"This is bad news!! What on earth is she thinking?!," Esmeralda thought in shock due to Viola's large Mana quantity.
Even Dante was surprised at her expression and knew something was up.
Jason and Zhu Li were still brawling, oblivious to the young girl unsheathing her sword slightly and standing in a samurai striking pose.
...…••••••••••••••••••••••....
The sword was a very sharp blade and had a golden handle, with a dragon carved on it.
It bore the Japanese kanji which translated to "The One who eats The Chaos Lord" because it is believed to have been used to defeat Zelda, the Chaos Lord, but no one knows who forged this weapon.
Viola happened to have discovered it at the age of 10, when she stumbled upon the sword buried close to her village deep in an ancient forest -close to the border between Pardour and Everrune.
...…••••••••••••••••••••••....
Viola then muttered:
The sun always shines the brightest at dawn
And shines the lowest at dusk
So shall my sword shine the brightest
As my enemies shall fall in swiftness
At this point, Esmeralda knew what was up and yelled at Jason and Zhu Li, "Both of you, leave there immediately!!"
Dante was worried and tried to analyze the situation but couldn't find anything to conclude so he watched on.
After Viola said this, a large golden figure illuminated around her resembling the Buddha with a giant sword.
She then yelled, "Cutting Enlightenment!!," and slashed her sword.
The figure also made that move and a large slash of light followed that path and aimed towards Zhu Li and Jason.
Jason realized this at the last second and dodged quickly; Zhu Li however was inflicted by the attack and knocked him out instantly.
After that attack, Viola stood up and looked at her result: Zhu Li was unconscious but Jason was unaffected by the attack.
She became slightly disappointed but said, "As expected of the student of The Light Stabber, you're quite a versatile one."
Jason then responded, "I don't know what all that was about, but you don't seem like a passive type."
He then asked her, "What exactly was that attack, anyway?," while maintaining a safe distance from her.
Viola then said, "What I did was basically unleashed all of the Mana I harvested into my sword as one big slash."
"Only a certain type of people can detect my attack, much more see it manifested."
Jason then exclaimed, "So that explains the vast energy I felt while battling—"
He then paused and started looking around saying, "Wait a minute. Where's that dude I was facing?"
"He's right over there," Viola said as she pointed behind Jason.
When he turned, he saw a huge vast of vines intertwined around each other on the west wall of the colosseum and Zhu Li was unconscious and wrapped around it.
"What is that?! What did you do to him?!," Jason nervously asked Viola, who suddenly seemed off and not her usual quiet self.
She started slowly walking towards him and said, "I basically made him immobile and he's unable to listen or feel anything as we speak."
"The best part is, those vines would continue to tighten and feast on him slowly!!," Viola started laughing hysterically, which struck fear into everyone, even Esmeralda.
"I've got to stop her!!, she said as she tried casting a spell to get herself down at the arena.
But suddenly, her spell was cancelled and she looked at the fighting area and gasped.
There was a giant barrier surrounding the arena, making it impossible for anyone to get inside and even hear any word from those inside.
She also saw Viola gazing directly at her, with an evil gaze.
Her hair was flowing freely and wildly and her right eye was revealed; instead of her eye to be green, it had a blood red color with a glowing symbol resembling bat wings.
Esmeralda -realizing what was that symbol represented- just stood there, motionless and breathing slowly.
Dante had to shake her to get her thoughts back in check.
"Listen, I don't know what's going on, but you have some explaining to do!!"
