"Your first day at work will be tomorrow. You will be assigned to a T.O. I look forward to working with you in the future", a middle-aged beauty said to me while shaking my hands.
I talked with her just now as she wanted to get to know more about me.
The beauty is called Zoe Andersen, the Captain of this precinct.
I was assigned to her precinct after I graduated from the police academy.
You might be wondering when I joined the police academy?
I actually never did. I just faked the files that I had been there and went to the final practical exam.
With my level of skill I of course overwhelmed everyone other.
After that, I was assigned to a precinct.
The precinct I was assigned to is as I said before the precinct captained by Zoe Andersen.
After the small talk with my new Captain, I drove home.
It was about afternoon. I just watched TV and went to my home gym to train.
Doing this the day went by quickly and I went to sleep.
I never had problems to start sleeping and today is the same.
I soon woke up the next day, a little bit excited about my new job.
I was getting bored and didn't have many things to do. Due to this, I have gotten myself this job. I was sure that in the future I would move to NY. Then I would move to work at the 99th precinct. That was a small plan of mine.
The next day I woke up early.
I started to train early in the morning while watching the sun go up.
When it was time to drive to my workplace I stepped into my car and drove towards the precinct.
The car I drove was the newest Audi S8.
I was driving around the city quite comfortably, which is very rare in Los Angeles.
But that changed when I saw a beautiful young woman trying to drag her car out of the street.
Luckily she was currently in a pretty deserted area of the city.
"Do you need help?", I asked her.
I wanted to do my first good deed as a police officer.
"My car broke down. Could you help me carry it to the parking space there?", the woman asked with a begging look in her eyes.
"Of course", I said and drove to the parking lot.
I could also drag her car with mine, but the time required was too long.
"Let me help you", I said to her with a smile. The car was getting noticeably faster with my help.
We soon dragged the car towards the parking lot.
"Thanks for the help", the woman thanked me.
"No problem. My name is Ethan Alvarez", I said introducing myself to her.
"I am Lucy Chen", she said shaking my hands.
After that, she called a towing service.
"Do you need help? Should I drive you to your destination?", I asked Lucy wanting to do more helping. I liked the feeling quite a lot.
"No need. I will just take a Taxi. Thanks for your help again", Lucy said with a smile and went back onto the street looking for a Taxi.
I watched her and saw that she seemed to be threatened by a criminal.
I rushed over to help her, but when I arrived in front of her the guy was already in handcuffs.
"You're a cop?"; I asked her curiously.
"A problem with that?", Lucy said, seemingly thinking that everybody hated cops.
"Mid-Wilshire?", I asked her with a smile. We were near the precinct where I would start to work at.
"How did you know?", Lucy asked curiously.
"I will introduce myself a new. Ethan Alvarez, Rookie at Mid-Wilshire", I said with a smile.
Lucy's mouth was wide open.
"Anyway, I see no taxi nearby. Should I drive you to the precinct now?", I asked her with a smile.
"If I am not a bother", she answered with a smile.
I went back to the car and showed her my documents so that she could trust me.
After that, we put the criminal in the backseat and drove towards the precinct.
"Officer Chen reporting for duty", Lucy said in front of the registration desk while taking the criminal with her.
"Officer Alvarez reporting for duty", I said shortly after.
After that, we both went to our respective dressing rooms and started changing our clothes.
While walking in I already saw a young black man changing his clothes. I just nodded at him and quickly went to my locker.
I was in a hurry and had no time for small talk.
While changing I saw a police officer walking in.
I couldn't hear their conversation, but it seemed that he provoked the young man I saw in the beginning.
While I changed into my uniform the officer walked over.
"Nice muscles and what are these scars", the officer asked curiously.
"An accident", I had gotten quite a lot of scars due to that one accident with a big one running across my back and my stomach.
"Don't think just because you have these scars means you wouldn't be shocked by anything", the officer also provoked me.
Though now I realized something. The officer didn't mean to do us any bad. He wanted to give us advice. He wanted to prepare us. I could tell it in his voice.
"Thanks, Officer Bradford", I answered with a smile.
After that, he left.
I soon changed into my uniform and went towards the meeting room.
I sat in a chair in the middle of the first row.
Besides me, Lucy sat down.
On the desk to my left, the young black guy I saw in the changing room was sitting beside a middle-aged man.
Soon a person who looked a little similar to Terry walked into the room.
