"Yes I did It!" Lisanne shouted while sliding down the essence stone inside the dogs head. "I'm so scared I never even got to breath"
"My plan was almost flawless, I was too careless. Luckily it all went according to plan" Jacob remarked. "Get the gene core from the beast, We should be leaving here soon."
"Can you?" Lisanne said sheepishly, "Blood makes me feel faint, the sight is unsettling for me"
'Didn't she just impale that thing with a smile on her face?' Jacob wondered mentally. "Fine, whatever."
Jacob went towards the beast's chest and pulled out his gene core before tossing it to Lisanne.
"How are we going to leave now?" Lisanne asked as she caught the gene core stuffing it into her bag.
Jacob never had an answer for her as yet, they would have to walk a long way in the opposite direction or try to find some sort of shortcut. Though it was unlikely.
While he was thinking he heard footsteps and voices coming from the entrance.
