DEBRIEF AND INNER TURMOIL
Helga walked slightly behind General Nash. He led her through winding hallways and corridors until they reached a classroom on the far side of the base.
They entered and Helga saw that all the other first rankers -- all twelve of them -- were present in the room.
She moved inside and took a seat as far away from the boy who had threatened her and Quinn before. She was just grateful that his two goons weren't first rankers as well, it would have been insufferable.
She had learned that the boy was known as Gray. He was one of the most promising first rankers, someone who people presume was the closest to being a general. But all she knew was that the boy was a dick!
She turned back to the front of the room along with all the other first rankers when General Wasashi stood in front of them.
