Her First Day-2

We were walking towards the office while suddenly i realized something was off with this place because yesterday only i was the one who got interviewed so i thought i should ask jungkook if i was thinking right ..i was in my thoughts while jungkook waved his hands in front of my face i sighed and turned towards him to ask ..

"Jungkook can i perhaps ask you something if you don't mind ?? " i said

"It depends on what you want to know ,,if you want to know am i single then -he stared at me for a second and said "yes i am" and started laughing

i just blinked for a second then asked " its not that jungkook ..its about me being only candidate for the interview and i was thinking why ?" i said hesitently.

He just stared me for a while and was about say something but got cut off from his phone notification and he glanced at me then he said " we will talk about it later and don't get stressed over these things on your first day "

i just nodded and smiled as we enter the office..

He bid me goodbye before going to Ceo's cabin and i went to my workspace with my coffee then i started to check old project files to get an idea about previous project financial strategy so that i can do my work with out any complications since i will be starting the work for such a huge new venture .

I was doing my work when Ms.jung came and said "I'm happy to know you actually came to work because previous candidates didn't show-up " and started laughing.

I was just staring at her for a while because i was just shocked because of her comment

"what happened Ms.park are you ok ,,you are not happy to talk with me i guess " she said.

I blinked for a second then said "No ..No Ms.jung it's not that way ,, i was just thinking what should i think of what you just said "

"Ohh ..okk but what i said was for fun don't think too much about it "she said in a weird tone

I just nodded and she left but its weird about what she said -any way i decided just to continue my work since project is going to start in month or two so..

~Time skip~

At lunch hour

I was sitting with my new junior colleague jia and were discussing about work stuff when jungkook waved at me and asked me that can he join us .

I smiled at me and signed him to come ..he came and sat next to me while giving a small smile to jia..jia excused us because she got a call from her boyfriend ..

I was just staring at her walking figure and thought she is so lucky that her boy friend atleast remember to call her and he is not like hee so .

"So are dreaming or you perhaps thinking about something " jungkook said suddenly

I came out of my thoughts and told him what Ms.Jung said to me.

He wanted to say something to me again but before that jia cameback so he told me to meet me after work at cafe and we continued to talk while eating and partways after lunch hour.

After lunch i was busy with work and spent whole day with analyzing old data and new financial strategy.

I got a message from yuna asking me to go with her shopping after work and then i saw time its almost time to go home ,,

I texted her "i cant come today i have to go to cafe with my colleague after work ".

"Ohh someone is already having a date on her first day at office "she text back.

"God whats wrong with you ,,did you perhaps forgot i have boyfriend and also jungkook is just my friend from work " i texted her.

"You mean Jeon jungkook??" she asked me

"do you know him & how ?" i asked her..

My phone started ringing and i saw jungkook was calling ..

I picked the call

Me- Hey

Jk- Hi aaina done with work i called you to remind you about our meeting after work.

Me- Ya i'm almost done & i'll see you at cafe.

JK- Ok then see ya

I saw 6 miscalls from yuna and called back but didn't connect ,,,i thought she called me to tease and thought of calling her after reaching home.

I finished my work and saw everyone else is already left so i quickly grabbed my bag and started walking towards lift .

I saw under maintenance board near employees lift and sighed i thought of walking down stairs but got my legs jelly thinking about 25 floors .

I called Jungkook and told about lift so he suggested to go to another emergency lift in rightside of corridor and i thanked him started walking towards it once i was there i was confused for a while because of two lifts anyways i was in hurry so i pressed the button on lift side..

Lift door open and i was shocked...

"Not today i whispered to myself but i was in hurry so i entered the lift"

"Why are you in lift ?" he asked

i just stood not interested to answer him

"I said why are you in this lift "he said sounding pissed because i didn't answered him

I turned around and said in frustrated tone "You are reacting as if you are some Ceo of this building and even if you are lift is for everyone's convenience isn't it"

"How dare you to talk to me in this tone,,don't you know who i'm ??" he said angrily

"I don't know and its good if i don't anyway "i said mockingly smiling

He was about to say something but lift reached parking area and door opened

I was about to walk outside and saw jungkook shocked seeing me in lift..

"what happened jungkook ?" i asked
