In the belly of the beast : Part Two

Outside of the snake's stomach, Vincent and Jason's Werewolf form were trying their hardest to land a possible hit on Endo, but all to no avail.

Vincent was pushed back by Endo's snake body and was clearly angry at the situation.

"Why can't we land a hit on him?! It's literally impossible to do so!!," he thought.

Then, he looked at Jason's Werewolf beside him and thought to it, "We need to find his weakness. Any ideas?"

The Werewolf just whined and later shook its head, indicating it had no clue on what's their opponent's vital point is.

As they were still wondering, a large shadow appeared before them, which made them disperse from their spot as soon as the source of the shadow landed very hard.

It was Endo, who had shrunk himself during the discussion and reappeared in the air to attempt a crushing blow on the unsuspecting duo.

"I'm impressed with your sensory abilities!! It's far better than I expected!! But that doesn't mean it's enough to evade!!," Endo retorted as Vincent and Jason's Werewolf prepared to strike.

This time, however, Vincent looked carefully at Endo and realized something.

"I got it!! His human body!! That's his weakness!! Now I just need to find a way to get to him while avoiding that snake body of his…..," and his thinking was interrupted by the Werewolf growling, as if it was in agreement with Vincent's plan and had an idea on its own.

Vincent listened carefully in his mind, smirked and said, "It may be crazy, but it's worth a shot!!"

"Alright then!! Aim for the target!!," he shouted at the Werewolf, which growled in reply as they both dashed towards Endo.

"You just don't learn, do you?! Nothing can injure me!! I have an impenetrable defense!! Now die by my hands, vampire!!," Endo yelled as he launched his snake body towards the incoming duo.

"Now!!," Vincent yelled and Jason's Werewolf suddenly dodged the snake and was aimed towards Endo himself, who quickly deduced their plan.

"They're trying to use a distraction for my snake body and allow that mutt to attack me head-on!! Bold but stupid!!," he concluded and prepared to launch a fatal strike into the Werewolf.

Suddenly, the Werewolf disappeared and in its place, was Vincent!!

"Bet you didn't expect that!! Now it's time to defeat you!!," Vincent said to Endo being pleased after activating his Shadow Step.

But Endo was smiling devilishly and yelled, "Come at me with all you got!!," as he was lunging for Vincent.

The collision ended up with the both of them piercing each other with their respective hands and coughing blood.

"You're a strong one!! Just as I expected from a Sanguinarian!!," he said in laughter as he coughed blood.

But his eyes flared as he saw Jason's Werewolf suddenly approaching the underside of the snake's belly, apparently trying to attack it.

"Get away from there, you mutt!!," he yelled.

But it was too late for him, as the Werewolf plunged its fangs into the underside of the snake, making it hiss in pain and Endo feeling it as well.

"Damn you, you dog!!," and motioned his snake to hit the Werewolf away from it.

Meanwhile, for all the events leading up to that point, Maki was still holding the two kids as they were trapped by the slowly rising stomach acid.

"Miss, what will happen to us? Will we see our mommy again?," the young girl said, amidst tears.

She looked at the brother, who was close to tears as well but tried so hard to look tough.

Maki then brushed her eyes and said to the girl, "Everything's gonna be fine. And I'll make sure you meet your mother again, I swear it!!"

That at least calmed the girl down as Maki hugged both siblings while the acid was getting closer to their spot.

Suddenly, a large rumbling occurred and shook the entire area in the snake's first stomach.

"What's going on out there…," and was interrupted by a large set of teeth appearing i front of them.

That frightened all of them but the teeth quickly disappeared as well.

Maki wasn't sure about what just happened, but that made her have an idea.

She turned to the kids and said, "Now listen to me!! We're getting out of this place, but I need you to comply with everything I say!! Got it?!," which they nodded in response.

Maki was pleased but later turned to the direction of the second stomach's entrance and saw the acid rising slowly and entering the first stomach.

Knowing they did not have a lot of time left, she tore a piece of fabric from her dress, gave it to the boy and told the kids, "Grab this, make a face mask for each of yourselves and get on my back. We're leaving, now!!"
