Lucas knew about the slave crests from games, but this was the first time he saw them functioning in actual life.

-"A virtual reality."-

When Lucas heard this, he was left speechless.

The helmet was completely merged with his sound and he was merged with Rei's consciousness.

Gaburu was holding an unsheathed dagger behind his back.

He wanted to kill Rei!

Yes, when Orc Chief asked him to fetch Rei, he thought that he had enough.

He couldn't control himself and decided to kill him. Therefore, he was just checking the dagger and was deciding for one last time if he should kill Rei or not, and just when he was doing this, Rei appeared and called out to him.

'Logging!', Rei said in his mind, but nothing happened.

"LOGGING!", Rei shouted in front of Gaburu.

Due to this shout, Gaburu was startled.

"Wait… do you know about the dagger…?", Gaburu asked.

"Yes.", Rei answered.

Seconds later, Gaburu dashed forward in an attempt to stab Rei.

Unfortunately, he tripped against a small block of wood and fell down.

When Gaburu raised his head again, he found the dagger in his hands, but when his gaze fell on Rei's head, he found it turning into pixels!

In fact, almost the entire head vanished.

Gaburu panicked, thinking that it was him who did it and without a second to spare, stood up and rushed away with the dagger.
