Who Are You?
Two months later,
In the dimly lit room, the steady beeping of a monitor filled the silence, its lines moving in a flat, rhythmic pattern before spiking into sharp peaks, indicating life. The patient lay motionless on the bed, their hands and legs strapped down with thick wires, preventing any chance of escape.
Then the footsteps of two people could be heard, walking toward the room the patient was in.
The doorknob twisted, revealing a huge man clad in a fancy black suit, his hair tossed over due to the number of times he'd run his hands through it.
The man walked toward the bed where the patient was lying before his cold and distant eyes settled on the monitor.
"She'd been asleep for two months already. When is she going to wake up?" The man clad in a black suit questioned the doctor who was wearing a white doctor's coat.
