Third Person POV

Mr Davidson finally decided to meet with the president of Vincent company to start what he thinks will make Mrs Vincent and her son to crawl back to him and accept their rejection. When Steve Vincent president of Vincent company received a call from Mr Davidson the renowned business man that made it very obvious that he don't like Steve gut was more than overwhelming especially Mr Davidson asking to meet with him. He have been wondering the reason why the man want to see him but whatever it is,he is too curious to let it slide.

Mr Davidson asked that he should meet Steve in Steve's office cause he want the news that he visited the company and went to Steve office only to reach the chairman ears. Steve was very happy when he saw Mr Davidson walked into his office but decided to play it cool. When Steve saw that the latter has make himself comfortable, he decided to speak up. Mr Davidson it's nice to have you here in my office but what can I offer you as refreshment, Steve asked Mr Davidson who have been looking around his office since he walked into it. Am fine Steve,am not here to drink rather am here to discuss business with you Mr Davidson said.

This got Steve interest,You want to discuss business with me? Steve asked to make sure he is not hallucinating or hearing double. Yes I want to discuss business with you,How about I tell you that you have 100% assurance of being the chairman of this company, Mr Davidson stated. Steve stared at Mr Davidson like he has lost some of his senses for saying something like, if he did not know the man he might start suspecting maybe the man is crazy cause Steve have tried in the past but fail woefully. Steve decided to to voice out what's on his mind, You know that's impossible cause I have tried before and failed,Steve said

That is because you don't have my support back then,Mr Davidson said nonchalantly. Steve kept on repeating Mr Davidson words in his mind. "Because you don't have my support back then" Does that mean he want to support me now but why suddenly cause the last time I checked the man do not like me one bit. When you said " because you don't have my support back then " does that mean that you want to support me now? Steve asked. Yes am ready to support you now,Mr Davidson answered. But why? Why the sudden support? Steve asked. Mr Davidson already expected that question from Steve cause that's the question every sensible person will ask,Why the sudden interest?

I was expecting you to ask that question and you did not disappoint me,Mr Davidson said while smiling. Well let's say your sister in-law crossed my path in a way she shouldn't and I just want to show her how important I am in her life,Mr Davidson briefly explained not wanting to go into details with Steve cause he don't trust him one bit. Your explanation is very bogus but I will not pressure you into saying more,so that bring me to my next question, What are the guarantee that you will not turn back on me tomorrow like you are doing to my sister in-law? Steve asked. That question really got to Claire's father but he decided to to ignore what he is implying, he is doing all these for his precious daughter.

Well am a man of my word,I only turned back on your sister in-law because she turned back on me first,Mr Davidson said. Hmm this is too sudden but when you said you are going to support me, how do you intend to do that? Steve asked. Mr Davidson sat up and looked Steve straight in the eyes,Am aware that the addition of my shares to your sister in-law and son shares is what kept her as the chairman of this company, imagine I withdraw my shares from hers and it go to you,What o you think will happen? Mr Davidson asked and sat back to wait for Steve reply cause he know he have said what Steve couldn't refuse.

Steve was overwhelmed by what he just heard now,he can't believe that Mr Davidson will hand his shares to him. He smiled widely, at last his dream is about to come through. Mr Davidson you have yourself a deal,am willing to accept your deal if you withdraw support to my sister in-law and please the moment you officially withdraw your support to her, notify me so that she can start the take over process,Steve told Mr Davidson. That won't be a problem as soon as it's official I will notify you,Mr Davidson assured Steve.

Mr Davidson stand up immediately to leave cause the truth is that he is not comfortable chatting with Steve but he don't mind dinning with the devil himself if it concerns his precious daughter. Mr Davidson left Steve office after they exchange handshake to seal their deal,Mr Davidson left immediately like death is after him. Steve noticed Mr Davidson discomfort, it's very obvious that the man don't like him at all but that made him to be more curious as of the reason why he suddenly want to support him. Steve vowed to find out what the reason is and if it is what will benefit him,he will not hesitate to grab it. But for now he have to wait patiently for Mr Davidson to officially withdraw his support then he will step in to take the throne that rightfully belong to him.

Mrs Vincent POV

George called me and informed me that he already got the car for Sarah, he even send the picture of the car to me and I must say my son did not disappoint me. I was in my office going through some files when my assistant knocked on the door. I asked her to come in,when she came in she looked worried. Why are you looking like you just saw a ghost are you okay? I asked her. Yes Ma,am okay is just that I saw Mr Davidson of Davidson's empire walking into the president office, Lana my assistant said while still having that worried look on his face.

I wanted to give Mr Davidson the benefit of doubt but I think he is ready to stoop so low just to fulfill his daughter desire. Am so mad now that I kind of engineered this whole thing,I was lost in my thought and blaming myself when I remember that Lana is still in the office. Lana have been with me when Steve tried to take the company and failed and she witnessed all that I passed through that period, so I understand why she is worried. Lana you know Mr Davidson and I are not on good terms now because of personal reasons, that's why you have to be careful of who you interact with from now on,I told her.

Yes ma I will be careful and if there is anything I have to do to help please don't hesitate to tell me,Lana said showing her eagerness to help which I appreciate. Sure Lana I will not hesitate, I assured her. She nodded and left my office afterwards, I sat there not working just staring at space. I can't help but thank God for giving me such a brilliant son and good people around me,if not because of their effort I will be stranded now. I called my son to update him on the recent development, HI Mum,He greeted immediately he picked the call. Mr Davidson have made his move today,I told him immediately not wasting any time.

Okay Mum calm down, don't panic and remember that we have everything under control My son tried to calm me down. Am calm George don't worry,I got this,I assured him. I will call Sarah and ask her to be ready that it's about time,just tell me the moment Claire's father withdraw his support so that we can get everything ready,My son ask me. Sure I will tell you when that happens,I assured. I dropped the call after we discussed other things that have to do with how things are going to be conducted on that day.

I called Lana into my office, Lana I will need your help,I said when she walked in. Say anything Ma and consider it done,Lana said enthusiastically. I will need a 24 hours tail on Steve,can you arrange that for me? I asked her. Sure Ma I can,is there anything else you want? Lana asked. I will need information on everything he does from now on,from who he talk to,eat with,laugh with,in fact everything I need to know about it and that will final for now, I said and dismissing her as well cause I need to focus on what I was doing before.
