PROPOSAL

Aliya continued to try to free herself from his grip but his hands were bigger than hers and due to the fact that she was sick she didn't have her full strength.

Thinking about her sickness an idea popped on her head and she then changed her expression to one of pain.

"My head hurts" She whispered softly for him to hear as she closed her eyes.

Skyler immediately freed her hands and touch her head, His face was filled with worry as he looked at her.

"Let me go get the pain killers" Skyler said but before he could move Aliya had already moved to the other side of the seat and this time she crossed her hands firmly on her chest.

Skyler turned and he then saw the grin on Aliya's face, he was suppose to be angry but somehow just seeing her face like that made him calm.

But he wasn't going to let her go easily, Skyler then leaned his face closer from the side and when he was close to her ears he whispered.

"You lied to me Aliya...Bad girl. You need to be punished" Skyler whispered in her ears and then bit her earlobes gently before pulling away.

"Joe could you pls hurry up" Skyler said to the driver as he then crossed his legs to which the driver responded by picking the pace.

Aliya was quiet the entire ride as she contemplated on what kind of punishment she would be receiving tonight, last time he couldn't complete the punishment because of some certain things.

Aliya couldn't deny the fact that she was indeed anticipating his punishment, she wanted to know the kind of punishment he would be giving her.

The car came to a halt in front of the building and the driver came to open the door for them. Skyler was the first to get down and he stretched his hand out for Aliya but she didn't take it and just got down on her own.

Skyler grinned when he saw her behaviour and he then turned to the driver, he dipped his hand in his pocket and brought out some money and then gave it to him.

"You can go home, rest for now. I won't be going out for now" Skyler said as he handed the money to the driver.

The driver took the money happily and then gave the keys to his boss.

"Thank you sir" He said as he then gave a slight bow to both his boss and the lady beside him.

"Let's go"Skyler said and then both him and Aliya headed to the elevator. They stopped at the top floor, Skyler's apartment and they both entered. Aliya went straight to the room as she needed to change because she still wasn't use to wearing things like this inside.

Skyler just watched her and a knowing smile curved on his lips, he dropped the keys on the counter and then he began to bring out things that he could use to cook.

Aliya entered the room and then began to pull of her clothes piece by piece. She then stared at her reflection in the mirror and she could see the small red marks on he jawline, images from when they were in the office flashed in her eyes and heat crept up her cheeks.

Aliya then changed into her house wear which was a big top and shorts.

She then packed her hair in a bun and left the room. She then entered the kitchen and saw Skyler chopping some vegetables. Aliya cringed when she saw them and her insides Chun.

"I don't like vegetables" Aliya said when she had reached his side and Skyler then glanced at her, but it was more than a glance when he continued to look at her, his eyes traced from her toes to her milky thighs, he then shifted his gaze to her face and then saw the red mark he had imprinted.

"Does it hurt?" He asked softly as he looked at her with his grey eyes that had mellowed down.

Aliya then shook her head and she could still see the doubt in his eyes.

"It doesn't hurt, infact I like it" Aliya said and her eyes widened when she realized what she had said. She had openly told him that she liked it, it was already late and she couldn't take the words back not that she wanted to.

Skyler grinned when he saw her facial expression and a light chuckle escaped his lips before he went back to cooking.

"Why don't you like vegetables?" Skyler asked as he continued to chop the greens.

"It's not my thing" Aliya simply replied as she then grabbed an apron by the side and put it on.

"Well it's going to be your thing for the next three days" Skyler said to which Aliya couldn't find words to retort.

"What can I help you with?" Aliya asked as she tied the apron behind her.

"You are still unwell Aliya, you need rest." Skyler said trying to dismiss her without being rude.

"But I want to help I can't let you cook all by yourself" Aliya said as she tried to find things to do. When in truth she didn't know what to do, she wasn't a fan of cooking and she couldn't remember the last time she had made an edible meal.

"Why not? just think of me as a caring boyfriend who is making brunch for his girlfriend because she is unwell" Skyler said and Aliya froze on the spot.

Yes she had agreed to give him a second chance but hearing him call her his girlfriend sounded weird in her ears.

Skyler who noticed the way she tensed up when he called her his girlfriend cursed himself inside.

"I'm sorry...I shouldn't have said that, Just go wait in the couch I'll be done soon" Skyler said as he shifted his gaze from her and looked at the the veggies he was chopping.

Aliya didn't want to make it hard for him so she left and positioned herself on the couch.

Skyler continued to curse himself for being so stupid, he didn't want to push or force her into anything. That night he had asked her to give him a second chance but he didn't ask her to be his girlfriend yet. He would do that soon, he wished he could do it right now but she was still sick and he wanted the proposal to be perfect and so he would wait till she was okay.

His mind drifted off to the past when he had first met her.

He had come to visit his uncle for the Christmas Eve when he saw her. She had come to meet his cousin to wish them a happy Christmas Eve and that was when they first saw each other. He was in the living room when he saw a little head poking from the door trying to peep.

He then heard them discussing and his interest was piqued. He tried to listen but he couldn't hear them clearly.

"Aliya" A tiny voice was heard and Skyler turned his head towards his little cousin who was running towards one of the girls outside.

Skyler watched as he saw his cousin run to the shy girl who had been peeping since.

Skyler just watched without a comment as he saw a pair of hands catch his cousin.

"Aliya...Aliya come see" His cousin said as she dragged Aliya into the living room. Skyler was stunned when he saw the girl called Aliya. She had a baby face and it would make one to doubt her age. Her blue eyes were perfect with her black silky hair. Her skin was pale white under the living room light.

She looked so innocent as her eyes scanned the living room, she then looked at him but she quickly adverted her

gaze, she was so shy, he thought as he couldn't help but be amazed.

"Aliya...this is my cousin Kai, Today's his birthday" The little girl told Aliya with her cheerful voice.

"Happy birthday... Kai" Aliya said as she tried to hide the pink rose on her cheek when she noticed his gaze on her.

Skyler took time before he responded to her.

"Thank you" He replied as he continued to look at her.

Aliya tried her best to look away but there was something in those grey eyes that were drawing her closer.

"Aliya let's go" The little girl called as she tucked her shirt.

Aliya shifted her attention back to the little girl and then passed a smile at Kai before she followed the girl out.

That smile took his breath away and after that day he had decided that he must have her as he couldn't get her out of his head.

He had talked to her that night during the Christmas Eve party. They both talked a lot and he got to know her more, he was already into her and he wanted her.

The smile she gave him that night was the most beautiful he had ever seen. He glanced at her over the couch and another smile curved on his lips.

He had promised her in the past that he won't leave her but he failed and now he wasn't going to fail again. She was back in his arms and he wasn't going to let her go.
