George stared intently at Lisa, Lisa on the other hand is not comfortable with the stares she is getting from George but she decided to put on a strong facade so that he cannot tell how afraid she is right now. George cleared his voice indicating that he want to start talking. So Lisa from the result we have here, it shows that am the father of your child right? George asked still with that blank expression. Lisa is not comfortable with the question but answered it regardless, Yes both of us were there when the doctor explained the result, Lisa answered.
Right, we were there when he announced it, but do you know that am not surprise by that result, I mean am already expecting that result to be that way, George said. What do you mean? Lisa asked. She can feel that George know something already but she is contemplating whether to come clean to him or stick to the plan cause her child life is on the line. You already know what am talking about, so I will advice you come clean to me, George said to her. I don't know what you are talking about, Lisa decide to lie.
Well I guess you choose the long way but I don't mind walking that road with you, George said. I don't know why you are saying all this but if you think am going to ask for child support, forget about it cause I will not ask for it we have been fine all this while, Lisa said trying to sound convincing. You will not ask me for child support cause I don't have any right on your child, do you want to know why it's like that? George asked. Lisa gulped down cause her fears are now manifesting.
Well I will take your silence as a yes that you want to know why, well it's because am not your child father, George stated. Lisa looked so alarmed by what George just uttered but she still stick to the script. What do you mean that you are not the father of my child? But you just saw the DNA result, Lisa pointed out to George. You mean the result you fabricated, George accused. Lisa know that she is doomed but she is fighting to leave this place in one piece cause things are turning against her, cause this is not what she anticipated.
You know what suit yourself, am leaving it was a mistake from the beginning to approach you in regards to this matter, Lisa said acting like she is really mad but George is not buying any of that. Leaving this conversation is the worst mistake you will made cause I will not allow you and whoever you are working for to ruined my reputation and relationship, I promise to search for you and the other person wherever you two will be hiding, George warned and threatened her as well. Lisa know that she is there is no way she can lie her way out now.
Though Lisa know that she can't lie anymore cause George already know the truth but she still kept quiet without saying any word that indicates that what he is saying is the truth or not. George sensing that the lady before him is not ready to talk decide to go with the luring game, lure her with money. Lisa your daughter is sick and you are financially handicapped as it is now and I assure you that I will pay you double no triple the amount the person you are working for will pay you, all I need from you is to tell me the person you are working for, George proposed.
Lisa know that it is time to surrender cause there is no need for her to continue lying to him, maybe there is a possibility that he will help her out with her situation. You are right George, you are not the father of my child, I was already pregnant when we have the one night stand, Lisa explained while crying. George felt pity for the lady cause he understand that the lady is in a tight corner and she have no other choice but to do everything possible to save her child. George handed his handkerchief to Lisa to wipe her tears while he looked at her with eyes filled with pity.
When Lisa sobbing have lessen, George started talking again cause he have not got the information he need. So tell me Lisa who is the she that approached you? George asked. Lisa heaved a sigh cause finally she is doing this, she don't have to feel guilty of destroying someone relationship. She said that her name is Claire Davidson, Lisa answered. The look on George face right now cannot be painted, he is beyond shocked, the last time he checked Claire was on a vacation how can she pull such stunt.
Did you mentioned Claire Davidson? George asked so that he can be sure of what he heard. Yes I mentioned Claire Davidson that is the name of the lady that approached me, Lisa confirmed. God! I can't believe this I thought she already given up but guess I was just kidding myself. Can I have your account details? George requested from Lisa. The latter was surprise by George request cause she is not expecting him to keep to his words after learning what she did to sabotage his relationship. Do you still want to help me after everything? Lisa asked the question on her mind.
Yes am a man of my word, George simply answered. Lisa sent her account details to George which he sent a huge amount of money in her account. Lisa was dumbfounded when she saw the alert, she can't believe that she can now proceed with her daughter treatment without doing any bad deed to get the money. Lisa I will need you to do something for me, George requested from Lisa. Cause he need to find a way to lure Claire out and Lisa seemed to be the best option he got now.
