorists have already left their common sense and humanity when they entered the Knight killer terrorist group.

So they kicked Chasm to shut him up but he began to cry more loudly. This time they couldn't control the monster inside them so they aimed their AK-47 at Chasm.

His mom tried to stop them by touching their feet but it was too late cause before she could stop them they already shot Chasm.

Chasm's little body was like a net after their firing. His body was full of holes.

In the blink of an eye, his body was full of blood. Mrs. Clara Isaac was just seeing her own child's dead body on the floor.

She lost consciousness after that. The police department operated an operation named 'Dark Sky' and rescued them in 5 hours.

Itami was returning from his school at 6 pm. usually, he returns home by 5 pm but that day he visited a game arcane with his friends so he spend some there with his friend.

That's why he was returning to his home at 6 pm. He was just smiling and singing a song and thinking of his younger brother.

He won a game at arcane so he achieved a teddy bear as a prize and he was going to give it to Chasm that day but he didn't know that his younger brother is no more.

He reached his home after 20 minutes. When he came in front of his apartment he saw a crowd and some police there.

He was a little bit worried but he thought that the police officers are his father's friends. So he asked a police officer "Why don't you come to our house rather than standing here".

The police looked at him and asked him his name. He replied like a good boy that his name is Itami Isaac.

After hearing his name he called out an officer. The officer was sub-inspector Willy Brand.

Willy came to him and holds his hand. He looked at Willy and asked him "Uncle Willy why there are so many crowds here?"

Willy looked at him and replied "They are here to see a hero who sacrificed his life for us"

Itami looked at him and asked him "What do you mean by sacrifice".

Willy replied, "Why don't you ask your father about it".

Willy brought Itami with him to Yohan. He was crying in front of his apartment at that time.

When he saw Itami he wiped his tears and welcomed him home.

Itami asked his father "Why are you crying?"

He replied "Oh! Was I crying, I think some dirt entered my eye that's why there are tears in my eyes?"

Itami looked at him in his eyes closely and said "You are lying dad, you were crying and there is no dirt in your eyes".

Yohan didn't know what to say "So he asked him if he wants to go to a restaurant to eat a hamburger?"

He replied with a sweet smile "Of course but let me call mom and Chasm first".

Yohan hold his hand when he tried to enter the apartment.

Itami looked at him with surprise and asked: "Why are you stopping me, dad, let me go there is no way I am going to eat hamburgers alone without Chasm, you know that Chasm will get angry if I don't bring him along".

Yohan couldn't stop his tears anymore and burst out in tears by hugging Itami in his arms.

Itami still can't understand what is happening so he asked again to his father "Where are mom and Chasm" (To be continued
