Undead Ruins II
Christopher and the rest Of the group continue to move deeper through the ruins.
Christopher couldn't help but admire the ancient architecture, but he also wondered what caused it to be like this.
"Ugh, the dark Mana here is really prominent." Chiara grimaced and Umbra just laughed as he was clearly enjoying himself.
"Come on sister, you can at least handle this much." Hearing this, Chiara flared at him.
"I'd like to see you keep that attitude if we enter somewhere with potent light Mana." She retorted.
At this moment, Silver suddenly snapped his fingers and a silver-white barrier suddenly appeared around the group, and then not a moment later, several arrows struck it and bounced off harmlessly.
"Can you two keep the bickering to a minimum? We have stuff to do." Silver said while rolling his eyes.
"I got it." Before the twins could say anything, Kim's body blurred as she went through the barrier and zipped across the place at incredible speeds.
On top of some of the buildings, several skeleton archers could be seen with their rotten bows drawing arrows with rusted points.
However, a blur flashed past them, And not a moment later, their heads were sent flying as Kim decapitated them with her claws.
All the archers were completely helpless as they were completely shredded under the span of a few seconds.
"Hey Silver, it seems like you have a rival in speed." Umbra said jokingly and Silver's mouth twitched.
Christopher just watched the interactions from the back and chuckled slightly.
Very quickly, Kim returned with a satisfied look on her face.
"Done!" She announced.
"Good job." Christopher rubbed her head and she giggled in enjoyment.
"Well, let's keep on moving." He stopped and said and the group proceeded once more.
However, not long after they started moving, they got ambushed once more.
This time, the lineup of enemies was more advanced.
There were several Dullahans, heavily armored skeleton knights, and in the very back, there were hooded figures resembling mages which unsurprisingly were also skeletons.
"I'll deal with this one." Christopher suddenly spoke up right before the others could charge forward.
"Aww." The twins immediately whined. Kim on the other hand had an eager look on her face.
'I can see some of Master's power!'She thought as Christopher walked ahead.
"Scarlet." He mumbled and the red tattoo of the sword glowed on his arm before the weapon appeared in his hand, the chain wrapping around the length of his arm.
The Skeleton mages rose up their bone staffs when they saw him approaching while the Dullahans and Skeleton knight's charged.
Above the mages, dark green magic circles appeared above their heads aimed in Christopher's direction, and large bone spears began to emerge.
At this point, Christopher decided to use the another sword style from the Mirage Sword Style he stuck to, just to kind of experiment.
Electricity crackled across the surface of Scarlet which soon became a deep purple color as the blue lightning and red annihilation fused.
At this point, the bone spears had been launched, and the other Undead were nearing Christopher.
Christopher however, seemed unperturbed and instead leaned his body forward, his right foot ahead and arms kept low.
"Flash style, First Form: Quickdraw." Then he vanished.
An instant later, he was behind the group of skeletons.
The Undead creatures turned to face him, but then dozens of purple lines suddenly appeared on their bodies, even the bone spears received the same treatment.
And then in the next moment, their bodies started to crumble, and in no time, all that remained was fine dust.
"W-Woah." Chiara exclaimed at the display, and she wasn't the only one who reacted like that.
'I could barely follow his movements.' Kim watched with wide eyes as Christopher straightened and stared at the aftermath of his attack.
'That was… so cool!' Her eyes brightened as she felt her heart start beating faster.
'Just Master being Master.' Silver shook his head with a smile. He was already used to Christopher doing stuff like this.
'Hm, that style is a bit more taxing stamina wise, but it isn't bad. It's definitely faster than the Mirage style. I'll keep it as a close second I guess.' He thought and felt Scarlet's bloodthirst subside a small bit.
At this point, his head suddenly snapped to a direction which was deeper in the ruins and past his mask, he raised a brow.
"Oh?" He clearly felt someone's gaze on him.
'Must be the dungeon boss. Well, at least I know where he is now.'He thought and gestured to the others.
"Let's go." Seeing this, they quickly followed after him.
But once again, the group didn't get that far before the ground suddenly began to tremble. And them from all sorts of corners in the ruins, all sorts of bone creatures started to swarm the group.
They easily numbered in the thousands and immediately surged towards the group in a tide.
'Guess we're being targeted by a necromancer.' Christopher thought and was about to use his sword once more.
However, Chiara who had already been annoyed due to the dark Mana finally lost her patience seeing the swarm.
Her Aura erupted and she raised her claws and above it, a dense white ball appeared.
"Get OUT!" She yelled and the ball of light exploded.
The entire place was illuminated as if the sun had Suddenly appeared like a massive flashbang and the others had to shield their eyes.
Meanwhile, the swarm that was the target started to disintegrate as the potent light Mana completely overpowered the Undead energy that made up their bodies. And in mere seconds, the entire swarm had been reduced to nothing but ashes.
Chiara finally let the light fade away and the group could finally see the aftermath.
"Wow sis, you really did a number on them." Umbra gave his sister a thumbs up and she snorted, though a smile was evident.
"There's a Necromancer somewhere. Actually it's more likely that it's a Lich. That's probably the boss of this place." Silver pointed out and Christopher nodded.
"It was looking at us earlier. Probably sent that swarm to at the very least drain us before we got to it." Christopher added.
"Then what are we waiting for!? I'm tired of facing fodder." Umbra said as his wings fluttered.
"Honestly, nothing. Let's go." Christopher smiled and immediately started to walk in the direction he'd felt tye gaze and the rest of the group followed along eagerly.
In the depths of the ruins in a huge square, a large bony figure seated on a throne of bones wearing a hood and a scepter in one hand and a black book in the other could be seen.
on the ground at its feet, another slightly smaller skeletal figure could be seen on its knees in front of the bigger figure.
"... Go." A single command.
But the figure on the ground immediately lifted its head, the skull having two long horns. It stood to its full height, displaying bone wings that were several meters wide.
It spun, and without a word, it stood up and shot in a certain direction.

"Oh? A big guy is coming." After a while, Silver's ears suddenly twitched and he said with a grin.
He pressed his feet into the ground and blasted forward in a flash of silver light.
Not a moment later, there was the sound of a loud explosion and the whole place trembled Violently like an earthquake had just begun.
"... I said not to destroy this place though." Christopher shook his head and rushed forward.
Kim and the twins quickly followed suit, and it didn't Take them long to reach the scene of an ongoing battle.
A silver light continuously collided with a black one and they streaked across the room at incredible speeds, far surpassing supersonic levels.
Kim immediately reared to go in, but Christopher raised a hand.
"Nah, let him have his fun." Hearing this, her ears fell, but she still complied.
"Aw come on! Is that all you can do?!" Silver yelled with a wild smile on his face.
He evaded the claws of the bone creature and went below it to grab one of its legs and shot downwards before slamming it into the ground with terrifying force.
The whole mountain shook as the creature's body shattered the ground like glass and several buildings far away started to crack.
Before the creature could get up, Silver Suddenly grabbed the thing's head and threw it into the air.
Then his fingernails grew and became sharper and silver light covered them. Then he swung them and huge claw slashes shot forward and smashed into the creature.
Several of the bones making up its body shattered as it was sent even higher up, and Silver almost seemed to teleport, because he was behind the thing in an instant.
He placed his legs on its back and grabbed its wings.
"These don't seem useful. Let me help you a bit." He said and pulled, and the bone wings of the creature were ripped off viciously.
The two of them fell to the ground once more stirring up a bunch of dust. And when it cleared, Silver could be seen holding the bone creature up by the neck.
"Alright, that's enough of that." Then, his Lunar magic surged and covered the body of the creature, and slowly, it began to compress.
It tried to struggle, but to no avail as in a few short moments, it's whole body had been ground down to bone dust.
Silver let it fall and turned to return to the group, a satisfied Smile on his face.
'... How vicious.' Christopher couldn't help but think.
