Aftermath Of The Fight

(1st Person POV)

"What?!?!? But why? Why are you expelling the three of us from this school? You think I don't know what's going on here? You have been influenced by that cocksucker Oswald's dad, right?"

As I said this, my fists slammed on the table in front of me and from the reactions of Felix and Gray sitting beside me, I must have been flowering at the people sitting in front of me in rage.

The Principal and Vice-Principal sitting in front of me got startled and their soul nearly sprung out of their body.

The cowardly principal with sweat trickling down his face wiped his forehead with his handkerchief and answered in a scared tone," The victims are reporting that they were assaulted by you three students and there are several witnesses too which can support their statement. We are a reputable school and according to our guidelines, any assault done on the school premises would be considered unforgivable. Testimony for the assault is needed from at least three witnesses. The punishment to the perpetrator may range from suspension to permanent expulsion and will be decided on the severity of the assault."

"What kind of bullshit is that? Why don't you check the CCTV camera footage from the 4 cameras in our classroom?"

He gave me a toothy smirk and said," Unfortunately, that day's security file has been corrupted. We couldn't salvage the footage of the situation."

I seethed at him with anger, and said in a threatening voice, "I know, you must have been bribed by that city representative. What if I report this to some news channel and the whole nation gets to know that one of the top science middle schools is taking bribes in such a situation? What will you do then?"

"You can't. All the major news channels will deny broadcasting this news for fear of offending the city representative. The evidence and witnesses are on our side as well. " He replied to me with confidence.

'Haaa... Of course, I knew that this geezer was sharp. How could a school become one of the top science middle schools if its principal is not competent at all? I should have just beaten those dipshits so much that it would give them PTSD and they would jump a bit at the slightest mention of my name. They wouldn't even have the courage to report me.'

(A/N - PTSD ( Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) is a mental health condition that's triggered by a terrifying event — either experiencing it or witnessing it.

I grabbed the tie of the principal sitting in front of me and pulled him towards me with a jerk. I whispered in his ears, "You should be careful when you roam outside this school and your home. "

His face turned pallid as he pushed me away from him and shouted in a deafening tone, "Do you think you can get away with this!? If I want to, I can get all three of you locked in jail!"

I taunted him back, "You are free to try that. But remember, if I go down, I sure as well will take you with me."

Stephen and Gray who were sitting beside me were gaping in shock with their mouths open.

I signalled them to stand up and follow me out of the room.

As we walked outside in the hallway, a few moments of silence happened until an outburst came out of Stephen.

Stephen said in a panicked tone, "Felix, you can't do things like that! The principal has lots of connections in the higher society. Can't he put a criminal charge on us and we would be kinda fucked?"

While Stephen was on a roll of words, Gray beside him started laughing.

Both of us looked at him in surprise considering Gray had always been the quiet one, he didn't show his emotions openly. Small actions and words were the indicators of it.

Gray said to me in a thankful tone, "Thanks, Felix. What you did with the Principal gave me some relief to me. I hope worse things happen to him."

Listening to that, Stephen also started laughing loudly. Laughter was one of the ways both Stephen and Gray could use to get rid of the troubling events they had faced that say."

After Stephen had his fill of laughing, I asked them, " Are both of you, alright? I mean, one of your friends Bryce just backstabbed you today."

Gray had a smile that was full of self-mockery and said," I saw many signs which showed that Bryce had a lot of egos and he was jealous of Stephen. I just chose to turn myself away from reality and live in my delusions. "

Stephen also said that he already come to terms with Bryce's betrayal after the night he was beaten up.

After a bit, Stephen in his usual cheery voice says, "Why don't we go to Gray's house and play PX4 there?"

(A/N - PS4 is mentioned in the form of PX4 in the webtoon.)

Gray agreed with a nod and both of them looked towards me.

I agree with that proposal with a smile.

(Gray's House)

Wow, Gray's house is pretty luxurious and big.

I asked Gray," Will your parents mind if we come unannounced?"

Gray replies in an annoyed voice, "No, they are not usually here and even if they were, they wouldn't care about their son's friends."

Stephen gives me a sign by shaking his head vigorously that I touched a sore point for Gray and shouldn't delve further into Gray's family matters.

We entered the house and then settled on the ground with a mat.

I ask," What are we playing?"

Gray showed me a manual that had 'Tekken' written on it in bold words.

"Uh, but guys. I don't know how to play it."

Stephen looked at me and said," Just see me and Gray play first, then you can play after you know some combos. You can also look through the manual."

I opened the manual in front of me and skimmed through it.

After the round which Gray won easily.

Stephen whined a bit about how Gray just basically cheats by remembering all the combos.

He gave me the console and said with a mischievous smile that he would now enjoy someone else losing to Gray.

I took the console, got a bit of a feel of it and then the round started... I just pressed the buttons at random and hoped that those would make a combo somehow.

After my huge loss, I handed the console back to Stephen who is still laughing at me for being this bad at playing games.

While I was watching them play, I realised that Gray had great observational skills. He analysed what his opponent was gonna do and did the exact counter to it.

'Wait a minute, I just got an epiphany...

What if he goes against a person who can observe 1000 times faster than him? It would be a landslide defeat for Gray.'

I went through the manual and learnt all the basic buttons and a couple of beginner combos.

Before the round started, I activated my first ability and then started playing.

When I opened my eyes, I could feel like I can observe every single pixel on the TV Screen. I focussed on Gray's hands properly and could see the move he would do, every twitch of his fingers showed me the possible actions that can happen in the Tekken Game.

'Upper Cut, Dodge, Juggle, One-Two, Upper Again, Link, Shield, Rage Uppercut'

I could see him doing these moves, so I employed the exact counter of it. Not surprisingly at all, he was not able to attack my avatar at all. I smiled satisfactorily and kept draining all of his health.

Both Stephen and Gray were shocked at how I could combat Gray's moves on just my second try...

Though this doesn't keep up for long, soon my ability stops and I lose the rounds later on.

Stephen attributed it to beginner's luck and lamented the fact that he did not get this sort of luck when he was playing with Gray. We play for hours and then have dinner together.

After that, I go to my own home, take a shower and go to sleep.

What an eventful and hectic day it was...
