Chapter 55: Here We Go Again

After our little tea session with Diana. Where she shared information about the recent missing girls at the schools near us. We decided to split up for the day since everyone had something to do.

Lawrence decided to go ahead and sleep due to his fatigue feeling while Cypress went to go back to the greenhouse to tend to his crops which just leaves me and Diana in the dorm room.

She looked at me with a playful smirk before patting her hand on the couch. "How about a little stroll around the campus?"

"I suppose we can do that. I mean classes are suspended for the time being right?" I responded, agreeing to her proposition of going out.

"Alright then! Since your brother is no fun and went ahead to sleep without even making me feel good! We can have some fun together!" She chirped as she stood up from the couch.

I also stood up from the couch and decided to follow Diana who was casually frolicking around the area like a little high school girl. She hopped and skipped, totally carefree of her surroundings. I continued following her as we went downstairs to the ground floor of the dorm house.

"By the way" I tilted my head to face her. "What were you and Lawrence doing when I opened the door on you."

Her face turned a shade of red, hiding it from me as she looked very embarrassed.

"Oh! Nothing to worry about! We were just having fun that's all! Kind of a friend thing!" She chuckled.

Hm... I see... I mean I saw Lawrence shirtless and pinning her to the wall... I guess that's some sort of friend thing right? Although I did see that once in a romance novel I've read. I guess friends do that too!

I'm glad Lawrence and Diana are getting along! I mean the last time I've seen them together, they totally hated each other.

"I'm glad you're getting along well with my brother!" I responded cheerfully as she timidly fakes a smile.

"By the way, what do you mean by. my brother is taking advantage of you exactly?" I added.

Her eyes widen a split second before she snickered. "I can't tell you about it sorry. Your brother might kill me or something if I did."

"He already went hard on me today so I doubt I want to get a second pounding." She giggled.

"Oh a pounding? Is my brother hurting you or something? I mean when he pinched your cheek. It did hurt quite a lot right?" I asked her, genuinely concerned for her health.

"Nah, I'm a fine girl. Don't worry about it." She reassures me. "By the way, how was your stay here at Tomoki High? I mean like you've only been here for like a total two days at most but what's your general experience here like?" She attempted to change the subject but I didn't really mind about it.

"I suppose it was quite alright. I did meet a lot of good friends... I think... but it's better than staying at my cas-" I stopped myself from talking as I realized I was about to mutter out something.

"Hm? I didn't quite hear that dear." She gave me a confused look.

"Oh I mean. I didn't really have many friends back then so I'm glad I met quite a few people!" I rephrased what I was about to say.

I can't exactly tell her that I was locked up in a castle my whole life and I'm a princess of a country and the only friend I had was plants and Lawrence.

"I'm guessing you lived a pretty sheltered life haven't you?"

I gulped before answering. "Yup. I did... I never had a lot of people around me so I never really got any friends."

Is she catching onto it or something? I can feel like she's trying to pry for more information... or is that just my imagination...

"So that explains those very delicate hands." She blurted out, making me a bit bewildered at her statement.

"Pardon?" I recoiled my head.

"Remember when we met like a day ago. I touched your hands at that time. You might have forgotten but I did and I felt like you had very delicate hands. Too delicate in fact. It's as if you never did any hard labor at all." She explained.

"Which lead me to believe that you had a very rich family. Am I right?" She looked at me for clarification of her hypothesis. Oh my god! She's actually not that far off... SHE WAS REALLY ABLE TO TELL THAT WITH JUST TOUCHING MY HANDS...

"Um... I guess you're not really that far off..." I responded timidly.

"By the way, how about you. What do you usually do during your free time?" I changed the subject so that she doesn't pry into my secret life even more. Can't have anyone finding out that I'm a princess and Lawrence isn't actually my brother but is my personal attendant.

"Hm... besides dealing with bitches twenty-four-seven because I stole their boyfriends because the boys totally think that I'M WAY CUTER than their girlfriends. No shade by the way. I usually just hang out in the debate club although it ends up in another affair which I totally didn't mean by the way! It's not my fault I keep attracting guys with girlfriends!" She answered.. although it's a bit too much information...

"Really?" I inquired her even further. She giggled, thinking it was amusing that I was that interested in her personal life.

"Yup, actually I tend to-" Her words were interrupted when a group of girls decided to shout at the end of the corridor we were walking on the word. "SLUT!"

What the? What's going on?! I looked around frantically, looking at the girls in the distance and I noticed that all of them were looking at me...

Oh my god... Here we go again... What do these girls want from me again?
