Chapter Two Hundred and Five

George POV

 I can't believe what am hearing that Claire Davidson is behind what is happening and to think that I was busy suspecting Anna to be the culprit. I thought Claire is on vacation or is she doing this while still on vacation, a lot of thoughts is going on in my mind right now. I already sent the money to Lisa cause I can feel how sincere she is, it's very obvious that she don't want to embark on such mission but circumstances forced her to do it. I saw how relieved she was when I told her that I know everything.

Lisa, I need you to do something for me, I told her. Sure whatever you want so long you will not ask me to kill or steal, Lisa replied. No I will never ask you to do that, I just want you to continue with what you were doing before, I told her. Am sorry I don't understand what do you mean by that? Lisa asked and you can clearly see the confusion on her face. I mean you should continue with the plan you had with Claire, I want you to act like I did not find out about this whole set up, I explained to her.

Okay I will do that for you but please I want to be with my daughter, Lisa pleaded. I can imagine how much she missed her daughter especially that she is sick under the care of a total stranger. Sure I can arrange for your daughter to be with you but you have to assure me your undivided cooperation, I told her. You have my cooperation anytime, she assured me looking so determined. For now tell Claire that the result is out and I believe the result hook and sinker, I instructed her.

I left the coffee shop after I am satisfied that Lisa is now on my side. I dialed Aunty Rose number but her line is not connecting. I dialed Sarah number next, I can't wait to tell her everything that happened today and am sure she will be surprise as I was. Sarah picked her call on the second ring. Hey babe what's up? She asked immediately, you can tell from her voice that she is so eager to know how today went. Am good just tired from the day stress, I answered smiling to myself, I can already picture her worried face.

Sorry for the stress but I hope the stress was worth it? She asked. Yeah it was worth it but I will tell you all about today when I see you, I can't tell you all that over the phone, so where are you? I asked her. I really miss her and I can't wait to see her. Seem like someone is missing already, well I am still at the company waiting for you to come back, Sarah answered. That's what am talking about you,when am back we will go for lunch together, just wait for me a little bit, I told her.

It really feel good to know that whenever you go out there is someone at home waiting for you to return, it kind of give someone sense of belonging. I arrived at the company, I walked inside my company and looked towards Aunty Rose desk cause I want to know why her lines are not connecting but she is not there, maybe she went to the restroom. I walked into my office and Sarah laid down on the couch going through her phone. She is so beautiful while laying down there, I took out my phone and took a picture of him and because of the click of the camera, she noticed my presence.

Hey you are here already, she said stood and walked to me and give me a tight hug. I miss you, She murmur. I miss you too babe, I respond. I broke the hug and looked at her, I know that you have a lot of questions going on in that head of yours but can we have lunch first before you start asking your question cause am starving, I can see the excitement in her eyes to start firing away her questions. She nodded eagerly and dragged to the nearest eatery. Before I forget I can't find Aunty Rose anywhere around this company, do you happen to know where she is? I asked her.

I don't really know where she is right now but I heard said something like she will be going out for lunch with someone, Sarah answered not giving much thought to it. I guess she off her phone because she don't want to be disturbed while she is on a date. We arrived at the eatery and ordered for our meal, when our order arrived, I quickly dig in without waiting for any special invite cause am really starving.

After I finished eating I know it's time to answer whatever question Sarah have there to the best of my knowledge. So can I ask my questions now? She asked like a child asking for her favourite candy. Yes you can now ask your question, I told her. So tell me how did it go today? Sarah inquired. I told her everything that happened today including the person behind it. Sarah was shocked by today revelation cause the shocked expression is there on her face. I can't believe that Claire Davidson is responsible for this, Sarah said still in disbelief.

So what are your plans now? What do you intend to do? Sarah asked me. Well I don't know for the moment that's why am looking for Aunty Rose cause I know she will have good plan in place, I answered cause the truth is I don't have any idea in my head right now. Okay wait for Aunty Rose then, Sarah said. I don't know if I heard her correctly cause I can detect disappointment in his voice, maybe she thought that am always dependent on Aunty Rose for advice on what to do. I already ask her to continue with what she was doing so that Claire will not suspect anything, I explained to her cause I don't want her to see me as a weakling.
