Chunin Exam Pt.1

today is the day the Chunin exam will be held, and that small skirmish with the ninja from the Sand village is just like in the original.

the only difference is now Garaa is not just focused on Sasuke because he could feel that Naruto is strong.

after completing that mission Kaoru may not be teaching Naruto directly but he keeps giving him some hints to make sure those old pests don't feel suspicious.

Sasuke who feels left behind also asked Kakashi to teach him, the only one who didn't grow is Sakura, what she needs now is not an increase in power but personality growth.

he is tempted to ask Kakashi or Kurenai to put Sakura in the illusion to let her see all her ugly side to let her grow and accept it.

in the first exam, there is no difference from the canon story.

and in the second exam, every Jounin instructor gathered in one place where they would spectate all the participants.

when Kaoru waits for the time to move suddenly someone is talking to him.

"Kaoru-kun, do you think how many Genin will pass this exam?" The one who talks to him is Kurenai, the teacher of team 8.

"I don't know but I believe my team will pass this exam" Kaoru's confidence is not baseless, after that hurtful training everyone in team 10 becomes stronger especially for Ino since she could use Shintenshin without passing out now.

"HAHAHA, Such confidence! all YOUTH need that kind of spirit!"

After the exam starts and all the participants enter the forest Kaoru chooses to make his first move and begins to leave the room, but someone holds him.

"Where are you going, Jounin Kaoru?" Hiruzen looks at Kaoru who wants to leave the room and asks his reason.

Kaoru didn't want to talk with this old scum, but he is still the Hokage, and Kaoru have to answer him even if he didn't want it.

"I just want to hunt the snake!" Hearing that word Hiruzen and some Jounin make serious faces because they understand what he means.

without waiting for their response, Kaoru leaves the room immediately and moves towards the examination place.

inside the forest, team 10 who got stronger than the canon already completed their task and wanted to go to the tower, but they stopped when they heard the sound of fighting.

Ino who is already better than both of her teammates in detection recognizes that Chakra is from team 7 but for their enemy Ino feels something strange.

the Chakra decreases and increases randomly as if the user is in disguise or using a puppet technic but the problem is she could feel the aura of a living being from the opponent.

if it's a clone that uses a disguise technique or a puppet jutsu it shouldn't have the aura of a human or living being.

"Shikamaru, Naruto's team is fighting a strange opponent ahead, but my feeling told me to run far away no matter what happens"

hearing Ino's words both Chouji and Shikamaru turn serious, both of them know that her feelings or maybe instinct is too sharp to the point that their teacher told them that it's fine to trust her feelings when it comes to a life-death situation.

after thinking hard Shikamaru makes a decision "Let's go help them, even if your instinct tells no, but they are our friend."

Chouji also agrees with Shikamaru, if it's their former self they will run without a second thought, but Kaoru taught them that they are human first before shinobi.

so it's fine to be selfish and make a mistake when they are young if they believe that helping their friend is the best route, they should just take it.

but the main reason Shikamaru chose that stupid decision is that they are inside Konoha, even if the chance for an infiltrator to appear at the Chunin exam exists but it's too small.

that's fine if no one passed the exam but if there are too many casualties it will tarnish the village name so there must be a guard to make sure the losses are not that high.

and the higher-ups also knew that Naruto is a jinchuriki, There is no way for them to let him die in a mere Chunin exam, especially in his village.

seeing that both her teammates choose to confront the enemy Ino could only sigh and promise to beat them later if they were still alive.

On Team 7 side, their condition is very bad, Naruto is missing, and Sasuke is also injured.

Sakura is the only one who could fight but she is not strong enough, and their opponent is very strong.

at first, that person introduced herself as Orochimaru, but Sakura who was familiar with the story of the legendary sannin and Orochimaru should be a man feels this person is not that legendary person.

and then her feeling is proven wrong after Sasuke blows up his disguise Sakura believes that their opponent is one of the legendary sannin, the real Orochimaru.

"Kukuku, your power exceeds my expectations Sasuke-kun, It seems Itachi is right to let you stay alive"

In the beginning, even when fighting against a person on the level of sannin, Sasuke could stay calm, but hearing the name he hated the most instantly made Sasuke lose his reason.

"HOW DID YOU KNOW ABOUT THAT NAME, WHERE IS HE, TELL ME NOW!!!"

Sasuke who loses all his reason is like a blind beast that only knows how to attack everything and everywhere.

for Orochimaru playing with a kid's heart is very easy, especially for someone like Sasuke, and looking at Sasuke who only care about his revenge only give Orochimaru more idea to get him.

"Kukuku, come and defeat me then I will tell you everything, Show me your true self, Uchiha Sasuke!"

and then Sasuke keeps spamming several Jutsu at Orochimaru, but it's useless, even if he is being taught by Kakashi it's still impossible for a Genin to win against someone like Orochimaru.
