Chapter One Hundred and Fifty Four

George POV

My day started with a Good morning text from Sarah, I smiled when I saw the message. This is really the best way to wake up, I told myself. I prepared for work but before I leave the house My mother reminded me that I should remember to visit Sarah mother as soon as possible. I already have that in mind and I intend doing that this weekend but I have to tell Sarah first. I arrived at the company and met Aunty Rose who was out of reach throughout yesterday, am really worried about her cause all her life she have been with us making we are okay without caring about her own life. I just pray that one of this day that she will meet someone that will understand and cherish her for the rest of her life.

Aunty Rose insisted that I should tell her what happened during the weekend that she want to hear it from the horses mouth. I told her how the weekend go and she was so happy when she heard that Sarah and I are now official. But our conversation was interrupted by an angel and if this particular person is the one assigned to interrupt peoples conversation, I don't mind been interrupted over and over again. And she is looking as gorgeous as ever, we exchange greeting with her pecking my cheek but that's not the kind of kiss I want from her. I complained about the peck I got from her, I know I sound so immature and the fact that am the man in the relationship therefore I should be in charge but I still love it when she take charge from time to time and Sarah is the type that go for what she want.

Sarah kissed me as I wanted and I want to use the opportunity to deepened the kiss but Aunty Rose reminded us of her presence by clearing her throat. I termed to forget every other things and people around me whenever am with Sarah cause it's only us that matters at the moment so long am concerned. Let me go inside my office and you still need to read out my schedule to me, I told her. She smiled at what I said cause she know that she is not just going to read schedule to me. I turned to go inside my office but I heard Aunty Rose tasking Sarah to tell her what happened during the weekend. Tsk that woman if I knew I wouldn't have tell her anything, I mumbled.

I was in my office eagerly waiting for Sarah to come, twenty five minutes later Sarah knocked and entered inside. I smiled the moment I saw her, I was waiting for you, what took you so long? I asked her although I already have an idea why she took long before coming. You know Rose is so inquisitive, she want to know everything that happened and also in details, Sarah said. I laughed at the last part cause she mimicked how Aunty Rose always say in details.

Okay no problem, come and sit down here so that I can hear what you are reading properly, I told her gesturing for her to come and sit on my laps. Sarah smiled at what am trying to do, I guess you are right you will hear me clearly if I sat down there, Sarah said playing along with me. She sat down on my laps resting her head on my shoulder with her favorite small book on her hand. Is this okay or should I come closer? She asked while laughing softly cause she is aware that she is near enough. I was rubbing her back while she read out my schedule for today to me.

When she finished reading out my schedule to me I decided to ask her to have lunch with me. Mmm you are going to have lunch with me right? I asked cause she stopped having lunch with me because of what she overheard, I just hope she will start going to lunch with me again. Am sorry but I won't be going to lunch with you today, she answered. That did not sit well with me cause I thought she already forgive me, why is she not going to lunch with me. Why? I asked her. Aww there is no need for you to look like this, I already told you that I have forgiven you and no am not punishing you or anything is just that I promised Rose that I will finish telling her everything over lunch, Sarah explained.

Oh no! Not Aunty Rose too my mother is enough competition for me, I don't need extra. But babe am your boyfriend, just tell Aunty Rose that you are going to have lunch with your boyfriend am sure that she will understand, I suggested to her. No dear promise is promise, I don't want to break my promise to Aunty Rose, from tomorrow love we will start having lunch as usual, Sarah said. I understand that she don't want to break her promise to Aunty Rose but I wish that she can have lunch with me and not her. Okay if you say so I will have my lunch alone but tomorrow there will no excuse, I told her to which she nodded in agreement.

Sarah stood up to leave when I remember that I have not tell her about my intention to visit her mother this weekend as her boyfriend and not her boss. Babe before you go, I will like to inform you that I will be visiting your mother this weekend, I told her. When I told her my intention she avoided looking at me in the eyes, that worried me. Maybe she don't want me to meet her mother. Babe is everything OK? I asked her cause she is getting me so worried now. I already promised to go shopping with your mother this weekend, she answered still not looking at me. Oh God! Not again!.
