"Hey Ethan", Haley said hugging me.

"Nice to see you Haley", I said hugging her back.

"Wanna continue watching the new Marvel movie?"

"Yes. Let us watch it together", she said dragging me upstairs.

I went into her room and we started the TV. 

We both laid down on the bed and started the movie while occasionally discussing some things about our friends or the movie or something in general.

It was always nice and never boring to hang out with Haley. She somehow made the interest in any room go up. I loved that part about her.

We first watched the new Marvel movie and then a RomCom. It was quite a good one and I enjoyed watching it.

I came in pretty early today. After watching it it was already 11 a.m.

I went downstairs with Haley.

Suddenly the landline of the Dunphys rang.

"It is my mom", Haley said to me while picking up the phone.

"Ok, yes. Yeah, I know. Ethan will cook for us. No problem"

Haley said to Claire. After a short call she hung up the phone.

"Mom is helping Gloria out with something. She won't be here till evening. You need to cook for us", Haley explained everything to me in short.

"You didn't even ask me?!", I said half-crying.

"Would you like to cook for us, please?", Haley finally asked.

"Of course", I agreed of course. I would still be here if Claire would be in the house and eat Claire's food. If I did that then I should also cook. Especially when Haley is my girlfriend.

"Thanks. What would I only do without you", Haley said giving me a quick kiss on my lips and already walking into the kitchen.

"I will be your assistant", Haley said putting on an apron. 

"What do you want to cook?", she asked me curiously.

"Spaghetti Bolognese", I said with a smile.

"Okaiiiii", Haley said while taking out everything needed for it.

She has already assisted me quite a few times with cooking.

"First the skillet", I told her.

She gave it to me and I put the skillet on top of the stove and put it in medium heat.

I added a tablespoon of olive oil to it. Right after that, I added onions, garlic, carrots and celery. 

I cooked it for about five minutes until it was softened.

"Perfect", I said.

After that, I added ground beef to the skillet. I cooked it and broke it up with a spoon as soon as it was cooking.

After that, I continued like that and added the rest of everything.

It took about another hour as I was waiting for everything to be cooked as it would add more flavor in the end.

After everything was ready I added all the spices and the Parmesan.

"How does it taste?", I asked Haley who got to be the first one to taste it.

"Perfect", she said.

"Alex, Luke dinners ready", I shouted in the hope of both hearing me.

"Jesus, you sound just like Dad", Alex said coming out of her room.

"We would be great parents, wouldn't we be", Haley said proudly.

"No, I would be a great father and you would just mess everything up", I said from the side while laughing.

"You are already getting the humor of Dad", Haley said while rolling her eyes.

"Come help us take the dishes to the table Alex", I asked for help from Alex who helped me.

Right at that moment Luke came downstairs with a little airplane in his hand.

"See. Ethan I am flying", Luke said while playing with his plane.

"Yeah, ready to land Pilot?", I asked putting the Parmesan on his plate.

We ate soon after. 

Some of the Spaghetti was left over as we were all full.

I secured the Spaghetti to not let it lose its taste. I put it in a qualified storage and marked it with a letter saying

"Spaghetti for dinner, if hungry"

Afterward, I played a few games with Haley on the console.

Haley quickly started to get bored and we watched a few movies again.

Soon. It was nearing evening.

I took out the rest of the Spaghetti as everyone was still hungry and agreed to eat it.

We ate the Spaghetti fast and then all of us sat on the couch.

We watched one or two movies together.

After we watched quite a boring movie I started to fall asleep. 

Luke fell asleep shortly before me.

I woke up only half an hour later and saw everyone was now sleeping. 

I was still tired and couldn't really think. 

My brain just pulled me into sleeping again soon after.

"Phil, be quick. The kids were home alone the whole time. I should have been home by evening and now it is almost midnight. They are worried for sure", Claire said anxiously.

"Ethan cared about them. We were lucky that he was here today. I am sure they are already sleeping", Phil said walking into the house.

"See. They are sleeping", Phil said walking into the living room and seeing us all sleeping on the couch.

Phil didn't get any answer as Claire just had a smile on her lips.

"Should we wake them up?", Claire asked Phil.

"Probably or their backs will hurt", Phil said.

After that he woke everyone up.

"Hello Claire and Phil. Sorry I fell asleep", I said seeing Phil and Claire in front of me.

"No problem. Thanks for cooking Ethan", Claire said.

Afterward, I just said goodbye to Haley and drove back to my home to sleep there for the rest of the night.
