Driving through the busy city streets, Mark glanced at Lilith, who was clad in her signature black dress, basking in the sunlight from the passenger seat. Accompanying them were his five vampire minions, now acting as Lilith's bodyguard, all curiously observing pedestrians on the sidewalks. Despite being in disguise with sunglasses to conceal their black eyes, Mark doubted its necessity, considering some goth individuals filed their teeth and even tattooed black ink on their eyes. Mark was en route to one of Lilith's lairs to personally instruct her minions to hibernate, putting an end to the attacks and ensuring strict obedience.
Arriving at one of the abandoned buildings, they stopped and went inside. The place was, as usual, dark. He spotted another feeding station. Mark repeated the process with the victims; if they were dying, his minions could turn them. If they were male, they should rest in peace. Those he marked with the tattoo didn't seem to have the urge for revenge or go ballistic. The fate of the males he wasn't sure about, so he let them die peacefully. If he were to encounter those who weren't seriously injured, his plan was to provide first aid and let them go, but such individuals were rare, and he hadn't found them yet. These vampires were truly fucking savage.
He wasn't worried about them going to the authorities and reporting. Lilith had familiars with connections, a prospect that was intimidating if you found yourself on the wrong side of her. That's why he was puzzled about how easily she got beaten in the movie. Perhaps it was her arrogance; she clearly possessed it. Mark couldn't help but look at Lilith standing there majestically, conveying the new rules to her followers. Because of that, he couldn't resist the urge to bully her again. After she finished instructing her followers on the do's and don'ts, he pulled Lilith into one of the rooms.
While Mark is in the middle of the royal court meeting with Lilith, they hear gunshots outside the room. The screeching of vampires echoes, along with the repeated sounds of automatic gunfire. Suddenly, a grenade explodes with a booming sound.
"Well, that was surprising," Mark jokes behind Lilith. She growls in annoyance, the sound muffled under the pillow as she stays in a face-down, ass-up position. Quickly, Lilith and he dress, heading outside. As they close in on the scene, they see broken walls and sunlight streaming through the room, causing some vampires to be burned to a crisp.
"No! Why are you okay?" The voice of a woman in disbelief, tinged with despair, is heard.
Arriving there, Mark saw the attackers dispatched by his minions—all of them killed except the woman, who was being held in place by Iris. Abby approached him with an enthusiastic jump and told him, "Master, we caught you a new plaything," grinning widely, then bowed to Lilith. He lightly bumped her on the head.
"I told you to call me boss. What happened?" Mark asked curiously, surveying the chaos.
"Okay, master," Abby put out her tongue in jest and continued, "Out of nowhere, they barged in the place and started attacking us. We had more player on our side. When they found themselves backed into a corner, they thought they could finish us off by using sunlight after tearing down the walls. Pretty silly." Abby mocked their futile effort. The woman whimpered, looking at Lilith and the female vampires, not bothered by the glow of the rays.
Mark surveyed the surroundings once again, studying the attackers who were now lifeless. He recognized them—they were the vampire hunters from the second movie. "Poor guys," he mused, realizing they would have succeeded if he hadn't removed one of his minion's fatal weaknesses.
{I know them. They're one of Dane's,} Lilith informed with slight annoyance, referring to a human turned vampire with the sole purpose of destroying her and her followers. Mark nodded at Lilith and turned to the woman hunter.
"Sorry about your friends. You should've prepared more when hunting vampires, especially a high-powered UV lamp. It's easier dealing with vampires with that," Mark said, looking at the scared woman. The woman, now crying, thought so too.
"It still wouldn't do shit against those things," she said angrily, referring to Lilith and the other minions immune to sunlight. "And why are you with them? Are you Lilith's bug eater?! Do you want to be like them?! Monsters who treat humans as a source of food!" she accused. The vampires all smirked
"Err, not really. How do I say this. Lilith and I have an agreement. She'll restrain her brood while I stop killing her minions. As a matter of fact, she already commanded her followers here to do just that. Your group shouldn't have come," Mark explained.
"You say it like it's really true. Why believe her? And who are you? Lilith agrees to that term? You're just a human like us," she said, clearly not buying into his story.
"I'm a very strong human. I single-handedly destroyed Marlow's brood. You know of Marlow, right?" Mark asked, and she nodded, still in disbelief.
"I 'beat' Lilith without her putting up any resistance, so she really has no choice but to comply," Mark declared, winking at Lilith. She responded with the left side of her upper lip curved upward, revealing her sharp teeth. Lilith glanced at the woman one last time, then left with the others, leaving them alone.
The woman looked at their departing figures and then faced Mark, asking, "What would happen to me? Is this the time where you hang me in the vampire station to bleed?" She said, scared and seemingly having given up hope.
"No, lady," Mark approached her and wiped her tears. She instinctively backed up, but Mark's hand was faster, gently wiping away her tears.
"You can leave. No one here will stop you. Tell Dane he doesn't have to worry about Lilith and his minions again. If they walk out of line, I'll handle it myself," Mark said, guiding her outside.
"Is this for real? Or just false hope you're giving?" the woman asked.
"It's real. Come on," Mark assured her. The woman chose to cling to the hope that it's real.
"Wait. I need to get my friends' remains. I need to bury them," the woman said, tears flowing again. Mark sighed at the sight, helping her wrap her friends and carrying them to their vehicle. The woman sat in the driver's seat, still not believing she was released just like that. She looked at Mark standing outside the side window.
"Thank you," the woman said softly.
"You're welcome," Mark said with a signature smile. "I'm Mark. What do you call yourself, beautiful lady?" He extended his hand in a courteous gesture.
The woman's fingers met Mark's as she shook his hand. She chuckled softly, her eyes meeting his. "I'm Amber. Thanks, I should be going." With a grateful smile, Amber signaled her intention to leave, releasing his hand with a sense of gratitude.
"Take care, Amber," Mark said, smiling. He watched her drive away, chuckling as he remembered her real-life actress. In his original time, she's already a hot milf. Mark is very interested in her, and because he's a helpful man, he knows she's all alone now and needs comfort. He plans to find the time to get to know her more. Having already marked her with a tattoo, he can find her whenever he wants.
Whistling a tune, he went back to Lilith to continue their fun. The burned vampires had already revived, and she reminded them to change place after sundown. Seeing them comply, she gave a certain look to Mark. Eagerly catching her subtle signal, he swiftly followed her as she made her way back to the 'court chamber'.
At dusk, Amber arrived at Dane's safehouse, appearing exhausted not from fatigue but from the ordeal her friends had faced. Unconsciously standing before the door, she tapped it and patiently waited. A moment later, the door slid open, revealing Dane's surprised expression and an air of defeat. After scanning the surroundings, he ushered her inside.
"What happened?" Dane inquired, concern etched on his face.
"They're gone. Our raid was a disaster. They all got killed. I only survived because a human friend took a 'liking' to me," Amber remarked mockingly.
"A human? Can you explain everything that happened?" Dane's interest piqued. Amber proceeded to recount every detail from their infiltration of the Vampire's lair to Mark escorting her out.
"Are you sure they're immune to sunlight?" Dane questioned, a hint of disbelief in his tone.
"I'm fucking sure, Dane. I saw it all. I'm not making this shit up," Amber asserted, annoyed at the lack of trust. She continued, "I think I need to rest for a while. When the vampires captured me and I felt helpless, I realized I'm not cut out for vampire hunting. Besides, Mark told me to convey that he has the vampires under control."
"You believe him?" Dane asked incredulously.
"A little. I've come face-to-face with Lilith. You told me she's ruthless and doesn't take hostages. In the best-case scenario, one gets ripped from the head, and in the worst case, suspended bleeding at one of their feeding stations. That didn't happen. Based on their dynamics, I think Mark is their leader now, unbelievably as it may sound," Amber explained.

Another week passed, filled with hanging out with the girls and vampire chicks, including the new addition, Amber.
Then, he spent another day getting along with the girls in the dawn of the dead world.
They enjoyed their time together before embarking on his next adventure.
AN:
Dear degens,
I'm sad(not) to say that this fanfic has come to an end. I hope some of you enjoyed the MC's journey. Personally, I find the "golden finger" with the main character exhausting to think about with all the points and shits.
Plus, I've searched extensively and can't seem to find another fic that interests me right now. So, I've decided to start a new fanfic about world hopping soon. Sometimes, if you can't find something to read, you just have to write it yourself!
(Give me suggestions for the worlds, be it movie or tv series)
Best wishes,
Long Dong
