(A/n)- Warning! Lots of violence ahead! Read at your own risk! Thanks for reading!

"I'm sorry, (Y/n)... I'm so sorry..."

Adrien threw his chair aside and left the classroom. He didn't care about the weird looks he got. He was mad.

But why was he mad? Was he mad at you for crying? Was he mad at everyone for being so pathetic?

Or was he mad at himself?

The thought made him stop in his tracks. Why would he be mad at himself? His mind flashed to you.

His eyes widened. Was he feeling guilty? How could that be?

You were just another pain he had to deal with everyday. You weren't anything special. You were simply there for his sick entertainment.

n

Adrien shook his head. What was he thinking? The hall was silent, but his mind raced.

He recalled when he tried to get you to follow him. What was he planning to do there? Was he going to show you his secret?

Was he going to beat you up again? But he had stopped. The tears from your eyes had made a pit of unknown and unwanted feelings settle in his stomach.

And he needed to leave. He didn't like what your sadness had done to him. But as he continued to try to rationalize his odd behavior, he found that he couldn't.

He cared about you. The reality made him sick. The girl he had been so cruel to, he cared the most about?

What kind of logic is that? He didn't understand. But he knew that the sudden guilt and twisted knots in his stomach were because of you.

Adrien let out a frustrated sigh. "Great...now I'm crushing on her..." He was mad.

He didn't like this. He didn't like what you had done to him. And he needed to blow off some steam.

Adrien ran out of the school and down the street. He needed to get you off of his mind. And Cat Noir knew how to take care of that.

"Pathetic."

Cat kicked the man's ribs again. The man let out a strained cough. He didn't understand what he did.

"You made a mistake trying to talk to me." Cat took his staff from the ground. It had scuffs on it from where he had hit the man in the knees.

The man laid there with his eyes half-open. His face was bruised and one of his eyes was starting to darken. He could only stare up at the male in front of him.

Cat turned away, ready to leave. He put his staff in his belt and said some last words. "You should've never turned into this alley. That was your first mistake."

The boy walked away and out of the alley. Whatever frustration he was feeling was gone. He let out a sigh of relief.

Cat climbed up the ladder attached to the building on his left. The streets were busy and he didn't want to get caught up in the chaos. And as he reached the roof he could see the sun's bright rays shining down on the city of Paris.

It was hideous. Cat took off and started running across the rooftops. He felt good.

Cat looked down at the bustling traffic of cars and people. His eyes caught a blur of (H/c). He paused.

His eyes landed on your figure, head low and pace slow. Cat felt that sick feeling again. His eyes glared daggers into your skull.

Without hesitation he jumped down from the building and landed in front of you. You jumped in fright. Your heart began beating rapidly at the sight of Cat.

He was glaring at you as if you'd done something to him. You started backing away, tears still pouring down your cheeks. Cat watched you.

"P-please, just leave me alone!" You didn't want this anymore. Cat took a step closer.

"Now, why would I do that?"

You just wanted to go home. The nurse had sent you home early because you had suffered an anxiety attack. You hated yourself for letting Cat get to you like this.

"Are you crying?" he asked as he backed you up into the dark clearing between the two buildings. You could feel your body shaking. The tears wouldn't stop.

"Weak."

You tripped over a rock as you were being forced back. You crashed to the ground. Cat stared down at you with hatred in his emerald hues.

He hated you. He despised you. You messed with his mind.

You made him feel sick. He hated the things you did to him. You were always there, wherever he went.

And he was tired of it. He was tired of you. He wanted these churning feelings to go away.

"You never learn, do you?"

Adrien sat at his desk staring at the empty seat next to him. His frown deepened at the thought of what he did yesterday. He felt terrible.

Why couldn't he stop hurting people? Why couldn't he find a normal way to cope with his anger? Why does he always have to hurt you?

There it was again. That churning feeling. He felt guilty for what he had done.

But it seemed that no matter how hard he tried, there was no stopping it. It was like he was trapped in a vicious cycle and he couldn't stop it. He hated himself.

He hated Cat.

Adrien's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the bell ringing. Class had started. And you weren't there.

A ball of worry burrowed itself in the pit of Adrien's stomach. He was worried about you. Were you ok?

He knew the answer without even asking. You were definitely not ok. You were probably in bed resting from what had happened yesterday.

Adrien felt like a jerk. And as he stared at your empty seat, he made a promise to himself. He promised never to hurt you again.

From now on he vowed to protect you and to make things right. He would no longer be Cat Noir. He was Adrien Agreste.

He took his ring off and shoved it in his bag.

You walked up the steps of the school with your bag clutched tightly against your side. Your legs felt like jello. You didn't want to be here.

"(Y/n)!" You almost squeaked from fright. You turned to see Adrien beckoning you over.

He stood by himself under one of the trees. He had a smile on his face which caught you off guard. He usually only smirked.

You made your way over to him and gave a small wave. "Why weren't you at school yesterday?" he asked in slight concern. Something felt off.

Adrien wasn't usually the one to ask about you and act concerned. He didn't smile. He didn't like talking.

It was like he was a completely different person. "I-I didn't feel good..." You cursed yourself for stuttering.

Adrien looked down with an expression you couldn't make out. "Oh...I'm sorry..." You blinked.
