Chapter 54: Tea Spilled!

"Nah! Fuck sleeping!" Diana giggled, winking at Lawrence before turning to all of us. "Anyways! Since everyone is here! Why don't I just spill some tea while we're at it! What better way to hang out and have fun is to share some tea! Who's ready! Cause I know I am!"

Lawrence narrowed his eyes on Diana, scratching his head with irritation. "No. Get out." He muttered out so bluntly.

Diana then pouted, giving Lawrence a playful grumpy look as she scoffed him off. "You are so no fun Lawry-poo." She then looked at Cypress and me. "How about you two? Lawrence's kind of a minute man so I guess he can't handle staying too long."

"Oh. I don't see any problem with sharing some tea. Lawrence brews the best tea so I suppose we could drink some. I remember correctly we have some cookies that will match with the tea so we can definitely do it!" My eyes sparkled with joy. Tea time with friends! That's one of the things I have on my list.

"Girl, you are hopeless... when I mean't "Get some tea." I meant a different type of tea, my dear." She patted me in the back. Huh? So that's a commoner expression or something?

"The kind of tea she is referring to is gossip or drama. At least that's from what I know." Cypress whispered over to me as he nudged my shoulder.

"Oh gossip? Isn't it very unlady-like to gossip and talk badly about other people?" I responded to Diana.

"I wouldn't exactly describe Diana as lady-like. She's more like clearance sale trash." Lawrence chimed in, jabbing a few insults to Diana's way. She snickered a little, brushing her hair and looking unaffected by the comments.

"Hmm. The kind of gossip that I do is usually not really meant to take someone down. It's more like giving news and such and since I have very reliable sources, I'm confident in sharing them with everyone." She chirped over to us.

"Depends on what the topic of this tea is. If it does interest me then I might stay here to listen for a bit." Cypress doubted, giving Diana time to tell the topic of her gossip to see if he does take interest on it.

"I mean it's not like I'm forcing you guys to listen to it or anything since you don't really need to. It's from another school entirely so ya." She chuckled, getting comfy as she sat down on the couch of the dorm room.

"Other schools huh? Now I am quite curious." Lawrence joined in the conversation. Sitting down on the same couch as Diana, although keeping at least a meter away from her at all time.

I mean I'm not really the type to indulge in gossip but I suppose I can stay and listen. "Perhaps we can brew some tea while we listen?" I suggested over to the group.

"Actually, I could brew some tea for us. I've grown quite a lot of these tea leaves in the gardening club and instead of letting them just rot. Perhaps we can use them!" Cypress offered with beaming eyes.

"Ugh.. fine. We can HAVE some real tea." Diana sighed and accepted my suggestion. Making Cypress and me cheer up and more motivated to listen.

Before we had our little tea session, Cypress went ahead over to the kitchen to brew the tea leaves that he had in his pocket while Lawrence got the cookies in the pantry to serve them over at the table. After everything was all set, we all looked at Diana to start speaking so that this whole thing would start.

"This better be interesting... I have to sleep after this, you know." Lawrence mouthed, yawning as he looked very fatigue from the lack of rest. I'm really starting to wonder why he never got enough sleep last night... did he stay up late or something?

"Okay so apparently." Diana flips her hair, coming closer to us. "A few irrelevant bitches on the nearby schools were kidnapped or something."

"Wait? Kidnapped?!" Lawrence's eyes widen along with Cypress and I. We were all surprised at what came out of Diana's mouth who had a dignified look on her face. It's as if she knew it happened.

"According to some of my sources, girls that fit the category of "thotty or slutty" have been going missing. Nobody really knows what happened but all the girls apparently texted their parents of them all going away for some guy." She explained about it further.

"Thotty and slutty. You mean girls like you?" Lawrence looked at her with a cheeky grin. "So are you going to get kidnapped now?" He said jokingly to her.

"I suppose you could describe me like that. Although these girls are like dumb bimbos from what I remember. They are soo judgemental over the smallest things so a guy making them run away is something odd." She replied to Lawrence's comment.

"But why was this labelled as a kidnapping exactly? I mean if the girls ran away from home, it's technically not kidnapping since they did have consent right?" Cypress decided to put his two cents into the conversation.

"Yup. That's honestly what everyone thought, until one of the girls were found. Well to put it more bluntly, their corpse was found in a nearby lake a few months later."

"Their corpse?! What on earth!? So they didn't run away after all!?" I exclaimed.

The sudden information made everyone in the room feel uncomfortable with themselves. It just brings shivers to our spine knowing that these girls near our school were kidnapped or something and then they ended up dead...

"Only one of the girls were found. Also, as an added bonus. According to the autopsy, she was missing a few organs and well..." Diana hesitated a bit, clearing her throat. "There were signs of sexual abuse on the victim before she died."

All of us went dead silent especially when Diana finally dropped the bomb with the details of the victim. It was a bit unsettling really. Hearing this, happen to people our age.

"Anyways that should be all!" She chuckled, giving us all a big bright smile. "I have to do other things so thank you guys for your time! Bye sweeties!" She waved goodbye, skeddaling out of there faster than how Lawrence takes a shower.

Well... I guess that just happened... Cypress, Lawrence and I looked at each other completely dumbfounded.
