"Like you said, he's my boyfriend. Who are you to have an opinion here?" she shot back at Olivia, her tone sharp and unyielding.
Olivia's face flushed red in embarrassment as she tried to find her bearing. She'd never expected Allison to retort with such a sharp tone since the latter had never used such a tone on her before. She was simply caught off guard.
"You shouldn't talk to me like that, Allison. I'm your friend, not your enemy," Olivia defended, forcing a few tears to gather in her eyes as if Allison had raised her hand to hit her across the face.
"If you are my friend like you say you are, you would leave and let Derek and I settle our misunderstanding without you meddling, Olivia," Allison retorted, her tone still sharp and unyielding which had not only Derek and Olivia, but the other students gathered around them raising a few eyebrows.
