Marc x Bullied! Singer! Reader

(A/n)- This was requested by . Go check them out! I'm going to put a song in here called Baby I Love you. I don't know who owns it, but credit goes to them. I don't own it. Thanks for reading!

You hid in the back of the classroom, afraid Chloe might see you. You pulled your hood over your head as if it would turn you invisible. There was laughter coming from the front of the room ans you knew it was her.

There wasn't anyone else in the room. And her cringy voice was very noticeable. "Oh, look. The loser showed up to school once again."

You just kept to yourself hoping she'd leave you alone. "Hey!" She tore your hood from your head and glared at you.

"I thought I told you to leave. You should clean out your ears once in a while. Get-"

"Chloe!" A loud voice from behind her forced her to shut up. You were so grateful for the person thst you let out a sigh in relief. "A-Adrikins!"

Oh, Adrien. He was a nice kid. You almost laughed thinking about what he would say to Chloe, but held your tongue.

"I told you. This trash-" Adrien cut her off. "Where do you see trash? Because I only see a girl named (Y/n) that doesn't deserve your bullying. I don't think we can be friends anymore, Chloe."

It was silent for a second before you felt someone slap your face. It stung but you just winced a bit. Chloe stomped off, crying her eyes out.

After that Adrien sat next to you and asked if you were alright. "Y-Yeah, I'm fine. You didn't have to stick up for me, you know?" He just gave you a small smile and shook his head.

"I-" Adrien was cut short by someone calling your name. You looked at the door to see Marc waving at you.

"Um, could we continue this conversation later," you asked Adrien shyly. He looked from you to Marc and gave a knowing smile. "Of course."

You thanked him and ran down the steps to catch up with Marc. He gave you his usual friendly hug and asked how your morning's been. You never really told him about the bullying, so you judt kept it short and simple.

"U-um, it's been g-good." You mentally slapped yourself for stuttering. "That's good. Hey, why was Adrien talking with you? He normally doesn't hang out with anyone besides Nino and the girls."

You looked down and thought for a moment. Does he think you like Adrien? Or maybe...is he jealous?

The thought made you blush slightly but you shook the possibility of that out of your head. "O-oh, he...kinda saved me from Chloe," you answered in a question like tone. You mentally pleaded for him to not ask what happened.

You didn't want him to see you as this helpless little girl in need of assistance. You didn't want his sympathy. The only thing you wanted from Marc was his love.

"Oh, was she giving you a hard time?"

You smiled slightly realizing he knew you didn't want to talk about it. "Yeah, but wh-who doesn't she give a hard time, r-right?" He chuckled and nodded his head in agreement.

You entered the art room where only the art teacher was. It was, after all, an hour before school started. "Hello, kids. I'm guessing you want to make another song?"

He hit the nail on the target. You and Marc have been writing and producing songs for years now. It's what brought y'all together.

"You know it."

It was another terrible day at school. Chloe was still bothering you and Marc's been out of school because he was sick. You groaned and dropped your head to the table.

"What's wrong, (Y/n)?"

You turned your head to see Adrien looking at you concerned. "Nothing..." Adrien sighed and leaned back in his new seat.

Yes, Adrien had moved to sit with you. You didn't know why though. "We both know that's a lie. Tell me what's troubling you."

How were you supposed to tell him you were planning on running away because you couldn't stand Chloe anymore? How were you supposed to tell him you were in love with Marc? Would he quit being your friend?

"Really, nothing."

The next week, (Y/n) didn't show up to school. She had ran away, leaving only one thing. A tape recorder.

Before she fled town, she sent it to Marc, hoping he'd listen to what it said. She was done with everything and wanted to just escape it all. So, she would find a better life somewhere else.

When Marc heard a knock on the door he went to answer it just to find no one there. The only thing he saw was a dmall package adressed to him. He picked it up and opened it to find a tape recorder inside.

"Who would send me this...?"

Then his finger traced over the play button. He pressed it and a familiar voice started speaking. "Hey, Marc."

After a short explanation of what was happening, (Y/n) told Marc she wrote him a song. "I hope you feel the same."

Then her guitar started up.

Tears streamed down Marc's face as he listened to the tape stop. (Y/n) loved him? And...now she was gone?

His best friend, gone. The one person that accepted him, ran off by Chloe. Why didn't she tell him?

Why, (Y/n)? Why didn't you tell me sooner? I-I love you too...

That's it. I'm not standing around any longer. The tears lining my cheeks subsided and I clenched my teeth.

And then I heard the flapping of wings, and that's when it all went pitch black.
